Inspired A4AYouth from Northern Nigeria Develops Recycling Process to Convert Used Water Sachets into High Quality Shoe Polish ♻ ♻ ♻ Considering the non-biodegradable nature of water sachets and the heavy adverse environmental effects, an innovative A4AYouth has developed a unique chemical recycling process which he termed Solvent Reaction Pyrolysis; used water sachets are cracked through this process and converted to poly-ethylene wax which is then used as a raw material for the production of useful and high quality Shoe Polish. He uses this same chemical process in the production of other materials such as Interlocking Bricks and Lubricants, he has also trained 200 young people in Northern Nigeria on waste management and recycling.
