POWER THROUGH OUR HANDS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch (Acts 5:12). There’s an enormous release of divine power when we stretch or lift our hands in prayer. The Apostle Paul said, “I would that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” (1 Timothy 2:8 ). When you lift your hands up to the Lord in prayer, you activate the heavenly powers and make them available on your behalf. So much happens in the realm of the spirit when God’s people stretch or lift their hands in prayer, and some have wondered, “Why is this so?” You see, your body extremities, such as your fingers, are spiritual points or openings; they’re spiritual vents for either entrance or exit for the Spirit. When we stretch our hands, the anointing is released through our hands. The anointing isn’t the Spirit; it’s the Spirit that gives the anointing, and the Spirit lives in you. He transfers or imparts the anointing through your hands. The anointing is a special power. It’s the power of God that heals, delivers, removes burdens, and causes people to prosper! The anointing destroys the yoke of bondage, and opens doors! You have something to give; you have something to transfer to others, or to cause a change in your environment and in the regions beyond. The Bible tells us that by the stretching forth of the hands of the Apostles, many signs and wonders were wrought amongst the people. This means as they stretched forth their hands, hopes were restored; burdens were lifted; sicknesses and diseases were healed; destinies were mended, by the power of the Holy Spirit! The same Spirit is in you today. The blessings of God for others can be released through your hands. Perhaps you’re in a Church service or in your cell group or fellowship meeting, and a call is made to stretch your hands in prayer, towards someone, a group of people or a particular direction; do so with knowledge and the understanding that there’s power released through your hands. #perfecting #wehavemoved #perfection #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #truth #thankyoupastorchris #loveworld #grace #heavenly #alignment #completeness
PROCLAIM THE WORD TO EVERYTHING AROUND YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Jesus didn’t send us to preach the Gospel to human beings only; He said, “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” That’s quite instructive. It means you can proclaim the Word to anything and everything around you, because everything in life has intelligence. Everything God made can hear and recognise His voice. Jesus proved this true. Once, He spoke to a tree and it withered from its roots (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21). Perhaps your car has been grounded; if you’d talk to it; if you’d release words of power to that car, before long, it’ll be back on the road. Maybe your house and everything in it is getting old, you can call forth a renewal. Declare, “House, in the Name of Jesus, you’re renewed.” Walk through the rooms and prophesy that new furniture, decorative items, electronics, etc., are coming in the Name of Jesus! Many haven’t come to that point of prophesying and speaking the Word to everything around them; so they complain. Don’t complain; proclaim the Word. Maybe you only have one pair of shoes; instead of complaining to God about it, declare, “I invoke the blessing of God on this shoe, to bring forth a harvest.” Then, give it to God as an offering. Before long, you’ll have more than enough shoes for yourself and to give as gifts to others. You might ask, “Is it really that simple?” Sure it is! The principle is clear; Jesus said, “…Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” (John 12:24). Proclaim the Word to your seed; your money and the things you own. Speak to your offerings to the Lord and say, “You’re coming back in a multiplied harvest, in the Name of Jesus; I release you with the blessings of God.” Don’t cry for the lack of money; don’t cry about something you don’t have; put the principles in God’s Word to practice and you’ll surely have a testimony. STIR UP YOURSELF – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20 AMP). You may have wondered how come there’re some Christians who are often intimidated or overwhelmed by the circumstances of life. They easily become afraid when challenged by unpleasant situations, thereby making themselves vulnerable to the fierce attacks of the enemy. The reason for this is not that such believers don’t have faith, for every Christian has been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). But the real problem is that many who find themselves in such situations have allowed the power of the Holy Spirit lie dormant in them. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” So there’s no question as to whether or not the power of God is in you, for it is! But you must stir up that power within you continually, otherwise it will be inactive. You’re to make that inherent ability and divine energy in your spirit available for use anytime you want. That power is stirred as you meditate and talk the Word, and, as you pray fervidly in tongues. God expects us to function in the earth with His power. He wants you to learn and know how to activate His power in you as much as He wants you to learn about faith and how faith works. When you study 2 Timothy 1:5-6, you’ll discover something striking. Right after the Apostle Paul commended Timothy, his grandmother Lois, and his mother Eunice for their unfeigned faith, he charged Timothy to stir up the power of God in him. There, Paul was talking about the power of the Holy Sprit that Timothy received when he (Paul) laid hands on him (Read 2 Timothy 1:5-6). This means it’s possible for someone to have faith yet have the Holy Spirit’s power remain latent in his spirit. Most of the attacks the devil launches against people are either against the body or the soul. So that power shouldn’t only remain in your spirit. You have to stir it up until it inundates your soul and permeates your physical body. That way, you’re able to ward off whatever attack satan launches against you. When you’re stirred, the anointing will surge through every fibre of your being; from your spirit, to your soul, and your body. There’ll be an influx of the power of the Holy Spirit into your mind, will, emotions, and it will move through your whole body, causing you to be immune to the vices of the enemy. #stir #wehavemoved #talkingsession #perfection #rhapathon2020 #loveworld #affirmationtrain #flourish #glorious #completement #alignment #heavenly #strengthened #thankyoupastorchris

PERFECTION IS POSSIBLE BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Some people, because they haven’t been accurately taught the Word, believe and hold on to wrong teachings and ideas for many years. That something sounds nice and religious doesn’t mean it’s consistent with God’s Word. For example, there’re those who say, “We’re never going to be perfect. As long as we’re in this physical body, we’re going to sin; we’re going to keep making mistakes.” But this isn’t what the Bible teaches. Many of those who have such beliefs got it from their own experiences. They think everybody else is making mistakes somehow, because they’re making mistakes in their own lives. So, they don’t believe in perfection. But the problem is that they don’t know what perfection in Christ is. When you study the Word, there’s no place that suggests to us the impossibility of perfection. We read in our theme verse: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” The word, “perfect” is the Greek, “teleios,” meaning “full grown”; complete and nothing lacking. In this verse, God wants you to measure your heart with the heart of God. And the way to do this is through the Word. When you think, love and forgive others as God wants you to; when you have the heart of the Father, that’s being perfect as He is perfect. If we couldn’t be perfect, God would never require it of us. Inspire those around you by the excellence of your life, and the perfection with which you do what you do, through the Spirit. The Bible says He’s called us to “glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3). That means He’s called you to excellence; therefore, living an excellent life is native to your spirit. Believe in perfection, for that’s your life and nature in Christ Jesus. The Bible says He died to present you sin-free and perfect before the Father: “And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight” (Colossians 1:21-22 NKJV). #theyearofperfection #completeness #favoured #excellence #alignment #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #higerlife #gospel
JESUS CALLED ME BY PASTOR BIODUN LAWAL. My name is Pastor Biodun Lawal. I am the Zonal Director of Christ Embassy Accra, Ghana and I want to thank our man of God, our pastor, our coach and our father for the opportunity to share my salvation testimony with you. I title it, Jesus Called Me. I was born and raised in a Muslim home, my parents were Muslims. I was trained as a kid to go to Quranic School and on how to lead prayers in the mosque as well. I grew up as Muslim learning the things that a young Muslim should do. As at that time, my parents had a lot of Christian friends and at the age of five my parents allow me to follow their friend's children to church (Sunday school) and that was my first encounter with Christianity. All the things that we were taught at Sunday school didn’t make sense to me then because I only followed the children to go and play. Then suddenly, my parents stopped me from attending the Sunday school because they had wanted me to focus on their religion which is Islam. They were so passionate about that because they wanted to raise me as a good Muslim. When they stopped me, I didn’t feel bothered because I knew then that I was not supposed to be in church as a Muslim, but that was my first encounter with Christianity. After that, I didn’t go to any church till I graduated from university and I was posted to do my national youth service in Nigeria. We normally have what we called the national youth service where every graduate from the university has to go and do their service and I was posted to the North-Eastern part of Nigeria, the city of Maiduguri in Borno state to serve. To me that was very good, I loved it because I thought within myself that now I am going to the north to meet the real Muslims and to learn the real Islam. Fortunately for me I was posted to lecture in a polytechnic and in that polytechnic we had a Corper’s quarter where all the youth Corper’s lived and among all of them, I was the only Muslim there, all the others were Christians but I didn’t bother because I had already made friends with a lot of lecturers who were Muslims in the school and I followed them to mosque and stayed in their company but any time I returned to my quarters my friends that were Christians tried to show me a lot of things about Christianity but I didn’t use to border about it because I was more interested in learning more about Islam. Something happened while I was there doing my national service and that changed my mindset, my conception and my attitude towards Islam. At that time there was a religious riot that took place in the northern part of Nigeria and I was a witness to it and I saw the way the Muslim fanatics were killing people, murdering people, maiming people, rendering so many people homeless and destroying so many lives, I was shocked to see that kind of behavior, that kind of wickedness coming from this people and I began to ask myself questions, I became ashamed to identify myself with them because I couldn’t imagine a human person killing another human person in the name religion, I became so ashamed of myself and I began to question this religion (Islam). There were so many questions in my heart that demanded answers so I was looking for answers. Apart from looking for answers, there was this emptiness in my heart, this deep hunger in my soul to know the truth and to know more about God. I had a lot of Christian friends in the quarter who used to tell me about Christianity but I never listened to them. So I began to give attention to what other people are saying and this continued and I became more interested in hearing other people’s opinions about God till I went back home. Getting back home, the question was still in my heart, I still remembered the wickedness, the behavior and attitude of these Muslim fanatics, how they killed so many people and I was not happy about it at all. Remember I went to the north to serve because I thought I will learn about real Islam and be with real Muslims but when I saw what real Islam was about and what real Muslim was all about I had a change of attitude. So when I got back to the house I was no longer comfortable about going back to the mosque even though I used to go to the mosque once in a while, I began to stay indoors, then one day I saw a bible, a Gideon’s Bible, how it entered into my room till today I don’t know and I can’t say how that bible entered into my room, but I saw that bible and I began to read that bible. Remember, I told you I had so many questions about God so I said to myself let me look into this bible maybe I will find the answers there. I began to read and study the bible and something strange happened to me. I began to have dreams and see people ascending to heaven. Before then Jesus started appearing to me in my dream, I started seeing Jesus in my dream, started seeing people ascending to heaven and I was on earth looking at them ascend to heaven, many times I tried to grab their legs but they will leave me behind and I saw myself crying in the dream then Jesus spoke to me. Anytime I woke up from such dreams I go back to my bible and study more. So I stopped going out and stopped playing with my friends, 24 hours I will be indoors studying. My parents began to wonder what was wrong with me, they will come to my room often and ask me what the problem was, whether I was sick, whether I was ok, I just told them I was ok and that I wanted to be indoors. Then one day as I was studying the bible I decided to go and study the book of Revelation, think about it, so I opened to the book of Revelation just to read and have an idea because I had so many unanswered questions, what will be the signs of the end times, what was on God’s mind, as a young Muslim boy I had so many questions so I went and studied the book of revelation. In reading the book of Revelation, I saw so many things that surprised me, baffled me and made me more afraid, I saw that Jesus is coming again, I began to see the fire and brimstone and the hale and the punishment that will come to the wicked. As I studied I began to see many people running away from the judgment that is about to come to the world. I began to ask myself questions that, if this judgment happens how will I escape it. Then I came to one conclusion that if I am going to have a life of true peace “I am using the word peace because Islam prides itself in true peace”, it can only be by Jesus Christ. Then on 15th December 1992, on a Tuesday night, I knelt beside my bed, alone in that room with the consciousness of Jesus Christ, I gave my life, my heart, and soul to Jesus Christ and I made Jesus Christ the Lord of my life. From that night I never entered the mosque again and I stayed indoors. My dad came into my room one day and saw me reading the bible, he didn’t say anything, he went back to the sitting room and he sent for me. I had already made up my mind on the day I gave my life to Christ that, anybody that compels me to go back to Islam, I will fight the person👊😀 So I went to the sitting room and my dad said to me “ I have been coming to your room and I have seen you read the bible, you have stopped going to the mosque, I hope you are not a Christian, I looked at him eye bore to eye bore then I said to him, dad I am no longer a Muslim, I am now a Christian and I will never enter the mosque again. He was surprised and shocked not knowing what to do or what to say. He only said ok, if that is what you want that is ok and he never asked me again till today. After I gave my life to Christ, there was now the question of which church to attend because I had never been to church since I was raised in the mosque. I had this friend who was a family friend as well, we were born together and raised together but he had already become a Christian. So the next day after giving my heart to Christ I went to his house but I was told he had gone to church, I went there again I was told he had not returned from the church, I went there again in the evening and he was still not back from church. His house to my house is about 30 minutes walk, so I went home and came back to his house around 11 pm because I was hungry for something, I went to his room but he was sleeping so I tapped him and whispered to him that, I will like to follow him to church on Sunday, then I left like that. Then the first thing in the morning he ran to my house and asked me whether he heard something from me yesterday, was he dreaming, did I say I was following him to church, I said emphatically yes, he was so happy, he was shouting and rejoicing. On 20th of December 1992, I stepped into Christ Embassy, my friend brought me to Christ Embassy and I have been in Christ Embassy ever since then, I have not stepped into any church, I have not gone to any other church to hear the word of God and that’s why I want to thank my pastor, my father and my life coach, my prophet and my apostle, Pastor, thank you so much for all your investments over all this years in my life, everything I know in the bible you taught me, you raised me and you imparted me so much with your anointing. Thank you so much, Sir. I love you. [Happy birthday To Pastor Biodun Lawal From the #AffirmationTrain Team. HIS SEAL OF PERFECTION IS ON YOU BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10). Never accept anything contrary to what the Word says about you. If you’re experiencing weakness, doubt, discouragement, and other negativities in your life, don’t accept them. Your life is for the glory of God; you’re God’s workmanship, fashioned for excellence. You’re born of God, for glory and for beauty. Read 1 Peter 2:9 (AMPC) and shout for joy! It says, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” The Word of God is for doing. When you read a scripture like this, you must respond. You declare, “I’m the crowning beauty of God’s creation; the consummation of His work! My life is full of the glory, beauty, wisdom, and perfections of God, and I manifest these to my world!” God created you for His glory, and not for poverty, sickness, disease or failure. You’re His excellent handiwork; how could anyone think of you as a failure? God wouldn’t, and couldn’t make anything that fails, let alone you. You’re God’s workmanship, meaning you’re the best of you that there is and could ever be! The Bible says, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18). You’re the first and the best of everything God made; you’re peculiar. You can whip any giant and beat down any mountain, because you’re God’s workmanship; He’s confident in your ability to always win in the crises of life because He knows His product. His stamp or seal of perfection is on you, certifying perfect health; you’re immune to satanic attacks; you’re “poverty-proof!” You’re without blemish. Therefore, give no room to anything that’s not of God in your life. Blessed be God! #theyearofperfection #completeness #favoured #excellence #alignment #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #higerlife #gospel

GLORY IN A DRY LAND ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). The Lord testified of David that he was a man after His own heart (Acts 13:22). When you study about David, you’ll discover he was so passionate about the glory of God. The pursuit of his soul was to have and to see the glory of God. In Psalm 63:1-2, he said, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.” What a declaration! He described the land as “a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.” “Water,” in this context, typifies the Spirit of God. “A dry and thirsty land” typifies a place that’s destitute of the Spirit of God; a desolate land. David saw in the visions of God that in the sanctuary of God, there’s glory, and there’s power; so he yearned to see the same glory in a land destitute of the Spirit of God. That tells us something; it makes no difference what obtains in the city or nation where you live or the demons in that particular region that hold sway over men’s lives; you can seek the manifestation of the glory of God in that place. It doesn’t matter the wickedness that has festered or the hunger, depravity, terror, and fear that have kept men in bondage; in that “dry and thirsty” land, you can establish the glory of God. You do this through intercession and proclamation of the Word. Get filled with the Spirit and proclaim the Word over such countries, regions, cities, and towns. Don’t be quiet; keep at it until the anointing wells up in you to proclaim the Word of God that’ll change things. Under that unction, declare with boldness that the glory of God in the Gospel of Christ fills that land. Soon enough, the light of God’s Word that brings salvation, deliverance, and prosperity will shine brightly in those hitherto dark regions, and there’ll be a great harvest of souls. Hallelujah! #blessingsinthanksgiving #favoured #lima #awards #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #higerlife #gospel #excellence
