Prayer Is Unrestricted Influence... Yesterday being the first Sunday in the month of May, marked the beginning of many glorious things to come in the CELVZ. One of which was the start of the CELVZ's 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Our Highly esteemed Pastor Yemisi Kudehinbu exhorted the brethren on the importance of prayer and fasting, admonishing us to make the most of this time. Here are some nuggets on her admonition on prayer and fasting. Proverbs 4:18 shows us that our Light isn't a constant beam, but it shines with ever-increasing intensity and during this time of 21 days of prayer and fasting in the CELVZ, our light will shine even brighter. ✓ Prayer is an unrestricted influence in the realm of the Spirit and it creates a force around you that causes changes. The more you pray, the more your force field saturates your environment with the awareness and desire for God. ✓ Prayer doesn't make you more powerful, but it helps you become a more effective Christian. In prayer, you're carrying out ministry but you're being ministered to as well. ✓ Prayer intensifies the reach of your light. As your light shines, darkness is repelled and strongholds are destroyed. Through Prayers, we dispel the force of discouragement and people become more open to the Gospel. ✓ Fasting is a spiritual exercise that gets your spirit more attuned to God and helps you build a strong desire for change. Good has been determined for you; doors are opened for you but you need clarity to see and enter through. Your prophecies have been established, it's time to walk in the reality of them. It’s time to water your seeds and walk in the manifestation of your harvest. During this time of prayers, get ready to get specific guidance on the things you're doing, your ministry, business, projects, etc. For information on prayer times and participation at the care group level, please contact your care group leader or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Don’t forget to join our midweek service from wherever you are on Wednesday. God bless you.
