𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 AS A SAINT AT WORK bit.ly/WithRhapsody "The work of the ministry is for every Christian." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of July 22, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, charges you to work for the Lord and win souls everyday. WE READ: God’s idea and expectation isn’t just for some of us to be effective in the work of the ministry, while some others in the Church are spectators. The work of the ministry is for every Christian. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:18, “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and HATH GIVEN TO US the ministry of reconciliation.” Notice the underlined: God gave US—not just the apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors—the ministry of reconciliation! No one is left out in this. His purpose in teaching us His Word is for us to be raised to live the Kingdom life; to subdue this world and establish His righteousness in the earth and in the hearts of men. As we carry out the work of the ministry, the world will wonder at the life of glory, success, victory and prosperity exuding from us. This is because we’re His ambassadors; the light in the midst of darkness. This is the time for those around you who don’t have the divine life to wonder whether you’re an angel, as you minister the Gospel to them in such power and demonstration of the supernatural. They said the same of Stephen in Bible days (Read Acts 6:15). The preceding verse 5 says Stephen was a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost; he was neither an apostle nor a prophet. He was made a Deacon in the early Church, being full of faith and power and the wisdom of God. This is your time to shine ever so brightly with the light of the Gospel, bringing men and women into the Kingdom. Everywhere you are, let men see your good works and glorify your Father, who is in heaven. As the Bible says, “...the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising” (Isaiah 60:3). In other words, as you manifest Christ everywhere, bearing the truth of His glorious Gospel, they’ll turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Hallelujah! Glory to God forevermore. Do more with rhapsody bit.ly/WithRhapsody #KINGINGᴡɪᴛʜPᴀsᴛᴏʀUʏɪ 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧
𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 IN THE NAME OF JESUS bit.ly/WithRhapsody "Cast satan out any day, anytime and anywhere by using the Name of Jesus." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of July 31, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, reiterates that no Christian should be afraid of Satan. WE READ: One important truth every Christian must understand is that Satan and all his demons have been thoroughly, and completely dethroned and defeated by Jesus. So, no Christian should be afraid of Satan; he’s not a factor. Think about the fact that the very first thing Jesus said we could do in His Name is casting out devils; it shows just how much Satan has been paralysed. Even if you only gave your life to Christ moments ago, you have authority over Satan and can cast out demons. That’s because being born again, you have the life of God and the righteousness of Christ; you have the authority of Jesus. Therefore, keeping Satan in check isn’t a question of how long you’ve been a Christian or how “spiritual” you think you are; it’s about Jesus and the authority He’s given you to walk and live in His Name. Satan has no right to run things in your life, in your home, city, nation, or in the lives of your loved ones; cast him out! Exercise your authority in Christ over him. Cast him out any day, anytime and anywhere by using the Name of Jesus. When you address Satan in the Name of Jesus, he responds as though he’s hearing directly from Jesus. You might ask, “What if the demon doesn’t go when I try to cast him out?” That’s not an option if you’re doing it in the Name of Jesus; when you have the consciousness of what that Name represents. Understand this: we walk in His Name, and walking in His Name is recognizing the power and authority of His Name; living with the consciousness of what His Name represents. Philippians 2:9-10 says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” You couldn’t know this and be negotiating with demons; you cast them out! No devil can stand the Name of Jesus; they know what that Name represents because they are aware that in hell, Jesus spoiled principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). Hallelujah! Glory to God forevermore. Do more with rhapsody bit.ly/WithRhapsody #KINGINGᴡɪᴛʜPᴀsᴛᴏʀUʏɪ 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧
"Then Asa went out against him, ..." 2 Chronicles 14:1-10-15. He did not cower and beg or go into hiding. Reminds me of what Pastor said: "... You have to have the courage to make a fight" "... You prepare for war in a time of peace." We are the Church. We've been trained. We're ready. #KINGINGwithPastorUyi FOLLOW THIS SUPERUSER ACCOUNT.
𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 ALIGNED WITH GOD’S VISION bit.ly/WithRhapsody "You’re a light in a dark world; therefore, be aglow with the Gospel of Jesus Christ." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of Aug 5th, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, reiterates that you should make your life count in soulwinning! WE READ: Some people live their lives pursuing their own selfish interests, not aligning themselves with God’s vision. What’s God’s vision? It’s that men come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Therefore, connect your dreams to His dream; and purify your motives with His love. Soul winning should be the compelling motive and propelling force in your life. You’re first a Christian before being a politician, teacher, banker, student, etc.; therefore, fulfil your calling in the Gospel. Let the expansion of God’s Kingdom be your number one passion. Therein lies true joy, fulfilment and all the blessings you could ever desire. There’s a depth in God, a realm of joy and fulfilment you’ll never know until you make your life count in soul winning. Jesus said in Mark 16:15, “...Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” In Matthew 24:14, He said, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” The instruction to take the message of salvation to the ends of the earth wasn’t just to pastors and evangelists, but to every Christian. You’re a minister of the New Testament (2 Corinthians 3:6); a bearer of the glad tidings of salvation. You’ve been commissioned to reach out to those living in darkness with the light of salvation. You’re a light in a dark world; therefore, be aglow with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Beam it with steady radiance to others so they can become lights as well. You’re God’s man for the hour, holding forth the word of life—opening the eyes of them that are lost—turning them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Glory to God forevermore. Do more with rhapsody bit.ly/WithRhapsody #KINGINGᴡɪᴛʜPᴀsᴛᴏʀUʏɪ 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧
𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 WITH THE KINGDOM IN YOU bit.ly/WithRhapsody "The Gospel today is that God’s Kingdom can be set up in the hearts of men." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of Aug 4th, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, reiterates that all of divinity has been set up in your heart! WE READ: Jesus came preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. He said the time was fulfilled, and that the Kingdom of God was near (Mark 1:15). What is the Kingdom of God? The Kingdom of God isn’t a place; it’s the reign of God, where He rules as Lord, and expresses Himself—His glory and His goodness. That’s why Jesus cautioned that when we’re told, “the Kingdom of God is over there,” or “it’s over here,” don’t believe it, because the Kingdom doesn’t come by observation; it’s within you (Luke 17:20-21). God’s plan in this age is to set up His Kingdom in the hearts of men as a spiritual kingdom. Recall when Jesus was brought before Pilate, in John 18:36-37; Pilate asked Him some questions to which He responded, “…My Kingdom is not of this world…” (John 18:36). God’s Kingdom isn’t a physical structure; yet Jesus said, “It has come!” Indeed, it has, because it’s in our hearts. The Gospel today is that God’s Kingdom can be set up in the hearts of men; it has arrived! Jesus said, “…If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). This wasn’t provided in the days of Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, David, Solomon and the patriarchs of old; but it is in our day. When Jesus came, He brought the Kingdom in Him. Now that we’ve received Him, we have the Kingdom in us: the glory, grace and the life of God—all of divinity has been set up in your heart! God is at home in you now. You’ve become, not just a citizen of the Kingdom, but also the bearer or carrier of the Kingdom, of divine verities. Hallelujah! Glory to God forevermore. 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 BECAUSE YOU HONOUR THE NAME OF JESUS bit.ly/WithRhapsody "His Name only works for those who honour Him as Lord." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of Aug 17th, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, admonishes that you must honour the Name of Jesus for His name to work in your life. WE READ: Jesus is head over all things; He’s the head of all principality and power. His Name has power in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth. Everything responds to His Name. Demons bow to His Name and scamper in terror; contrary circumstances are changed at the mention of His Name. You have to learn to honour His Name for its power to work for you, in you, and through you. Your result, or how much that Name works for you is to the extent that you honour it. Honour, primarily, means to show respect to, towards or for. Honouring the Name of Jesus means giving recognition to Him, and serving Him as Lord. His Name only works for those who honour Him as Lord. For instance, there’re sinners who agree that the Name of Jesus is the greatest Name, but they don’t serve Him; they aren’t following Him. As a result, the Name isn’t working for them. In the same way, as a Christian, you have to be subject to the Lord Jesus. Honour Him in your life for His Name to work for you. God said in 1 Samuel 2:30, “…them that honour me I will honour….” Jesus said, “…if any man serve me, him will my father honour” (John 12:26). Glory to God forevermore.
