How could we have known that the greatest thing in life is a thing so 'common', a thing so near. He taught us how to 'see' words, how to love words and how to use words. I so love words, I'm so lifted by words; Pastor's words in ROR prayers. Check these out: Dear Jesus, You’re my life and my all. You are the very air I breath You are my lover and best friend Thank You for your wisdom that guides me Thank You for your grace that's superabundant on me Thank You for your words that has transformed me, causing me to ride upon the high places of the earth What a wonder you are precious saviour! #liftchallenge #monthofuplifting #lifted! Mine was a dawning effect. Absolute. Sudden. And you're like, wow! It really is so! The Word indeed is Light. The Word crystallizes the things of God. For a couple of weeks I've been sensing something huge in my spirit but couldn't really pin it down. So as I listened again to the September Communion service, it got to the part where Pastor read about king David's realization that God had indeed established him. And boom! My! It just hit me! This is it! I've been established in blessings! No need to continue worrying about losing these glorious goodness all around me. The Spirit of God just told me, "hey! Calm down boy! These are all yours. You ain't losing it. You've been born into it. There's now no you without the blessings!" Wow! Lord! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! He continued, "... quit trying to always figure out how to do the 'right things', quit worrying your head off about the 'good' things you do that 'guarantees' these blessings. No! Just focus on Me! Focus on continuously fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. Let your gaze be continually on Him. In a nutshell, walk in the light as He is in the..." Tell you, there, right there was a glorious light for me! A gloriously liberating light that lifts! I'm so, so lifted! There's so, so much to say but this is the lifting for me.
