Job 22:27-38 says, "Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows. Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways". At 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray in tongues of the Spirit for most of both 15min sessions, while speaking faith filled words as prompted by the Spirit. It's the last quarter of 2018, and there is an acceleration by the Spirit for much more glory than we experienced in the first 9 months. Hallelujah! God bless you.

DAILY NUGGETS *MAINTAINING FOCUS IN PRAYER* *_"For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful" (1 Corinthians 14:14)._* One vital element of effective prayer is focussing your mind on what you're praying about. Imagine that someone is praying for the salvation of souls in a particular region of the world. He's interceding that, through the preaching and teaching of the Word, God's righteousness would prevail in the towns, hinterlands, and cities without hindrance. While at it, his mind wanders away, and he's thinking about some nice cars, houses or a meeting he's scheduled with a friend. His prayer would hardly be effective that way, and this happens to a lot of people. Focusing your mind, emotions and entire faculties on what you're praying about is very important, and praying in the Spirit is a great advantage in this regard. When you pray in the Spirit, your spirit prays; your mind is unfruitful (1 Corinthians 14:14). Therefore, it's important that you yield yourself to the Spirit by giving Him your mind---paying attention to Him as you pray. That way, you'll be in sync with Him; His visions, promptings, ideas and thoughts will be clear to you. Praying in the Spirit gets you synchronized with God's will, His purpose, and timing. But your mind has a role in this; you must get your thoughts together as you pray in tongues. You might say, *"As much as I try, I just can't help it; my mind keeps drifting as I pray."* Maintaining focus in prayer is something you do consciously. Your mind is a tool. You'd have to discipline your mind to think in the direction of your prayers, and switch it back to that thing you're praying about. If it wanders again, bring it back until your mind gets the message. In prayer, arrest your mind; channel your thoughts and emotions in the direction of the Spirit, and you'll receive the ministrations of the Holy Spirit.
*⭐A Refreshing Thought Today⭐* Tuesday, 4 September 2018. There’re things you don’t need to petition God to make happen, once you’ve acted on the Word or on a spiritual principle. For example, when you read Mark 4:26-28, He didn’t say after sowing into the ground, the man fasted and prayed for the seeds to grow; no! Rather, he went to sleep; and of their own accord, the seeds grew and produced fruits. You don’t need to “pray” to God to make a law work which He already instituted. Laws, any kind of law, when applied rightly, would produce the requisite results. Likewise, if you misapply them, they’ll work against you. #GivingAndReceiving #Rhapsodyinspirationalthoughtstoday✍️
*⭐A Refreshing Thought For You Today⭐* Sunday, 26 August 2018. There’s no other way to learn about, receive, or understand the righteousness of God outside the Gospel. Romans 1:16-17 says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. *For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith…"* Being born again, we haven’t only become righteous, but have also become the unveiling of God’s righteousness. *Righteousness has become the character of your spirit.* The ability to be right, and to do right—the ability to perform righteousness—is inherent in your spirit. *#LifeAndRighteousnessThroughTheGospel *#Rhapsodyinspirationalthoughtstoday✍️*
DAILY NUGGETS *MEDITATION WITH CELEBRATION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC D.D* *This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success* (Joshua 1:8 AMP). You can make your way prosperous, deal wisely and have good success in every area of your life, and the key to making that happen is meditation on the Word: meditation with celebration. You can literally set a time for your prosperity and promotion. You can tell yourself, *“In the next two months, I’m going to achieve a higher level of success,”* and it’ll be so, if you’d meditate on God’s Word. Meditation has three levels. *The first level is when you quietly ponder over the Scriptures, speaking and muttering them under your voice. At this level, it’s quiet; someone close to you may not even hear you; however, it drives the Word deep into your heart.* *The second level is when you speak the Word aloud, not for the benefit of those who may be present with you, but for your own benefit. In fact, you may be in your room, or any private place, but you’re talking the Word out loud, causing it to gain the ascendancy in you, and drown all negative thoughts.* The third level of meditation is actually the highest level, and that’s our focus in today’s study: it’s meditation with celebration. It’s when you shout or *“roar”* God’s Word in celebration of your victory. It’s likened to the roaring of a lion at his prey; a roar of joy and celebration: *“Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it”* (Isaiah 5:29). *At the third level, you’re shouting the Word in celebration because you know that you’ve got the victory! Come what may, nothing can take it away from you! You know that you’re more than a conqueror; an eternal victor in Christ Jesus! Practice this.*
DAILY NUGGETS *A LIFESTYLE OF REST - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.SC D.D * Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things (Matthew 6:31-32). Many today are burdened with stress and anxiety. They’re worried about their work, family, business, finances, etc. God doesn’t want that for any of His children. Worry sets before you a magnetic force that attracts things that are consistent with it. It has its fears, fears of negative possibilities. If you keep worrying about losing your job, for example, soon enough you’ll lose it. The cure for worrying is to stay your mind on God’s Word. Philippians 4:6 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” So, rather than worry, ask and receive whatever you require, and live in the consciousness of His victory, grace and excellence in the different areas of life! Anything short of a life of absolute rest, joy, and fulfilment in Christ Jesus, isn’t God’s best for you. Hebrews 4:3 says, “For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” This is very powerful and touching. God finished all His works from the foundation of the world before He made man, and now He’s at rest. He’s not working or creating new things today nor is He modifying the things He already made. He’s seated in heaven, not pacing and wondering what else needs to be done. This is the kind of life He’s given us; a life free of struggles. The Bible says, “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief” (Hebrews 4:9-11). Living in God’s rest is one of the blessings for the new creation, and the way to live in it is living by faith in God’s Word. Embrace the Master’s invitation to a stress-free life, and live accordingly. He said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).
