DAILY NUGGETS Expand Your Horizon; Jesus Taught Us How To Receive. Jesus gave the most profound teaching on the subject of faith. In Mark 11:24, He said, “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” In this Scripture, He showed us how to pray and how to receive answers at the same time. However, too many Christians have stayed on one side of that scripture all their life–they’ve only learnt to pray, but haven’t learnt to receive. They believe in praying alone, and that will not change anything. We need to know what to do to receive the answers to our prayers. THE PRINCIPLE OF RECEIVING Jesus said, “…what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE THAT YE RECEIVE THEM, AND YE SHALL HAVE THEM.” Jesus is teaching us how to receive in the latter part of this scripture. He’s showing us the principle of receiving. In Matthew 7:8 He said, “Everyone that asks receives.” In John 15:16, He lets us know we’re chosen and ordained to receive answers when we pray: “I have chosen you, and ordained you …that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” Jesus never lied to anyone. He was always clear and succinct in His communication and never evasive. He said what He meant and meant what He said. On this occasion, He said, “Everyone who asks, receives. Anyone who seeks, finds. If only you will knock, the door will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8 TLB). DAILY NUGGETS GOD IS WITH YOU UPHOLDING YOU Isaiah 41:10 *"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’* It is easy to say, “Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!” when times are good. It is easy to believe that God loves you when you are on the mountain top enjoying the sunshine. But what happens when you are down in the dark valley surrounded by your enemies? Perhaps today, you are in the valley of marital, financial or bodily trouble, and you are asking, “Where is God?” My friend, He is right there with you. The God of the valleys says to you, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” When King Jehoshaphat was surrounded and outnumbered by his enemies, the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel and he said to the king, “Don’t be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you. Don’t fear or be dismayed. Tomorrow, go out against them for the Lord is with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:14–17) What King Jehoshaphat did next was brilliant. He acted with wisdom from on high. Instead of putting his commandos in front, he put worshipers in front! What did the worshipers sing? They sang of God’s love for them—“Praise the Lord for His love endures forever!” And God utterly destroyed their enemies! (2 Chronicles 20:21–23, NIV) Beloved, it is not the trials that make us strong, but our responses in those trials. The devil wants us to respond by asking, “Where is God?” But God wants us to respond with faith in His love for us. We are more than conquerors not because of our love for Him, but through Him who loves us. (Romans 8:37) So whatever valley you are in today, don’t be afraid. God is there with you strengthening and upholding you. Just sing of His love for you and let Him fight your battles for you! *Thought For The Day* It is how we respond during trials—with faith in God’s love for us—that makes us strong. #cephzone2 #follow@PastorChris #vision400areality #noflourishingwithoutasoul

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. TUESDAY. JULY 25th 2017. WORK HIS POWER TO THE MAXIMUM. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). It’s not unusual to find Christians who think that what they need is more power or more anointing. They’ve read in the Bible of how people brought their sick so that the shadow of Peter could come upon them and be healed. They’ve also read of Paul, from whom handkerchiefs and aprons were taken and laid on the sick, and they were healed. So they pray, “Lord, I need a double portion of the anointing, to minister like Peter and Paul.” What Paul did was to impart the anointing into those clothing materials. However, that anointing didn’t come from heaven; it was in Paul, because he had the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit came to live in you, He came as a person to make His home in you. He didn’t come to give you a part of Himself; you’ve received the Holy Spirit without measure. That was the difference between the Messiah and the prophets of old. John 3:34 says “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.” Upon the prophets came the Spirit, but the Bible tells us the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus for the purpose of living in Him. That’s the same thing about you; the Holy Spirit came upon you that He might live in you, and He’s in you now. Sometimes, the presence of the Holy Spirit could be imparted to you, maybe by the laying on of hands. But until and unless you make contact with the person of the Holy Spirit inside you and walk according to His power at work in you, that impartation won’t last for long; it’s the reason many are always looking for another anointing. Don’t ignore that which God has put in you.Does He give you more power? No! He’s already given you all the power you could ever need—Himself! He’s power personified. You’re the one to work His power in you to its maximum. The Bible says, “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon the mall” (Acts 4:33). From where did they get great power? Jesus didn’t say, “You shall receive great power”; He said, “But ye shall receive power ,after that The Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). They got all the power they needed from the power-giver inside them. They activated that power for whatever they needed. So, recognise and put the power in you to work. PRAYER Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the presence of your Spirit in my life , which has ushered me into a life of unending blessings. I take advantage of the miracle-working power of your Spirit in me, Therefore, I walk in greater manifestation of your blessings, healings, prosperity and power in Jesus ' Name . Amen . DAILY NUGGET THE GRACE TO EXCEL Every Christian has the grace to excel in everything. God is able to direct all the grace you require for anything in this life towards you, such that you’re never behind in competence or ability. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:8 that ’’And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work…’’. You’re qualified for any task; that’s what it means to have “all sufficiency in all things”; it means you have all the competencies and special skills required for excellence in every good work. The word translated “sufficiency,” in this context, is the Greek “autarkeia,” which means competence. This indicates a state of self-sufficiency whereby you require no aid or support. God has given you a life that makes you so competent that you don’t require any help! This can work vitally in your life. You can be sufficient in all things; competent in all things. You can be competent in your job, family, academics and daily pursuits. There’s another word translated sufficiency in 2 Corinthians 3:5, this time, the Greek word used is “hikanotes,” and it means ability: “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God….” This means that the ability of God has been made available to you. No wonder Paul the Apostle crescendos in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” You too have been specially enabled to live supernaturally to the glory of God, because it says your sufficiency, your ability, your ‘hikanotes’ is of God. Refuse to function with your human ability; rather, function with divine might. That’s what you’re going to do throughout this year: use supernatural ability. You can do all things through Christ! Make this your confession every day. Never say, “I can’t.” Change your vocabulary. Even now, begin to say, “I can walk,” “I can do the job.” “I can perfect it.” “I can do anything.” “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” _____________________________________ FOLLOW PHZONE2 SUPERUSER ACCOUNT FOR MORE INSPIRING ARTICLES. #cephzone2 #follow@PastorChris #vision400areality #noflourishingwithoutasoul #monthofexpansion

DAILY NUGGETS I MAKE THINGS HAPPEN! I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). The Lord once said to me, “I don’t want something good to happen to you, and I don’t want something bad to happen either.” He said, “If you’re still living at that realm where you still think something good is going to happen to you, then you’re not living a mature Christian life.” So I asked, “What then is going to happen, since I should expect neither good things nor bad things to happen to me?” Then He said, “Make things happen”; “You happen!” Think about it: Could anything good or bad ever happen to God? Did you ever read in the Scriptures that God was happy because something good “happened” to Him? Or that He was sad because something bad happened to Him? He doesn’t function in such a realm. He makes things happen. In the same way, you’re a child of God, made in His image, born after His kind; you belong in His class. So, you shouldn’t have anything “happening” to you; instead, you should be the one happening. Satan, the adversary, may come around and try to make things “happen” to you but the Bible says you should resist the devil and he’ll flee (James 4:7). He can try all he wants to, but he’s no match for you; you’re superior to him; therefore, he can’t make anything “happen” to you. It doesn’t matter how many demons are roaming around, trying to stir your nest; they’re not a factor; you have authority over them all in the Name of Jesus. Being born again, you have the ability of Christ in you to determine what you want in your life. Therefore, never allow yourself to be a victim of circumstances. Keep reigning in life. Apply faith in God’s Word to deal with situations and challenges. Subdue, tame, and rule your world for Jesus Christ. Keep making things happen in the Kingdom of God. _____________________________________ FOLLOW PHZONE2 SUPERUSER ACCOUNT FOR MORE INSPIRING ARTICLES. #cephzone2 #follow@PastorChris #vision400areality #noflourishingwithoutasoul #monthofexpansion
