RIGHTEOUSNESS SPEAKS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach (Romans 10:6-8). The phrase “the righteousness which is of faith” in the verse above is a rather interesting one. It’s rendered in the original Greek as “the ‘of faith’ righteousness,” thus, giving personality to the word, “righteousness”; and that righteousness, he says, “speaks.” “The ‘of faith’ righteousness” speaks. So, righteousness talks; it doesn’t keep quiet. Often, we say, Christianity is for talkers; we speak righteousness, just as we speak wisdom. The righteousness of God is the truth of God; it’s the reality concerning any situation. So when we affirm the Word, we’re speaking righteousness, we’re speaking God’s language of faith. Romans 10:9 tells us how the “of faith righteousness” works. It says, “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” The word, “confess” is from the Greek “homologeo,” which means to speak the same thing in agreement. It means affirming the Word of God in agreement with God; not merely repeating it exactly in the same words, but making your own affirmations in agreement with His Word. If you’d confess or affirm the same things that God has said about you in His Word, they’d become real in your life. For example, 2 Corinthians 3:5 says, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” You ought to, on the basis of what God has said, declare, “I’m sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I’m up to any task. I produce excellence and works of righteousness, because Christ is my ability and sufficiency.” That’s speaking the righteousness of God, the rightness of God about who you are, and what you can do in Christ. #monthofsongs #wehavemoved #blessings #perfection #talkingsession #loveworld #affirmationtrain #songs #prayathon2020 #europaforjesus #prayingnow #thankyoupastorchris

AFFIRMATION ACTIVATES THE POWER OF THE WORD ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6). There’re two different aspects of salvation: the legal and the vital aspects. The vital aspect of salvation is activated by your confession; it only works when you say it; while the legal aspect requires acknowledgement. In Romans 10:9, we see the confession or affirmation principle as the very basis for salvation. It says, “…if thou shalt confess (declare, profess, announce, affirm) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved....” Salvation only becomes real when you make the confession of the lordship of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 12:37, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” When you confess, affirm or proclaim the lordship of Jesus Christ, you’re translated from the domain or kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son (Colossians 1:13). Affirmation of the Word is an important principle in the Kingdom of God. God has spoken His Word so that we can take that Word and affirm it boldly. That’s our faith-response to the Word. He said whatever He said that we might respond. Your confession or affirmation is that response, and it activates the power of God’s Word in your life. #monthofsongs #reflection #alignment #excellence #prayathon2020 #perfection #instruction #autoedification #salvation #consciousness #thankyoupastorchris #path #affirmationtrain #talkingsession

#TALKINGSESSION 28TH JANUARY. KINDLY DAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD. Blessed Lord Jesus, You’re my life, and my all; the very air that I breathe: my lover and best friend. Thank You for Your wisdom that guides me, and Your grace that is superabundant upon me. Your Word has transformed me, causing me to ride upon the high places of the earth. Thank You for the excellent life that I have in Christ! I am planted on the rock that is higher than I am, Christ Jesus! Therefore, I am not moved by circumstances. I am a victor forever because Christ is my riddance. He rids me of any trouble and leads me triumphantly from glory to glory. Christ is the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge, and He lives in me. There’s no limit to my knowledge. Through meditation, I dig deep into the recesses of my spirit, activating the wisdom and knowledge in me, for witty inventions. I’ve received abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness; I am reigning in life, over and above the corrupting influences of this world: sickness, lack, and everything that limits. The grace of God is multiplied in my life through the knowledge of the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. • Keep saying it, publish it everywhere; noise it abroad! HE CHOSE ME AND I'VE NEVER STOPPED LOVING HIM REVEREND RAY OKOCHA. I grew up in a religious home like most homes are in Nigeria. My parents made sure we all went to church - the Roman Catholic Church. I was very devoted and committed to the church and her activities I even joined the Saint Jude's Society at an early age. I went through the motions of religion not really knowing God or the reality of His word. I believe my parents tried to raise us the best way they knew. They had plans for me as the first child. I was to follow the path of the medical profession as they wanted me to study to become a medical doctor. This may have stemmed from the fact that my mum was a nurse. As a young boy at this time, I did not know anything about God's plan for me. I even thought that born again Christians or 'SU' (Scripture Union) as we called them, were weird people. My Dad had told us of stories of some of his classmates in the University who were born again and that these ones always failed in their academic works. We were all ignorant of the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. My parents relocated to the oil-rich city of Warri in Delta State, Nigeria. Thus I had to change schools and began to attend Urhobo College, Effurun, a school notorious for having tough and rascally students. In my second year in the school (I was in my fourth form at this time), I noticed a classmate who fitted the description of these weird people - the SUs. He didn't talk much with the rest of us but seemed a little put off with the way we did things. We respected Brother Charles (that was his name) but we didn't relate much to him. One day, Brother Charles invited me to a fellowship during the long break hour. I accepted his invitation and went to the meeting just to be courteous. In the meeting, he told us of his vision he had about the end time - specifically, the coming of the Lord. I wept throughout the message as it dawned on me that I was neither born again nor ready for the Lord's return. At the end of the message, he gave an altar call for those who were not ready for the Lord's return. I went out and said the prayers as directed. Suddenly, I felt a heavy load lift off my heart! Things were never going to be the same again. I was born again; I had received eternal life and God had become my Father. This new relationship with God was far removed from religion. I knew I was a different person. I became very hungry for God's word and wanted to spend time with Him. My parents began to notice a change in me. Although I was a 'good boy' at home before this time (good enough not to go to the drunkard's hell on a banana peel😀), there was something different about me. I began to tell all my friends about my salvation story and invited them all to join me in this new-found life. As I continued in my Christian walk, I discovered that there was something more. My new friends in the fellowship were always talking about the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. Oh, how I wanted this spiritual experience! I bought books on the Holy Spirit and receiving the Holy Spirit. On a fateful day, while still in secondary school, having been instructed to spend time fasting, I went with two friends to pray (they are both ministers of the Gospel presently). They laid hands on me and I received the infilling of the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues. Wow! It had finally happened! As I grew in the word, I was no longer satisfied with the spiritual nourishment I was receiving in my church. I stopped attending that church and this action started a 'war' at home. I graduated from secondary school and immediately got admission into the University in November 1984. As I got into school, a classmate of mine who was a brother introduced me to the man of God, Pastor Chris. The moment I shook hands with him, I knew I was connected to him. He looked like Jesus and everything about him fascinated me. I followed him to his room on campus. And I have been following him ever since... • Friends, we invite you to join us as we celebrate this great general in the Army of the Lord. Reverend sir, we all love you dearly. We join the host of Heaven and the beloved Saints of the Loveworld nation to celebrate you. Happy birthday sir🎁🎉
