Praying like never before
GLOBAL PRAYER WEEK DAY 4 MORNING SESSION EXHORTATION SESSION WITH THE ESTEEMED CEO, PASTOR DEOLA PHILIPS Every moment of prayer is an investment in eternity. Prayer is an investment of ourselves into God. PROVERBS 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked isan abomination to the LORD: But the prayer of the upright is his delight. God delights in our prayers. REVELATION 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Our prayers are never lost or wasted; they're kept. No breath of prayer, no word spoken to the Lord disappears into nothing. The Lord has record of our prayers; He delights in our prayers. The prayers were uttering this week are making impact in the present and setting things in place for many years to come. We are effecting changes that can never be reversed. PASTORS' DEFINITIONS OF PRAYER 1. Prayer is exercising our authority and causing to happen, those things within the power given to us in Christ Jesus. We're not helpless; we can use the authority given to us to effect changes. With the power of the Holy Spirit given to us, and the power in the name of Jesus, we can effect changes. This week, we have an opportunity to exercise our authority. Rivers of living water are flowing out from us, bringing healing to the nations of the world. 2. Prayer is enforcing the will of the Father on the earth. Sickness is not God's will, neither is violence. EXODUS 14:23-25 23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, 25 and took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. This year, we have supernatural interventions; God Himself is stepping into situations for our sake, moreso with our effectual fervent prayers. As we've prayes this week, that which the enemy had that gave them speed and advantage is taken away, and they will never rise again. ROMANS 8:26-27 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is our supreme advantage. We have the Holy Spirit in us, Who takes hold with us against the areas of darkness or ignorance, and He is there to intercede with us. This year, we will accomplish a lot through prayers; meaning that there will be things we would birth in the place of prayer, and by the time we step out, it's done. Pray until there's a note of victory. Don't stop until you get that note of victory. You will know in your spirit when it happens. There are things that the Spirit of God knows about that we may not be aware of; but He knows and He guides us to make intercession as we ought. We are not helpless. Jesus gave us power; vital power - dunamis, to effect changes. And He gave us authority to effect His will. ROMANS 8:28 This is the climax of our praying and intercession. In the place of prayer, we are synchronised with the Holy Spirit in such a way that brings about the manifestation of His will on the earth. EPHESIANS 6:10-19 No human is your enemy. Jesus exposed the culprit - satan. Praying always - every moment of prayer is an investment in eternity, in your relationship with the Lord. It's not lost or wasted. There's no limit to the scope of our prayers; we can pray for all saints, we can pray for the ministers of the gospel. We can pray for our leaders, our man of God and our senior Pastors. DANIEL 9:1-6, 17-23 Don't accept when things don't happen the way they ought to happen. There's are things that you can change and enforce in the place of prayer. As we pray, there are angelic manifestations and interventions; they're coming with visions and revelations. Four things you receive in the place of prayer 1. Visions 2. Direction 3. Drive and inspiration 4. Resource Allocation Praying now for the sick all around the world...
