RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY 21 SEE BY THE WORD AND SPEAK ACCORDINGLY Pastor Chris While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18). We’re not supposed to be victims in the earth, but victors. But many Christians live as victims, as captives of adverse circumstances, because they neither see nor live by the Word. The adversities, pressures and difficulties of life aren’t a factor. Paul, in the preceding verse to our opening scripture, calls them “light affliction, which is but for a moment….” In other words, to you, that problem or adverse circumstance may have been for ten years, but it’s subject to change, and guaranteed to work for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. How? The answer is what we read in our opening verse! Stop looking at your present physical condition; see the invisible. When you see the invisible, the wilderness experience will end. See God doing great things in your life and through your life this year. See yourself prosperous, healthy, vibrant and strong. See yourself walking in victory and in the glory of God. See the picture, accept it, and speak accordingly. Consider the story of Abraham in Genesis 17. He took his gaze off what his physical senses dictated to him and looked at the invisible through the eyes of the spirit. He saw himself as the father of many, just as God had said. The Apostle Paul, in Romans 4:17, explains to us that Abraham believed what God had said concerning him: “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” This is the beginning of a new year; something you must do consciously and consistently every day is to boldly declare who you really are. Don’t speak failure; don’t speak defeat. Have the right vision. See from God’s perspective. Meditate on and declare His Word. When you affirm what God has said about you, your soul will be adjusted to act that way. Whatever God has said about you, endorse it, believe it, and affirm it to yourself consistently (Hebrews 13:5-6). Consciously programme your life with the Word of God. CONFESSION I see myself making progress with giant strides; my path is that of the just that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. My focus is on the Lord and His Word; His Wisdom guides and rules my life. I see and walk in victory, health, prosperity and joy, now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. #CEMCA 14 DAYS PRAYER AND FASTING WITH REV. TOM (10TH - 23RD JAN. 2021) PRAYER GUIDE FOR DAY 12 - THURSDAY 21ST JANUARY PRAYER TIMES: 6:00-6:15AM, 12:00-12:15PM, 3:30-4:00PM, 6:00PM (Congregational Prayers and Communion) PRAYER SESSION 1 (6:00AM) ⭕ It's our Year of Preparation, and our preparation must be according to God's purpose, plan and timing. Pray sincerely from your heart, yielding more and more to the Holy Spirit, to lead and guide you in His preordained paths, in sync with God's perfect will for you every day. 📖 ACTS 13:1‭-‬2 (MSG) - One day as they were worshiping God—they were also fasting as they waited for guidance—the Holy Spirit spoke: “Take Barnabas and Saul and commission them for the work I have called them to do.” 📖 PSALMS 23:2-3 - He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. PRAYER SESSION 2 (12:00-12:15PM) 📖 1CORINTHIANS 9:16,19,25 - 16- Yet preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about. I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News!  19- Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ. 25- All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. ⭕ Thank the Lord for the unquenching passion in your heart to win the lost for Him, driving you to act besides yourself as He prompts you. Pray and commit again and again to His purpose for you in the gospel, declaring that your eyes are open, and your heart attentive, and many are coming to Christ through you every day. PRAYER SESSION 3 (3:30-4:00PM) ⭕ Pray that righteousness will fill our land, as we cause God's divine presence to be manifested through our prayers and soul winning activities, demonstrating true faith and commitment to the Lord's cause, and by this, the unsaved will be convicted of sin, of righteousness and of God's judgement, and many will cry out for salvation. 📖 JOHN 16:8 - And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment... 📖 ACTS 2:37-38 - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. ⭕ Pray for yourself and all our brethren, that none of us will be carried away with the seeming comforts of the present as to be complacent about the Lord's work. Pray for everyone to be daily daily driven by the Lord's purpose with urgency, conscious that we are at war, inspiring uncompromising action in directing the course of our world with the gospel through our commitment to soul winning and partnership. 📖 ESTHER 4:13‭-‬14 (AMP) - Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, “Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the Jews. For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?” 📖 MATTHEW 12:30 (MSG) - “This is war, and there is no neutral ground. If you’re not on my side, you’re the enemy; if you’re not helping, you’re making things worse." #CEMCABUJA #CEMCA14DAYSPRAYERANDFASTING #YEAROFPREPARATION
