A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling". At our prayer times today, we'll pray fervidly in tongues of the Spirit, and also pray specially for the protection of children and youths in schools and campuses around the world, from violent and wicked men & women. PERFECTION IS POSSIBLE BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Some people, because they haven’t been accurately taught the Word, believe and hold on to wrong teachings and ideas for many years. That something sounds nice and religious doesn’t mean it’s consistent with God’s Word. For example, there’re those who say, “We’re never going to be perfect. As long as we’re in this physical body, we’re going to sin; we’re going to keep making mistakes.” But this isn’t what the Bible teaches. Many of those who have such beliefs got it from their own experiences. They think everybody else is making mistakes somehow, because they’re making mistakes in their own lives. So, they don’t believe in perfection. But the problem is that they don’t know what perfection in Christ is. When you study the Word, there’s no place that suggests to us the impossibility of perfection. We read in our theme verse: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” The word, “perfect” is the Greek, “teleios,” meaning “full grown”; complete and nothing lacking. In this verse, God wants you to measure your heart with the heart of God. And the way to do this is through the Word. When you think, love and forgive others as God wants you to; when you have the heart of the Father, that’s being perfect as He is perfect. If we couldn’t be perfect, God would never require it of us. Inspire those around you by the excellence of your life, and the perfection with which you do what you do, through the Spirit. The Bible says He’s called us to “glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3). That means He’s called you to excellence; therefore, living an excellent life is native to your spirit. Believe in perfection, for that’s your life and nature in Christ Jesus. The Bible says He died to present you sin-free and perfect before the Father: “And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight” (Colossians 1:21-22 NKJV). #theyearofperfection #completeness #favoured #excellence #alignment #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #higerlife #gospel
PASTOR CHRIS DECLARES 2020 AS THE YEAR OF PERFECTION. The year 2020, is a special year. Not because it is 2020, no, not because we are starting a new decade. The year is special because of the plan that God has for us. God lives in eternity. We live in time and time is a segment of eternity. Genesis 6:9 KJV These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. Genesis 17:KJV And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2020 IS THE YEAR OF PERFECTION! Perfection is a word that terrifies a lot of people. We have been told all our lives that no one is perfect. They train us to accept our imperfections. In the scriptures, God never said perfection is impossible. On the contrary, perfection is what God desires and demands. Perfection is at different levels. Perfection means to be FLAWLESS, COMPLETE. Look at the Scripture God told Abraham to walk before Him and be perfect. He wants him to be flawless. We produce perfect stuff, perfect devices, perfect machines. This should let you know that perfection is possible. Here's another thing. Job 1:1 KJV There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; AND THAT MAN WAS PERFECT AND UPRIGHT, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Look at verse 8 God is addressing the devil and he said 8 KJV And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, A PERFECT AND AN UPRIGHT MAN, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Let's hear Jesus just in case you are thinking these are old testament. Matthew 5:48 KJV Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Jesus said so, imagine a child when he is born, he can't do anything for himself; but this baby is as perfect as anyone else. Ecclesiastics 3:14 KJV I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Whatsoever God made lasts forever. I once prayed for some people and one of them was blind. After I prayed, I asked if any of them had been healed and none raised a hand. I when back to my seat and asked God what happened? God told me that the blind man was healed. I met him and he claimed he still can't see and I told him that he was healed. We argued for some time. Then I told him to stop saying he can't see. I asked him to look a few times and he began to see. He left there healed. He could have left that meeting still blind. God's Word is truth. Truth is different from fact. I am a perfect being from a perfect God. 4 THINGS THAT ARE NECESSARY: 1. ALIGNMENT There is going to be an alignment. It's a training. There will be an alignment of your will and purpose with God's purpose and will. 2. COMPLETENESS. It from the Greek Plerul. It means to be full. You will be full of God's word. When this happens, you will be amazed at what will be produced. I will be full of God's Word in 2020. God's Word will dwell in me richly. 3. EXCELLENCE. This will bring you into that ultimate position. Excellence is not something you struggle for. It's your nature. I have an excellent Spirit. Live your life every day and think just like this. Ephesians 5:1KJV Be ye, therefore, followers of God, as dear children 4. TELESPHORI Luke 8:14 KJV And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. This means to come to fruition. It means to come to the state where it produces results. It's like a pregnant woman who carries her baby to the time of birth. It's the year of perfection... There will be an alignment, completeness, excellence... for the Name of Jesus has been named upon you... you're blessed today... You're blessed with His love... You're blessed with His grace, you're blessed with His kindness... Hallelujah! There will be no aborting of your ideas. You will produce results with your ideas. In 2020... No abortion of your plans. They will all come to fruition. You will bring your babies to fruition. #theyearofperfection #completeness #favoured #excellence #alignment #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #higerlife #gospel
