(The Word oF His Grace) The Word of His grace is His Word about Christ, His redemptive work in our behalf; who we are today, what we have and where we are today, as a result of His death, burial and resurrection.
“Joseph was a prosperous man,” even as a slave (Genesis 39:2). He didn’t have to have a salary to be prosperous. He was the seed of Abraham, and that was all that was necessary. He had his dream in front of him, and he knew who he was. He functioned in divine grace. Hallelujah!
(Restored) Before Christ came, all men were under the curse of sin, and were therefore subject to Satan, condemnation, sickness, disease, poverty and death (Romans 3:23). This was the consequence of man’s fall in the Garden of Eden.
When you were born again, a new life was introduced into your spirit, and the human life with which you were born of your earthly parents ceased to be; it was supplanted by the life and nature of God! It’s not something that can be figured out in the laboratory; it’s spiritual.
(Truth is Divine) The Word of God transcends all cultural, ethnic or national barriers. It doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free (John 3:16).
How Sad! Saul was given the grace of leadership and anointed as king over Israel. This happened “when he was little in his own sight,” according to the Bible (1 Samuel 15:17). But as a result of his pride, he was rejected by God from being king over Israel (1 Samuel 15:26). Sad!
(Marriage Relationship) Jesus extensively taught on the principles of our heavenly Kingdom. For example, in Matthew 19:5 and Mark 10:7-8, He acknowledged the union of one man and one woman as the standard expression of human sexuality in a marriage relationship.
Now that you’re in Christ, you have the life and nature of God. You’re a different kind of being. And according to the Bible, you don’t have two natures; your old nature was crucified with Christ (Romans 6:6). You have another life, the resurrection life, inside you now.
