The Quality of Our Work Must Last for Eternity - Pastor Lanre Alabi At the ongoing ICLC 2019 where delegates are being pumped with the word for greater exploits, esteemed Pastor Lanre Alabi, the Director of Church Growth International brought every leader's attention to an important and vital aspect of the work in his message titled 'Building for Eternity.' Pastor Lanre showed from scriptures that all we do for the Lord will be tested by fire, and as such, our work must last. The quality of our work must last for eternity. Citing 1 Corinthians 3:6-15 (KJV), the Director of Church Growth International shared on the importance of making lasting impact from the verses below. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Will your work survive? Teaching further, Pastor Lanre shared on 5 things to consider in building a lasting work for the kingdom. 1) Build with the Word. Luke 6:47. Let the foundation be upon the rock. Nothing builds like the word. You can't build on philosophy or ideas. Acts 20:32. Truth is consistent. 2) Build with love for Jesus. It purifies your motives. The effort you're putting in must be based on the love for the Master. 2 Corinthians 5:14-16. Spread the agenda of the Master. You're not motivated by vain glory. What's your motive? Let the motivation not be offensive to God. Hebrews 6:10. God doesn't forget your labour of love. 3) Build with the Spirit. John 6:23. You can't offer spiritual things to God without it. 4) Build with the consciousness of value. We're talking about lives that you're building. How much can you sacrifice to build them? Have and express good value for those God has trusted you with. Nothing will be too much. Revelation 1:5. Acts 20:28. You're an overseer of those purchased with the blood of Jesus Christ. People matter to Jesus. The ministry is about people. Will the time people spend with you add to their eternity? Don't let it be counted as a loss. What becomes of those that encounter you? Add value and have value for them. 5) Build them to be Soul Winners. Daniel 12:3. Guarantee their eternity this way. 6) Build with our materials, structure and followership. This will produce results that last. Do everything decently and in order. Raise them to be like our man of God. He ended his message with comforting scriptures letting the leaders know that the Lord is with us all the way. He has started this good work in us and will perfect it, and He is able to keep us from falling. Glory to God! For more updates on ICLC 2019, follow this Superuser and visit www.loveworldpress.com. Remember, We're Doing This For The Master - Pastor Chris In concluding his message on the various mysteries recorded in the Bible, Pastor Chris reminded the delegates the reason we do what we do. "Take this word inside you. I'm a vessel. I'm a good place for the sowing of the word. I've got a listening ear and an understanding mind". Pastor explained that the eyes is the light of the body and that light is that which makes manifest. He noted that Jesus Christ is the Sun of Righteousness and dived into an expose on the two great lights, the sun and the moon citing relevant scriptures. Genesis 1:15-16 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Psalms 136:7-9 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever. "When the Sun of Righteousness shall come, these two lights will cease to give light. Jesus shall be the light. Behold He cometh with the stars, that will be the soul winners, the shining stars. He's coming. Our work will soon be done. We're moving faster and faster". In an emotion laden voice, Pastor Chris reminded the leaders to "remember we're doing this for a reason - our love for the Master. He's the One that has given us everything that we require. Everything. If you're not experiencing this, stop struggling. Change your way of thinking. Relax. Let the struggle stop". Pastor continued "introduce to yourself a carefree mind. No consciousness of need. Like a child. I can see the world of needs and wants, but, I don't give them chance, I repel them. I don't have a need. I refuse to think about not having money to do what I need to. Worry thoughts are not part of me. Jesus told me not to think like men. I've got it". It is getting better with every session with our dear Man of God, Pastor Chris. Glory to God! For more updates on ICLC 2019, follow this Superuser and visit www.loveworldpress.com. We're Finishing Strong - Reverend Tom Amenkhienan Delegates at the ongoing International Cell Leaders Conference (ICLC) were treated to a very insightful teaching Thursday night by Rev Tom Amenkhienan who shared a message titled “The Terminal Generation”. Rev. Tom warned on the importance of knowing where we are in God’s calendar. He said that it started with the prophets and now we are the ones on the scene. It has been from the Acts of the Apostles to the Acts of the Saints, he said. According to him, we now live in a day where so much is expected of us, warning that the rapture is getting closer. Referencing the book of Hebrews 11:39-40.”, and these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect”. Referring to the title of his message, Rev. Tom noted with great certitude that “We’re taking the race to the finish line. It’s our time. Paul took the ministry to the next level. We’ve got the opportunity and enablement and the burden to do much more “.To buttress that fact, he made further reference to the book of Revelation 22:10 and 1 Corinthians 7:29 before reading – 1 Corinthians 7:29-32 from the Amplified Bible: “The appointed time has been winding down and it has grown very short. “From now on, let even those who have wives be as if they had none, And those who weep and mourn as though they were not weeping and mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy as though they did not possess anything, And those who deal with this world [overusing the enjoyments of this life] as though they were not absorbed by it and as if they had no dealings with it. For the outward form of this world (the present world order) is passing away. My desire is to have you free from all anxiety and distressing care. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord –how he may please the Lord”. Rev. Tom reminded the Delegates that our remaining time is short and that we should make good use of our opportunities and be free from worry. “Go and win souls in any and every situation. Go and win souls. David said Send us around the world with the message/news of your saving power and we’re the answer to that prayer” he admonished. The Cell Ministry is God’s School – Pastor Vale As expectant delegates gathered on the first day of ICLC 2019, they received mind transforming words from the Director of Calabar Ministry Centre, Pastor Vale Odu Thomas who shared extensively on ‘The Cell System as a Universal Success Strategy’. During this session, Pastor Vale charged everyone in the Loveworld Nation to be a part of the Cell Ministry. He rightfully cited himself as a true representation of the success of the cell ministry, and gave credence to the cell ministry for raising and training him, thereby making him a continual success in life. “The Cell Ministry is God’s classroom. The Cell Ministry is the training tool of God. If you want to be the best banker God will train you in the cell ministry not in the bank.” Explaining further, esteemed Pastor Vale showed from the bible that the Cell Ministry is scriptural; as such, every Christian has the responsibility of doing the word of God and should therefore see the Cell Ministry as a mandate that must be fulfilled. Our Exceptionalism is Not a Joke – Pastor Joy Amenkhienan Thursday night of the ICLC was rhapsodizing with the esteemed Pastor Joy reemphasising the importance of our ministry materials in a message titled “Raising Disciples Using Ministry Materials”. She started by reminding the thousands of delegates on the importance of our ministry materials. “People live by the information around them. When they join us, their mindsets are changed using our ministry materials. Train up a child in the way he should go, when he grows up, he’ll not depart from it. “ She also emphasized the importance of ministry materials and highlighted platforms where these materials can be introduced to the brethren. They include the ministry’s online platforms, the foundation school, water baptism classes and Pastor Chris Digital Library (PCDL), amongst others. “Expose your members to all our materials and let them share with others. Organize book reviews. Lives are changed with these materials”. Throwing more light on how the Ministry Materials change lives, esteemed Pastor Joy shared unforgettable testimonies on the impact of Ministry Materials in the lives of people. She concluded by charging the cell leaders to “organize programmes with these ministry materials. God has multiplied Himself via these materials. You’re what you eat. All Pastor Chris' messages have ability to change lives. Reculture people into full maturity. Change your members minds through exposing them to the right information”. Focusing On Jesus Keeps You Out of Trouble – Pastor Chris The 2019 ICLC continued on the right momentum Friday morning when Pastor Chris expounded more on the message he started the day before. Admonishing the delegates, Pastor Chris spoke on the role and importance of adhering to instructions saying that it is in the interest of members to adhere to instructions from their pastors and leaders. He gave example with Hagar, pointing out that inspite of the mistreatment she received from Sarah, the Angel of the Lord still advised her to remain obedient to Sarah. According to Pastor Chris, it is not enough to do the right thing, do it in the Lord’s way and with a perfect heart. “Don’t be in the midst of the congregation of angry people. Rebellious people reproduce their type”. Pastor went on to explain how rebellious and uncontrollable parents in villages and government raise children who become rebellious in churches even when some are Deacons and Pastors. Reading from Proverbs 1:10 which says “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not”, Pastor admonished delegates to stop living for themselves but to unto God. You Are Sealed By God – Pastor Chris The Christian is sealed by God Himself through the Holy Spirit. This declaration was made by the Man of God Pastor Chris Oyakhilome as he continued to unveil Great Mysteries of the Kingdom of God to delegates at the ongoing ICLC 2019. Great truths from the word of God on the realities of the divine life of a Christian. Pastor Chris took the thousands of delegates to a higher spiritual awareness as he quoted copiously from the Bible to emphasize that the Christian who has been filled with the Holy Ghost is actually sealed by God. This, according to him is just like Jesus was sealed at His baptism by John Baptist, when the voice of God spoke from Heaven confirming His authority. He further reminded the delegates that “as Jesus spoke to all of nature and they responded to His instructions after the seal, no Christian should be a victim of the world’s failing systems.” According to him “We should not run in fear. We reign in life and our lives should not be limited by worldly systems”. Speaking on the boundless, inexhaustible, incalculable riches of Christ, Pastor Chris’ teaching was interrupted by rapturous ovation and visible excitement from the delegates. Pastor Chris said: “The reason many are struggling and are broke is because they are struggling to be a part of a failed system”. He encouraged the participants to be conscious of the seal of God on them. He said because of this, “The world should not lock you into a box. Because you have the seal, you can stand before anything. Don’t mix fear with your faith. Give no room to fear because you are sealed”. It was indeed a glorious session that was packed with higher realms of revelation. For more updates on ICLC 2019, follow this Superuser and visit www.loveworldpress.com. #iclcdaily #loveworldpress
