#AfricaDay "AFRICA - A continent that was orchestrated to administrate and not to produce" The above quote (once cited by the Man of God, Pastor Chris) alludes to Africa's strategic positioning in global economics; mainly as the "errand boy" that supplies the world with raw materials - a most nominal position in the global production value chain. However, there exists the question of a certain kind of competence: does Africa have the technical 'know-how' to process its raw materials, handle its own infrastructure projects, and solve its unique problems? A published report showed that Chinese road construction companies gannered over $70 billion in contracts from Africa in 2014 alone (a figure that was projected to increase subsequently), yet our schools have trained millions of civil engineers through the years who most likely didn't receive the kind of education that makes them able to handle our construction projects. The same is true for other disciplines and fields of study. In commemoration of the Africa Day, the Africa for Africa Youth Initiative will bring together youths from tertiary institutions across the continent for a discourse bordering the subject matter, to raise an awareness on bridging the competence gap and adopting a strategic education system that equips the African people to solve Africa's challenges. ...maximizing Africa's resources.. #ADD2020 #Africa4Africa #A4AYouth

Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them'.
