⭐A REFRESHING THOUGHT FOR YOU TODAY⭐ Thursday, 6th April,2017. 📜 “You’re in the world, but not of the world” (John 15:19), meant that you operate in this physical environment, but with a different set of rules! When the flood came in the days of Noah, so high and fierce, destroying all because the wickedness of man was so great in the earth (Genesis 6:5-8), those inside the ark were preserved. The flood that destroyed the world, was the same that bore the ark higher. That ark typified Christ. There’s no destruction for the one who’s in Christ; you’re safe and secure in Him for eternity!* The Psalmist said, “But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.” He’s a safe place! Christ is your security, defence, and your fortress. It makes no difference what’s happening out there in the world, refuse to fear. You’re not alone: the greater One lives in you, and you live in Him. Rhapsody Of Realities Teevo.. Thursday, April 6th 2017.. TURN ON THE SEARCHLIGHT (Let God’s Light Shine In Your Heart) TO THE BIBLE: Proverbs 20:27 NASB “The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, Searching all the innermost parts of his being.” LET’S TALK There’s something about sin that many need to understand. There’re spiritual sins, and there’re physical sins. There’re sins you commit in dealing with other human beings, but there’re sins you commit in dealing with God. For example, if you’re proud towards people and against them, they may never know, because pride is a spiritual sin; only God sees it. And the Bible says, “…God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6 GNB). That means no one who’s proud can really excel with God. Until the light of God shines in your heart, and defines pride to you, you could continue living in pride and not know it. This is why, as a child of God, you ought to continually search your heart with the Word, to rid it of any form of spiritual sin. The Bible says, “The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12 GNB). The Word of God checks your thoughts and your motives. Therefore, give yourself to the Word; attend church services regularly and be present at your cell meetings. During such meetings, through the in-depth teaching and study of the Word, your faith is built strong, and your heart is purified—cleansed from all unrighteousness. Jesus said in John 15:3, “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.” The Word cleanses you from sin and gives you the power to live above sin. Go Deeper Psalm 44:21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Pray Dear Lord, thank you for the impact of your Word in my life. I yield myself completely to be ruled by your Word—in my thoughts, words, and actions. I’m cleansed continually by your Word today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
