IT’S OUR MONTH OF INSTRUCTION. GIVE NO PLACE TO SATAN – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me (John 14:30). One of the ways Satan finds his way into people’s lives is through thoughts; their acceptance of his thoughts. When Satan plants a lie into a man’s heart and the man believes and accepts it, automatically, there’s a connection between him and Satan. Remember, you can’t separate a man from his word, likewise, you can’t separate Satan from his word. Therefore, refuse to accommodate his thoughts and words. In our opening verse, Jesus said Satan had nothing in Him. This is very instructive. It lets you know why Jesus had no sense of doubt or fear; there was nothing of darkness in Him, and He declared it boldly. Have the same confidence. Refuse to accommodate anything from the devil. Don’t give place to frustration, depression or sadness. Ephesians 4:27 says, “Neither give place to the devil”; you give place to him by giving place to his thoughts and words. Think about it: How did Jesus locate Satan in Peter? It was because Peter spoke the thoughts Satan had planted in his heart, and immediately, Jesus turned to Peter and said, “…get thee behind me, Satan…” (Matthew 16:23). Was Jesus referring to Peter as Satan? No, He wasn’t. But Peter gave place to Satan by accepting his thoughts and giving voice to those thoughts. This still happens today with many people. Satan could come to someone and say, “Can’t you see how miserable your life is? This Word of God that you’ve believed all these years, is it really working?” If you ever hear such a voice, refute it, for that’s Satan talking. Don’t entertain his thoughts. Like Jesus, let him have nothing in you. When He comes with those negative, depressing thoughts—thoughts that are contrary to God’s Word—tell him off immediately, with God’s Word in your mouth, and he’ll flee. #INSTRUCTION #AUTOEDIFICATION #REFLECTION #INFLUENCE #SUPERNATURAL #AFFIRMATIONTRAIN

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *RESPOND TO THE WORD…NOT TO CIRCUMSTANCES .* Monday, October 29th . Pastor Chris _*But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me (Matthew 14:30).*_ On a certain day, Peter and the other disciples were in a boat, far in the sea, when they saw someone walking on the water towards them. Frightened, they thought they’d seen a ghost; but to assuage their fear, the Lord said to them, _*“...Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid”*_ (Matthew 14:27 NKJV). To be double sure, Peter replied, _*“...Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water”*_ (Matthew 14:28 NKJV). And Jesus said to Peter, “Come!” Straightaway, Peter got out of the boat, into the water, and started walking on water to meet Jesus; a remarkable miracle! However, as Peter approached Jesus, the wind and waves became boisterous, and Peter became distracted, and began to sink (Matthew 14:30). He walked on the water as long as his attention was on the Master, but things changed when he shifted his focus to the prevailing circumstances. Refuse to allow circumstances run your life. You’re a creature of faith, and faith doesn’t consider circumstances; faith responds only to the Word. No matter how fierce the attacks of the enemy may be, refuse to be moved; walk on in victory. Be like Abraham who refused to consider his body, when he was about one hundred years old, neither did he consider the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Rather, he was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:19-20). 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 says, _*“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”*_ Stay your mind on the Word always; look away from the challenge, the difficulty, unto Jesus, the living Word, and He’ll keep you in perfect peace; the peace of prosperity. Hallelujah! *CONFESSION* *My gaze is fixed on the Lord and His eternal Word. I refuse to be moved, deterred, distracted or influenced by situations or circumstances that are contrary to the provisions of God’s Word. I soar above circumstances, and walk in perpetual victory, because I live by the Word. Blessed be God!* *FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Isaiah 43:2* When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. *||* *||* *Luke 10:19* Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. *||* *||* *Romans 4:19-20* And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; *||* *DAILY SCRIPTURE READING* *1-Year Bible Reading Plan=>* Titus 1-2 & Jeremiah 29-30 *2-Year Bible Reading Plan=>* James 3:1-18 & Ezekiel 29 #NCVZ1 #INSTRUCTION #MONTHOFINSTRUCTION #RON2018 #istandfornigeria #inspiringgreaterdreams #rhapsodyofrealities #dailydevotional www.rhapsodyofrealities.org
