GOD'S PERFECT LOVE- Loving those who may be difficult to love (2) Cultivate a consistent prayer life: .....There are times when instead of praying for changes in our own lives, we are absorbed in praying for God to change our spouse, sibling, boss or leader. Usually we are thinking they are the ones that are the problem instead of practicing our humility and provoking others to love by our own example. As we humble ourselves in prayer, we experience a supernatural transformation of the Spirit that overflows into our relationships and attitude towards others.... Pray for Others: ....You know sometimes in our relationships with others, it’s easy to give someone a random ultimatum like, “If you don’t change your ways, I will do this or do that!” They may change or try to make some adjustments for a while, but their bad attitude will eventually show up again because they got an ultimatum and not a change of heart. Only God’s Word can change anyone’s heart. Our prayers should be that others yield their hearts to God’s Word so that they can be all He wants them to be and do all He wants them to do. Pray that the Lord will help them get to the root of their bad behavior, realize when they’re hurting other people and make definite changes. I am an ardent believer that we can demonstrate and show the kindness of God to anyone, to overcome the possible sadistic and narcissistic traits in one's character, because God’s perfect love flowing through us is powerful enough to melt and pierce even the hardest hearts.... Help them be free: It is my deepest desire and hope that someone (you) who is reading this book will get and be free of anything inconsistent with God within that’s gotten you all entangled and wired up emotionally. Is there someone in your life who seems or is just difficult and problematic to love? If so, take a few moments to pray for yourself and them right now. Then choose to begin putting the following principles into practice consistently. · Always practice believing the best of others just as you would want others to, for you (1 Corinthians 13:7 KJV) ·Pray for yourself and them too, it changes you, them and everything (Matthew 7:3-5 and Matthew 5:44 KJV) · Always be quick to gift forgiveness and forget abot the incident too (Ephesians 4:32 KJV) · Let your love be magnanimous, cover their mistakes or sin (1 Peter 4:8 KJV) · Don’t use your mouth to run them down at any given opportunity or gossip or back-bite them (Proverbs 11:13 KJV) · Always speak highly of them and speak blessings over their lives (Ephesians 4:29 KJV) · Always be ready to support, help or be there for them if they need someone (Luke 6:27 KJV) ·Never rejoice, mock, scorn or gloat when they get into trouble (Proverbs 24:17 KJV) · Treat people the way God treats you and the way you want to be treated (Matthew 7:12 KJV) Great full weekend cuppa☕ very filling too.
