It may not be spontaneous. You can't keep pushing the word of God aside. Our heavenly Father wants us to desire more of the word. 2. WALK WITH THOSE WHO LOVE THE LORD The kind of friends you should have ----> 2 Timothy 2:22 TLB "Run from anything that gives you the evil thoughts that young men often have, but stay close to anything that makes you want to do right. Have faith and love, and enjoy the companionship of those who love the Lord and have pure hearts." If you make worldly friends, you will become worldly. Don't get attracted to things that will get you more worldly. Run away from it, don't pray about it! 3. BE FILLED CONSTANTLY WITH THE SPIRIT Romans 12:11 NIV. Don't pray that God will give you zeal, you be zealous. 1 Thessalonians 5:19. Maintain the glow! There's a spiritual glow in your life and He wants you to maintain it. There are things to do to maintain the glow ---> Ephesians 5:18-20 Those who are filled of the Spirit are always full of Thanksgiving. In every situation, they see the light of God. 4. REACH OUT TO WIN SOULS It's your life's work. If you are not winning souls, you are not growing spiritually. This is God's number one job. Proverbs 11:30. As a soul winner, every day of your life is full of activities of angels. Make the effort, don't wait for someone to come your way first. Jesus came to seek the lost and not to wait for the lost. 5. CULTIVATE A HABITUAL PRAYER LIFE You can't inherit a prayer life. It's cultivated through discipline. People who love the Lord love to win souls and love to pray. These are 2 characteristics of those who love the Lord. If you move with people like that, you will wind souls and love to pray. Have the friends that love to pray and be a praying person. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 You have to learn to set a time. There are 2 ways to do this: a) One way is about you praying because there are things you should pray about and you set a time for that. b) You can choose certain times of prayer so that you can be a discipline praying person whether or not you have something to pray about. Learn to set definite times of prayer, how long you plan to pray is a discipline. 6. SET YOUR MIND ON SPIRITUAL THINGS If you don't set your mind it will keep going everywhere and mostly on the wrong things. At certain times you should not multitask with God but rather give him your full attention. Proverbs 4:20-22 Colossians 3:1-3 Romans 8:5-9 Create a spiritual environment for yourself. Listen to messages and read books. You can memorise scriptures. 7. BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE LOCAL CHURCH Acts 2:42 there are 2 types of meetings, the general assembly which is the whole church meeting and the group meetings. Do you belong to an group in church? Without being an active member of the local church, you are unlikely to grow spiritually. It's compulsory and important for every Christian. Don't let anybody deceive you that not important. God has spiritual families and these are in form of churches. When you are born again, he guides you into the church where you will be fed the Word of God and groomed to become sound and strong for Christ. Hebrews 10:25 NIV/AMP/TLB Review all these 7 and don't lack in any of them and you'll see your life move higher and higher only. #YourLoveworld #usar1z2
