*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8TH 2017* *BELIEVE AND AFFIRM* Pastor Chris Oyakhilome For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10). Man is a spirit being, and not a body. His physical body is his domicile, where the spirit, the real man, lives. Your body isn’t you. Your spirit is the real you, and every human spirit has the capacity to believe; you don’t have to see to believe. This debunks the general assumption that “seeing is believing”; that’s a contradiction, because you don’t have to “believe” what you can see. If you were standing beside a red Toyota car, and there’s nothing wrong with your eyes, you won’t say, “I believe there’s a red Toyota car parked beside me”; you know that such a car is there because you can see it. You only have to believe something you haven’t seen. The word “believe” is the verb of faith, and faith is a noun. The action of faith is believing. So, you don’t say “seeing is believing.” Believing is acting your faith; putting your faith to work. For example, 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.” You have to believe that all things are yours just as the scripture says, then live and act accordingly, even though you’re yet to literally see all things physically in your possession. You ought to believe and voice what you believe. For example, the Bible says, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:14). Having believed this scripture in your spirit, declare, “In Christ I have my redemption; my riddance. He plucks me out of trouble; I’m rid of every pain. I have my riddance from sin, darkness, and from all things that are inconsistent with the life of Christ.” Hallelujah! You believe, and then you affirm. Believing is with your spirit, but the affirmation seals it: “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). *PRAYER* Dear Father, I thank you for the entrance of your Word into my spirit; I believe, and therefore speak that I'm an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ; the world belongs to me. I have no consciousness of lack or need, because the Lord is my shepherd; He’s made me self-sufficient. Blessed be God ! *FURTHER STUDY:* Mark 11:23 Romans 10:8-10 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Revelation 1 Daniel 11-12 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: John 18:28-40 2 Chronicles 17-18

DAILY NUGGETS Maintaining Your Victory Through Gratitude …Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen (Revelation 7:12). One important thing you can give to God is your praise and thanksgiving. In Luke 17:17, Jesus asked the leper who returned to give thanks, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine.” In Matthew 26:27, Jesus gave thanks to God for the cup – His own blood that would be shed! David wanted to show kindness to anyone who was left of the house of Saul, because of his gratitude to his friend Jonathan (2 Samuel 9:7). Elisha prayed for the woman who provided him with food and shelter to have a child – that was his expression of gratitude for the love she had shown to him (2 Kings 4:12-17). Maybe you’re thinking to yourself that there’s particularly nothing to be thankful for; you’re thinking, “After all, I’m sick” “I’m unhappy”; “I have bills to pay.” Well, if you’re a Christian, your life ought to be radiant and full of thanksgiving. Ephesians 5:20 says, “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Your prayers must be filled with gratitude, irrespective of what you feel or what you’re going through. Do not only acknowledge what you can see, rather acknowledge what God has done, because that is what keeps you living a life of gratitude. Give God your praise and thanksgiving today as a demonstration of your gratitude for all He’s done for you. He deserves all your praise and adoration. #cephzone2 #Celebratingourfather

Celebrate Your Inheritance “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord“ (Jonah 2:8-9). Do you know that celebrating your inheritance is one of the best ways of silencing the devil? What does it mean to “celebrate you inheritance”? It means to give thanks to God for the things He’s done for you through Christ Jesus. You can celebrate your salvation, divine health, prosperity, peace, and every other good thing that’s yours by virtue of the new birth. God wants you to always celebrate your inheritance irrespective of your situation. Some folks don’t look out for and celebrate the right things in their lives or in the lives of others. They talk about negative situations such as lack, want, sickness and death all the time. You would always hear them say, “Oh, I think I have a problem in my knee!” “I don’t have enough money.” They’re always looking for, and looking at the problem. Such people are unwittingly celebrating the work of the devil in their lives. How do you celebrate God’s blessings? You proclaim His greatness; you worship and praise Him. You talk about His personality and all that He’s doing in your life. If you can’t think of anything to say at that moment, pick up your Bible and begin to quote scriptures that will build your spirit. This was what Jonah did in the belly of the fish. Jonah was a remarkable man: he was in serious trouble, yet he didn’t panic or complain. His prayer wasn’t laden with regrets or silly questions. He said, “… I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving…” (Jonah 2:9). He celebrated his inheritance right in the midst of trouble. By celebrating, you’re showing the world and the devil that you’re excited about your inheritance. Until you realize how to celebrate God and His blessings in your life, you will not be able to walk in the fullness of those blessings. Stop seeing your lack; stop comparing yourself with someone else and seeing what you think you don’t have! Rather make up your mind today to always celebrate your inheritance in Christ Jesus #cephzone2 #follow@PastorChris #vision400areality #noflourishingwithoutasoul #Dec7

DAILY NUGGETS Rest In His Love! “And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the Father said to his servants, bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat and be merry:” (Luke 5:21-23) This is the picture of the nature of our Heavenly Father. Once you repent and say, ‘Father forgive me’, God is quick to forgive because it is His nature to forgive. The prodigal son’s Father killed the best of His calf to celebrate his return. This depicts God as an ever forgiving and ever loving Father. A father rejoices when he finds his lost child. If a lost child returns to God, He will receive him to establish him in the right path. He will never be anything less in God’s hand, God would place him in his right position – an heir of the kingdom. We are joyful because God is merciful. No matter how grievous a man’s sins are, God will still forgive and forget. There is a confident assurance in us that God never looks out for our faults. Instead of finding flaws, He follows us with His tender presence. Having this kind of confidence in God’s love, comes by acquaintance with Him. If any child of God knows and understands the nature of His Father, he would be joyful at all times, because God does not look at us to destroy us. Rather His love follows us everywhere we go. Indeed, we have a cause to be joyful!

“The Lord Moves When You Move!” — Pastor Chris to BLW Partners Our dear man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc DD emphasizes our place in Christ, inviting delegates to “come boldly to the throne of grace.” “I’ve been in ministry all these years, [and]I have never needed a breakthrough,” Pastor Chris said to delegates in his first plenary session at the just concluded International Partners’ Conference portion of the IPPC 2017. The man of God said this, emphasizing to delegates their privileged position in Christ that makes it such that all they require is to “come boldly to the throne of grace; obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need,” as the scriptures say. Building atop a series that began during the International Pastors’ Conference, Pastor Chris helped the brethren realize that the solution to most of their challenges is to be filled with the Spirit. “The Lord moves when you move, because He lives in you,” the BLW President said to the congregation of saints from around the world, letting them know there’s no reason for the Christian that is filled with the Holy Ghost to ask (again) for a move of the Spirit like one that is disadvantaged Credit (www.christembassy.org) #cephzone2 #thankingpastorchris4ippc2017 #ippcinyourcity

DAILY NUGGETS THEY DON’T COUNT AT ALL – How terrible when all people speak well of you; their ancestors said the very same things about the false prophets (Luke 6:26 GNB) God desires that every one of us be successful. And depending on your level of success, you’ll automatically become a persona non-grata to some; you’ll attract adversaries. This isn’t out of place. Never be worried, downcast, feel rejected or sad if there’re those who are against you, or those who don’t accept or approve of your success. Actually, when you identify those who are against your success, you should be glad! The reason is that this world is so big, with a population in excess of seven billion people. Those who are against you left everything else just to be against you; that shows you’re very important. So, get excited when you’re criticized by your adversaries. There’s something inspiring in what T.L Osborn said several years ago; he said, “When you see a man with many or powerful or influential enemies, mark that man, for he’s going places.” How true! You measure a man’s strength, worth or value, not by his friends, but by the power of his adversaries. You measure a man’s greatness or influence, by the number or power of his enemies. As long as you’re successful, your detractors will have you in focus. Once you’re no longer as radiant or as successful as they think, they wouldn’t care. But you don’t need to bother about them, because they don’t count. When they come out against you, they’ll stumble and fall, because the Lord is your salvation. Never give thoughts and undue considerations to Satan, and the activities of wicked and unreasonable men that seek to bring you down. Understand this: your daily life is the fulfilment of that which has already been written. The Psalmist affirmed, “…When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell” (Psalm 27:1-2). #cephzone2 #follow@PastorChris #thankingpastorchris4ippc2017 #ippcinyourcity
