PRAY FOR MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL AROUND THE WORLD: Colossians 4:2-4 says, "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak". 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God". Following our prayer schedule for this Month of Prayer, today we’ll pray fervidly in tongues of the Spirit, and specially for ministers of the gospel around the world, in accordance with the above verses of scripture. Pray that new doors of opportunity for ministry be opened to them, and utterance be granted them to proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ unhindered, without fear or reproach, but in power and effectiveness. Pray for ministers who are facing severe persecutions, that they be strengthened to stand firm in all the will of God; and pray for the deliverance of those imprisoned for their faith in Christ Jesus. God bless you.

IT'S OUR MONTH OF REFLECTION. CHANGE THE OLD ORDER! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:18-19). From time to time, it’s important to review the way things have been going with you and determine the areas in which you’ve got to do things differently. You can’t do the same things you’ve been doing, in the same ways you’ve been doing them and expect different results. Even God at some point, said “I will do a new thing” (Isaiah 43:19). He gave the Israelites strict laws to follow, which they couldn’t. He thundered at Mount Sinai and they ran away from Him in fear! Finally, He changed the order, and won us over with love: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). So, get this straight today, if you want something different from what you’re experiencing now, you’ve go to take some radical steps and do things differently. You’ve got to change the old way of thinking and employ new ideas. Perhaps at work you’ve been noted as being the tardy employee, and now you’re expecting to have sterling recommendations and promotions from your bosses. First, you’d have to change the old order. Start practising getting to work early; learn to sit down and finish your work in time, and be excellent at your job. Or maybe you don’t pray and study your Bible regularly as you should, yet you’re expecting to come out victoriously in life – that won’t happen, until you change things. Right now, list out those areas where you need to make a change, and consciously write out the new steps your going to take to effect the change you desire, and then go for it! Don’t leave those things merely on paper; make them part of your personal development project and before long, your situation would have changed for the best. #NCVZ1 #REFLECTION #MonthofReflection #SUPERNATURAL
2 Tips On How To Teach Your Child To Pray (Contd') Hello everyone! Thank you for your kind comments on yesterday's post, and taking out time to share on your timeline. Today, we will give you 2 more tips. If you're reading this post for the first time, visit the 'Kiddies LoveWorld' Superuser handle to catch up. So, let's continue: ✔Pray With Him: Your child doesn’t necessarily have to pray at the start, but he can listen to how you pray. So, model simple, heartfelt prayers for him. Tell him words, and then let him add some of his own. Let him pray while you help, and one day he won’t need your help anymore. ✔Be Consistent: When you’re teaching your children to pray, consistency is key. To reinforce the importance of this exercise in the mind of the child, you must be consistent. Don’t just talk about how important the family prayer time is, prove it through your actions; the efforts you take to ensure you keep to your special prayer time as a family. I trust this post has been helpful. Do drop a comment, and perhaps share your experience with us, so others can also learn and be blessed. We will share another interesting topic with you next week. Look out for it! Until then, do remember to "Follow" us on 'Kiddies LoveWorld', and share this post on your timeline. Have a beautiful weekend. God bless you!
Three Important Elements of Prayer Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer is an important aspect of who we are as Christians; it's our priestly ministry to pray. Jesus said, "..Men ought always to pray, and not to faint" (Luke 18:1). Oftentimes, people go through difficulties in their lives and don't know what to do. Not many know how to pray the right way. God told us to pray, not for praying sake, but because He planned to answer. In addition, there're vital rules and elements of prayer that, if and when clearly understood and applied, would make your prayers more effective. One of the elements of prayer is praying in the Name of Jesus.Jesus gave us the power of attorney to use His Name, which means when we pray,we are standing in his stead: "..Whatsoever you shall ask the father in my name,he will give it to you." (John 16:23). You are to live in the Name of Jesus; function in His place, with His authority, and in His character. What a thought! Colossians 3:17 says , "Whatsoever you do in word or deed,do all in the lord Jesus giving thanks". When you pray, it carries the same power and authority as though Jesus Himself were the one speaking. The second important element of prayer is that we pray in the authority of the Word of God, and the revelation and insight given to us by the Word of God. This means our faith must be based on what God's Word says, because if God's Word covers whatever we are praying about, then we can be sure to recieve answers, because we are asking in line with His Word. Faith is based on the Word. True faith is only imparted by the Word. Romans 10:17 declares that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. The third element is that we pray by the power of the Holy Spirit. Some Christians pray and nothing happens because the words spoken are not inspired and communicated by the power of the Holy Spirit. You have to pray always by the Holy Spirit; the words have to be energized, communicated, inspired, and anointed by the Holy Ghost. That's what makes the difference. When you study the book of Acts, you will find that the apostles took advantage of these three elements of prayer: (1)The name of Jesus (2)The word of God (3) The power of the Holy Spirit. No wonder they had such extraordinary results , and a marvelous impact with the Gospel. God bless you.
