ATTEND TO HIS WORDS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings (Proverbs 4:20). The world today is experiencing tougher times and greater challenges as the end of all things draws nearer (1 Peter 4:7). The economies of many nations are either in recession or at the brink of it. Businesses are collapsing, and life is more difficult today for many than it used to be. However, as one who’s born again, your focus must be on the Lord and His eternal Word. Refuse to be anxious about anything (Philippians 4:6). You must always remember that though you’re in the world, you’re not of the world; you’re from another kingdom—God’s Kingdom. The Lord Jesus already said, “…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). The problems in the world aren’t set against you. When you face trials and tribulations, do so with the mindset of a victor—the mindset of one who knows he already has the advantage; and the Word of God is that advantage. The Word of God has the ability to take you through any situation unscathed. What God requires of you is that you give yourself completely to the Word. Be confident in the integrity of God’s Word. Isaiah 43:2 says, “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame Kindle up on thee.” Have this consciousness. In the midst of the trouble, affirm like David, “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want; He makes me lie down in green pastures” (Psalm 23:1-2). Declare like Paul, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Exclaim like John, “Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world” (1 John 4:4). Refuse to allow circumstances to condition or constrain you to speak lack, defeat, weakness, or fear. Affirm with gusto, “I’ll never be a failure; I’ll never be broke; I’m born to reign and rule in life!” You’re not being boastful or being braggadocious when you talk that way, you’re simply vocalizing your faith and confidence in the Word. You’re affirming the reality about you on the basis of God’s Word. Make the Word of God your focus and you’ll always be a success. #theyearofperfection #songs #alignment #wehavemoved #2daysofblessings #excellence #glorified #strengthened #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #loveworld #love #thankyoupastorchris #productivity #revelation #knowledge

POWER THROUGH OUR HANDS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch (Acts 5:12). There’s an enormous release of divine power when we stretch or lift our hands in prayer. The Apostle Paul said, “I would that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” (1 Timothy 2:8 ). When you lift your hands up to the Lord in prayer, you activate the heavenly powers and make them available on your behalf. So much happens in the realm of the spirit when God’s people stretch or lift their hands in prayer, and some have wondered, “Why is this so?” You see, your body extremities, such as your fingers, are spiritual points or openings; they’re spiritual vents for either entrance or exit for the Spirit. When we stretch our hands, the anointing is released through our hands. The anointing isn’t the Spirit; it’s the Spirit that gives the anointing, and the Spirit lives in you. He transfers or imparts the anointing through your hands. The anointing is a special power. It’s the power of God that heals, delivers, removes burdens, and causes people to prosper! The anointing destroys the yoke of bondage, and opens doors! You have something to give; you have something to transfer to others, or to cause a change in your environment and in the regions beyond. The Bible tells us that by the stretching forth of the hands of the Apostles, many signs and wonders were wrought amongst the people. This means as they stretched forth their hands, hopes were restored; burdens were lifted; sicknesses and diseases were healed; destinies were mended, by the power of the Holy Spirit! The same Spirit is in you today. The blessings of God for others can be released through your hands. Perhaps you’re in a Church service or in your cell group or fellowship meeting, and a call is made to stretch your hands in prayer, towards someone, a group of people or a particular direction; do so with knowledge and the understanding that there’s power released through your hands. #perfecting #wehavemoved #perfection #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #truth #thankyoupastorchris #loveworld #grace #heavenly #alignment #completeness

TOMORROW OUR PRAYER AND FASTING BEGINS....... 29TH - 31ST DECEMBER 3AM - 3PM DAILY. PARTICIPATE WITH US! BELOVED GUARD YOUR VISION. Be sensible and don’t tell everything you know… (Proverbs 12:23 CEV). . When you walk with the Lord, He gives you visions for your future; visions about your life, the things He wants to accomplish with you and through you. He causes you to see into the future so you can head for that future. Everybody may not see what you see, or know the future God is guiding you into. But some people try to tell everybody what God is showing them about their future. That’ll be a mistake, except if He’s the one leading you to talk about it. Understand that Satan doesn’t know what you see, until you tell him; he doesn’t know everything. When he hears about what you see, then he starts scheming how to work out a plan to try to stop you. There’re people who, because they couldn’t keep certain things to themselves, lost the beautiful idea they received from the Spirit. Once they got the idea for something, they started telling people about it, and Satan got wind of it and devised means to stop the idea from materializing. Don’t give him that chance. Our theme verse says, “Be sensible and don’t tell everything you know….” Don’t always tell your plans to non-Christians. Whatever idea God gives you, get started with it first before talking about it; or else you may never start. It’s not because the people that know about your vision or even the devil can stop you; no. It’s because there’s a spirit that works with them; they may exude a certain kind of negativism that could dampen your zeal for what God wants you to do, if you’re not careful. So, be spiritually smart. The Bible says, “Watch your words and hold your tongue; you’ll save yourself a lot of grief” (Proverbs 21:23 MSG).

CHILDREN AND PARENTING Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome DSc, DD. That attitude of giving child a tablet while service is on to be playing games so they don't disturb you is a time bomb! You are saying to them, its OK to not concentrate in church, you think you are trying to concentrate and don't want them to distract you but you are giving them a mindset. It will form an attitude towards trivializing spiritual things in the future and by then it may be too late to correct.. Don't ever think they do not understand what's going on while the service is on, these children play very complicated games better than adults! If they can understand that, they can understand what Paul calls "The Simplicity of the Gospel" The gaming can wait! Another thing I find ludicrous is Parents who give their children "loose change" for offering but spend heavily on their lunch just after the service is over.. There again you are saying, God doesn't deserve anything big. You see that's how you breed Atheists! That's how you raise Adults who think the Holy Ghost is a Gut Feeling! Who think tithing is making the pastor a big boy! Train up a child in the way he should go.. When he is old he will not depart from it I may never be able to subscribe to all the parenting modules my Parents used for us while growing up, but you see this love for God? They got it right! My Father made sure we never missed a single midweek service while growing up. No matter how tired we were from school, he insisted, he compelled! Today, look what that training has done to me! Isaiah 28 vs 10 says "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little" Simple things are what form Character! God bless you.
