The most succesful people in the world do very little thinking, yet achieve so much. This may come to you as a surprise but it’s the truth. They have learnt to look to their spirits for answers. To be very successful you have to train your spirit. As a new creation in Christ Jesus, your spirit can be an accurate guide because that’s where the light of God is: “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching for all the inward parts of the belly” (Proverbs 20:27). Your spirit can recieve light from God; ideas and thoughts that’ll make you creative and excellent in all you do, such that you’ll hardly find yourself in trail-and-error situations. But for your spirit to be an accurate guide, you have to educate him. This kind of situation is different from what you get from school. School education only helps to get your mind enlightned, but won’t suffice for you to be the best in life. That’s because the highest potential of the human nature isn’t in the mind but in the spirit. So begin the exercise of educating your spirit with the word. Do this by studying and meditating on the word consistently. Spend quality time to listen to God’s word regularly! That way, you develop your spirit for success and excellence. God’s plan is for you to have your spirit educated so he can relate with you at a high level. ~ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. #LAUGHTER #SUPERNATURAL #AFFIRMATIONTRAIN
DAILY NUGGETS WORKING THE WORD When we talk about working the word, we're actually saying, putting the word to work. You know often, we say "THE WORD WORKS", yes, it does, but, in reality, the word only works when you "WORK" it out. It never works by itself. God gave us His word to live by. That means you can believe the word;you can love it, sing and jump about it, but until you act on the message, it'll be to you of no effect. You've got to do the word;that's where the blessing is: "But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed" (James 1:25). How do you do or work the word? Romans 10:10 gives us an idea;it says "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation". The word "confession" doesn't mean telling somebody the wrong things that you did. That word is the Greek "homologeo" which means speaking the same thing in consent, saying the same thing in agreement with God. For example, the Bible say's in 2cor 5:17 ".. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature". You affirm in agreement, "I'm a new creature". If you say, "I don't know if I'm a new creature", you invalidate that reality, and it won't work in your life. You don't have to "feel" that you're a new creation;the word says you are;therefore, you believe and affirm the same thing. When you make the confession with your mouth, it catapults you to the reality of it's message. So, always make your confessions on the basis of the word. The Bible says, "Greater is He that's in you, than he that's in the world" (1john 4:4). Affirm the same, and refuse to fear or consider the adversary. that's how to respond to God. Hebrews 13:5-6 says "... For he hath said...so that we may boldly say.." God has spoken sothat we can boldly declare what he's said. This is simply telling us about confession of the word. Your confession of the word is your response to the word. That's the way to work the word and make it produce results in your life.
