its 1 Day to Go..... The rain of miracle falling on you Today🎶🎶🎶🔊🔊🎤🎤🎤🎻🎻🎻🎵. We are all set for 3DAYS of Impartation with Esteemed Pastor Linda Okocha #CEUYO #SSZ2

Good morning *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* WEDNESDAY, 22ND MAY. *BAR THE WRONG THOUGHTS FROM YOUR HEART* *Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).* The word, “keep” as used in the scripture above is the same used in Genesis 2:15: *“And the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”* It actually implies taking care of something in a protective way and ensuring its security against an external aggressor. The Good News Bible translation puts it clearer. It says, “…the LORD God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and guard it.” The word “guard” has a military connotation, which suggests protecting from attack or maintaining in safety from danger. This is the sense in which we’re to defend our hearts against wrong thoughts. Wrong, unwholesome thoughts are enemies you must ward off continually. Read the James Moffat’s rendering of our opening verse; it’s profound. It says, “Guard above all things, guard your inner self so you can live and prosper. Bar out all thoughts of evil and banish wayward words.” This doesn’t suggest or give room for you to be casual in dealing with wrong thoughts. There’s a devil out there trying to send wrong thoughts into your heart through your mind; that’s his job. But you’re to bar his evil thoughts and banish his wayward suggestions by simply saying, “No” to them; erect a blockade against them. God isn’t going to guard your heart for you. The responsibility is yours. But the good news is that you’re not helpless as to what to do. You’ve been equipped with *“...the whole armour of God...”* (Ephesians 6:11), and what you need to do is put it on and never take it off! With your armour in place, you’ll be able to banish every evil thought or contrary idea that tries to assault your mind. Moreover, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 declares, *“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."* *CONFESSION* *I refuse to accommodate unwholesome, unhealthy and noxious thoughts or let the news of fear, poverty, economic meltdown, diseases or death run my life or determine the circumstances of my existence. My mind is guarded by the Word and completely yielded to the right ideas, thoughts, materials, and messages. Therefore, I’m built up, edified and strengthened in the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY:* *Philippians 4:8;* Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. *Romans 12:2;* And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. *1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN* John 10:22-42 & 2 Kings 8-9 *2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN* Mark 12:13-17 & Numbers 25 #CEUYO #SSZ2

Happening Now!!!! All Pastors,Deaconry and leaders meeting with Esteemed Pastor Wale Adenuga #CEUYO #SSZ2

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL _*Educating The Inward Man*_ Tuesday, May 21st . *Pastor Chris* _*And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind... (Romans 12:2).*_ The highest potential of the human nature isn’t in the outward man, but in the inward man, the human spirit. This is why the premium must be on the education of your spirit. The best education in the world is an attempt to inform, refine, and develop the mind through the senses of the outward man. However, it’s the education of the inward man, the human spirit, that ultimately gives light and wisdom, and it’s only achievable through receiving and meditating on the Word of God. God’s Word helps you discover the real you and improves the quality of your life from within. Read our opening verse again and notice that it talks about the spiritual education of the inward man: _*“…be ye transformed by THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND .”*_ Now, in education, there’s practice and exercise. Thus, in educating your inward man, you practise the Word; you practise living, seeing, and relating from your spirit. You refuse to relate to things from a natural or physical standpoint. Remember part of what we read: _*“…be not conformed to this world…”*_ ; meaning you shouldn’t live like them, or think like them, or see from their perspective. Instead, be transfigured and translated by the renewing of your mind; by feeding and nurturing your spirit with the Word, you change the way you think. For example, hitherto you thought you were a failure, but now you think differently, because the Word says you’re a success. You thought you were a mere sinner, failing to please the Lord, but now you think and see yourself as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You have a new mind-set—the mind-set of the righteous which indeed is a result of the education of the inward man. *CONFESSION* _*I have the mindset of the just. I’m positioned at all times to receive direction, inspiration, counsel and wisdom from the Spirit of God! I’m yielded to the guidance of the Spirit; therefore, I walk in consistent victories and triumphs, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*_ *FURTHER STUDY:* *Psalm 16:7 AMPC* I will bless the Lord, Who has given me counsel; yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons. *1 Peter 3:3-4* Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, [even the ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. *Romans 7:22* For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: *DAILY SCRIPTURE READING* *1-Year Bible Reading Plan* John 10:1-21 2 Kings 6-7 *2-Year Bible Reading Plan* Mark 12:1-12 Numbers 24 #CEUYO #SSZ2

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL _*The Inward Man: The Real You*_ Monday, May 20th . *Pastor Chris* _*But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price (1 Peter 3:4).*_ In 2 Corinthians 4:16, Paul clearly distinguishes between the outward man and the inward man when he said, _*“For which cause we faint not; but though our OUTWARD MAN perish, yet the INWARD MAN is renewed day by day.”*_ The one Peter calls the “hidden man of the heart” in our opening verse is the same the Apostle Paul calls the “inward man.” The outward man is the physical body and its five senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste. These senses are man’s medium for relating with his environment. The human body can only receive in formation from this world through its five senses. The inward man, however, is the human spirit and his soul; the seat of his mind, will, and emotions. The “inward man” is the real you. He’s not seen with the natural eyes, because he’s the “man within the man”; the real person living in the physical body. That’s the one who receives Christ’s salvation and relates with God. When you believed and confessed the Lordship of Jesus, it wasn’t your body (the outward man) who was reborn; it was your inward man—your human spirit. When you speak, it’s the inward man that talks through your mouth; he’s the one expressing himself through your physical body. That’s why it’s so important that a man is born again. Being born again is the recreation of the inward man—the human spirit—to become God’s dwelling place; His holy tabernacle. Too many are more concerned about what’s going on in their bodies, the outward man, not realizing that they’re indeed spirit beings. The premium should be on training and educating your inward man because that’s the person and character of your being. The Bible says, _*“The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly”*_ (Proverbs 20:27). The Lord relates with your spirit in leading and guiding you; He contacts you through your spirit, the inward man. Therefore, practise the exercise of educating your spirit, the inward man, with the Word. We’ll discuss this further in our next study. *CONFESSION* _*I refuse to live by the dictates of the flesh; I’m totally submissive to the lordship of the Word and yielded to the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. I live the transcendent life of glory inherent in my spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*_ *FURTHER STUDY:* *2 Corinthians 4:16* For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day. *Job 32:8* But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. *Ephesians 3:16* That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; *DAILY SCRIPTURE READING* *1-Year Bible Reading Plan* John 8:48-59 2 Kings 1-3 *2-Year Bible Reading Plan* John 9:1-41 #CEUYO #SSZ2 #3DOIWITHPLO
