Maame Yaa Addae-Mensah, a 2018 FALA Winner and FALF ambassador from Ghana, visited the Junior Girls Correctional Center and Shelter Home in one of the towns in Accra, Ghana, where she distributed foodstuff worth 3 months feeding to the students, as well as toiletries, clothes, shoes and sanitary items. She embarked on this project as a response to the needs of the school, as most of these children were street children and juvenile delinquents who had been separated from parents. Maame Yaa Addae is driven by the needs of such young people in the society and intends to extend these philanthropic activities to other similar institutions and street homes in the nation, thereby encouraging participation of more stakeholders in this agenda. #GIA #FALF #IMPACTAFRICA #PROJECTAFRICA
