PERFECTED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry… (Ephesians 4:11-12). Our righteousness is of God, therefore it’s perfect. We didn’t have to qualify by ourselves; Jesus Christ qualified us before the Father to become partakers of the divine nature; to become partakers of His righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” How inspiring this is! Some Christians haven’t understood this; so, they see themselves as unrighteous and imperfect. But if you’re born again, you’re a saint, and that’s your nature because the One who gave birth to you is perfect. Hebrews 10:14 says, “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” Colossians 2:10 says, “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” The word “complete” means perfected; you’re perfected in Him; Christ is your perfection. You might want to ask, “Doesn’t our opening scripture suggest that the saints are not perfect, because it talks about “the perfecting of the saints?” No, that verse doesn’t mean making the saints better and more perfect; it’s translated from the Greek word ‘katartismos’ which means equipping or training the saints for the work of the ministry. Think about this: When a child is born, that child is born as perfectly human as the parents are. The child then starts growing by feeding on the right nourishment. The child needs to be trained and equipped with knowledge and the right information, to eventually function as adult humans do. That’s what Apostle Paul meant by “perfecting of the saints.” As you receive the Word of God into your spirit, you’re being equipped to function and carry out the work of the ministry; you’re being trained in the life of righteousness. The righteousness of God is in your spirit, but through the Word, you become more skilled in the doctrine, understanding, and application of your righteousness in Christ. #walkinginthelight #seasons #songs #vision #monthofsongs #leadership #empowerment #gospel #illumination #victory #greatness #talkingsession #righteousness #affirmationtrain
#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN 18TH FEBRUARY. I affirm that I am triumphant, victorious, prosperous, and successful in all things. My life is for the glory of God, and His righteousness is expressed in, and through me. I am seated with Christ in the place of authority, over and above all principality, power, and the rulers of the darkness of this world! My life is garnished and beautified by the Spirit of God. Christ lives in me; He’s my righteousness, my glory, and my beauty. His life and nature in me makes me invincible and triumphant! I am healthy, strong, excellent and vibrant! I manifest the character of Christ to my world. Hallelujah! As Jesus is, so am I; I am one with Him! In Him, I live, and move and have my being. I have His righteousness, life, and nature in me. I am the effulgence of His glory and the express image of His person. Therefore, I think, act, and live as His perfect representation. Hallelujah! I am not ordinary; the Word of God is alive in me. I am making progress and profiting in all areas of my life through the Word. I am flourishing like the palm tree, luxuriant and luscious like a well-watered garden. I am fruitful and productive, bearing fruits of righteousness, and pleasing the Father in all things. Blessed by God. Hallelujah! THE SHOUT OF VICTORY ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1). Our opening verse is talking about the shout of victory. Some people shout out of fear, but in Christianity we shout in victory. We shout unto the Lord with the voice of triumph. It’s like the shout the children of Israel gave in conquering Jericho. As they journeyed to the Promised Land, they got to Jericho, but the city was shut with thick and imposing walls (Joshua 6:1). The Lord, however, gave Joshua the strategy to conquer Jericho. It was the “shout strategy”: And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall SHOUT WITH A GREAT SHOUT; AND THE WALL OF THE CITY SHALL FALL DOWN FLAT, AND THE PEOPLE SHALL ASCEND UP EVERY MAN STRAIGHT BEFORE HIM” (Joshua 6:2-5). When the people did as the Lord instructed, the walls came down flat (Joshua 6:20). Some people don’t understand it when we shout; it’s spiritual. The Bible tells us about Jesus, that He shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). It’s like the kind of shout He gave at the tomb of Lazarus; the Bible says He yelled with a loud voice, “..Lazarus, come forth” (John 11:43). Lazarus, having been dead, and buried for four days, already believed to be putrefying, came out of the grave alive! When we shout in victory, the enemy is discomfited; the dead come back to life. Some people only shout out of fear; and that’s the wrong shout; ours is the voice of triumph. We shout ahead of the battle; ahead of the challenges; therefore, when they come, they’re walkovers. There’s no victory without a shout. When you face challenges, shout, not in exasperation, but in triumph. Even when you’re not happy, shout! Even now, shout aloud with the voice of triumph; it’s an act of faith. Shout and declare that you’ve won. The future can depend on your shouting; so don’t keep quiet; shout your victory. #perfection #alignment #excellence #greatness #autoedification #kingdom #completeness #thankyoupastorchris #benefits prayathon2020 #prayingnow
#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN 17TH FEBRUARY. I affirm that I am in God's place for my life! The Spirit of God has enlightened the eyes of my understanding through the Word, to see and receive every good thing that belongs to me in Christ Jesus. As I see them, I call them real and walk in the reality of God's manifold and eternal blessings. Fear has no place in me; for God has not given me the spirit of fear but of love, power and of a sound mind. I am bold to act my faith; I function with the ability of the spirit today for the Spirit of God is working in my life and causing me to have divine courage and confidence. I live joyfully today and always, knowing fully well that all of God's promises to me in Christ Jesus are yes and amen; I am living in the realities of my inheritance in Christ. Christ dwells in my heart by faith, and I am rooted and grounded in love. God's Word is in my heart and in my mouth; and as I think and meditate on the Word today, the circumstances of my day align with the will and purpose of God for me! I attract myself only to thoughts that are consistent with my destiny in Christ-thoughts of victory, increase, success, health, and strength. I am fully aware that the quality of life that I live is based on the faith-filled words that I utter. I hold fast to the profession of faith without wavering, therefore, I declare that my life, health, family and finances are consistent with God's Word. Glory to God. Hallelujah! He appointed the Twelve, whom he named apostles.*He wanted them to be continually at his side as his friends,* and so that he could send them out to preach and have authority to heal the sick and to cast out demons. Mark 3:14-15 TPT #BE12IN3Challenge #HospitalMinistry #cesazone4
