THE BENEFITS OF FORGIVING OTHERS BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, until seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21-22)  When you forgive, you're the one who benefits. Not to forgive places you at a serious disadvantage and as a child of God, you should act like your heavenly father, who never recalls your offences. The first benefits of forgiving others is that you keep the door firmly closed against the devil. When you don't forgive, you open the door to bitterness and malice, both of which are satan's keys to entering a person's life. The Bible says "If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day. Don't give the devil a chance" (Ephesians 4:26-27 GNB) The second benefit of forgiving others is that when you do, the power of God in your life continues to flow unhindered. Remember that God is love and His power functions in the atmosphere of love. But when you don't forgive others, malice can creep in, which can short-circuit the power of God in your life. This was what happened to the Prophet Elisha in the Bible (2 Kings 3). Elisha was so angry and bitter against the King of Israel that he couldn't hear what the Spirit was saying. He had to call for a musician to play so that the annointing could come on him. Lastly, forgiving others will keep you in good health! People who harbour unforgiveness in their hearts are susceptible to sickness and disease. The bitterness in their hearts affects their physical bodies and manifests as infirmity. The reason some people are sick and miss out on God's blessings is that they refuse to forgive. So, make up your mind to always forgive those who have wronged you. If you forget how good God has been to you, you may find it difficult to forgive others when wronged. But when you appreciate the mercy you received from the Lord you'll find it easier to have mercy and forgive others when they've wronged you. #ministry #blessings #wehavemoved #affirmationtrain #talkingsession

SEE IT INSIDE FIRST! ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever (Genesis 13:14-15). When God told Abraham to "Lift up his eyes and look," He wasn't referring to his physical eyes, but to the eyes of his spirit. He wanted the man to look into the realm of the spirit and see the realities of God's Kingdom. That's the realm where seeming impossible situations in this earthly realm become possible. However, the only way to see into this realm is through prayer and study of the Word. The Word of God is "Light" (1 John 1:7); when you start walking in the light of God's Word, the realm of the spirit will come alive to you and you'll start functioning from that realm, just like your heavenly Father. I remember the story of a certain woman and her six year-old daughter, who both had polio and were brought to a healing meeting with a certain minister. After a session of prayers for the sick, the six year-old girl got healed immediately, but her mother wasn't and wished she had been healed like her daughter. About four years later, after listening to some tapes by the same minister on healing, she got healed! How? As she listened to the Word of God, she was able to see into the realm of the spirit and saw that there was no sickness or disease in her body! Soon as she got a hold of that PICTURE, nothing could stop her healing from manifesting in the physical. That's living from the inside out! You need to see that miracle you desire first by your eyes of your spirit. You can live free of sickness, poverty, failure, and suffering if you'd only turn the light of God's Word on your life. That way, you'll see the real you, and the realities of the glorious, prosperous and successful life God has called you to. #success #word #ministry #realities #wehavemoved #affirmationtrain #loveworld #talkingsession

BELIEVE THE BEST OF OTHERS BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. ...Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love... Puts up with anything; Trusts God always, always looks for the best, never looks back, but keeps going to the end (1 Corinthians 13:4,7 MSG). As Christians, we ought to provide a sense of security for one another. I like the idea of living freely among God's people as the Bible admonishes us to. That's how it ought to be. You shouldn't clam up and want to be on your guard always because of some negative reports you heard about others. That's why it's important to walk in love, for love always believes the best about others. Some people love to gossip; they are busybodies in other people's affairs, and the Bible warns us not to be that way! Such folks sow seeds of discord among brethren and attempt to pollute the whole Church with strife, "speaking things which they ought not" (1 Timothy 5:13). It's unsafe to hang around such people for they only spread resentment and rancour. Many churches have had troubles because of them. When you hear negative reports about people, your reaction is what determines whether you're walking in love or not. Always be ready to believe only the best about everyone. Never criticize anyone. Never write anyone off, just because of what you heard they said or did. When you hear a fellow believer defaming or tale-bearing about another brother or sister, correct him or her immediately, in love. We often make the mistake of keeping quiet when we know people are saying the wrong things about others. By such we become accomplices for giving them a hearing ear. If you shut your ears, they'll shut their mouths. Jesus chose to believe the best about His disciples. He knew, for example, that Peter was going to deny Him, yet He said to him,"...Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may siftyou as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." (Luke 22:31-32). Choose to believe the best in others today, for that's the love-way; the way of victory! #love #ministry #talkingsession #victory #affirmationtrain #wehavemoved

#TALKINGSESSION 30TH OCTOBER. KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for calling me out of the world into Your glorious Kingdom! I thank You for the day-to-day renewal of my mind and transformation of my soul and spirit through Your Word. IT'S OUR MONTH OF MINISTRY. PRESERVE YOUR FAMILY BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. (God Blesses Your Family Through You) Genesis 45:4-7 CEV “…I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt. Don’t worry or blame yourselves for what you did. God is the one who sent me ahead of you to save lives. There has already been a famine for two years, and for five more years no one will plow fields or harvest grain. But God sent me on ahead of you to keep your families alive and to save you in this wonderful way.” Every human person belongs to a biological family. As an individual, you have a responsibility towards your own family, and you must understand that no matter the kind of family you hail from, it isn’t a mistake that you were born there. Your birth was divinely orchestrated by God. If that’s the case, then your job is to turn the situation around in your family. As a child of God, you have the power to change hopeless situations. It makes no difference that your family is poverty-stricken; or that family members are prone to some terminal disease; or that disharmony is the order of the day; you have the power as a Christian to put a stop to all these. Stand your ground and see to it that poverty, death, or rancour doesn’t continue in your family. Make up your mind to be highly successful and prosperous, so you can empower others. You’re a light to your family, because Christ lives in you. Therefore, take His message of life to them and watch their lives transform. #ministry #blessed #champion #uplifting #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #wehavemoved

7 OUTWORKINGS OF GRACE BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSc DD. The Grace of God can be seen in what it produces; as much as Grace is a divine working on the inside of a man, it manifests itself on the outside of a man in diverse ways: below are seven out workings of grace in a man’s life. 1. ACCEPTABILITY. There always is something about a man/woman with Grace that attracts people to him/her. Grace singles you out; they just don’t know why they are attracted towards you. Grace has got nothing to do with one’s status, profession or gender. You can turn on grace in your life; God gives you more Grace as you put to use the Grace He already made available to you. Grace causes nature to respond to you and there are levels of Grace at which different Christians function. It should be your desire to function at the highest level of Grace possible. 2. THE ADVANTAGE. Grace brings and gives you the Advantage. As a Christian, you need to ALWAYS be conscious of the Grace of God upon your life, this is what makes it work and you need to recognize that you have got grace working for you. You do not need to struggle for/with anything in your life, if you put the Grace to work, it will deliver them to you, on a platter. Hallelujah! Grace is the glory of God working in a man’s spirit and it beautifies. Only the man with Grace recognizes Grace. Never try to work against Grace in a man’s life; one who does it, fights against the Source of Grace; Deity. 3. FAVOUR. Grace brings you FAVOUR. Good is turned towards the man with Grace and forgiveness always knocks at his door. Even when he seems to have made great mistakes, the Grace of God speaks for him. To walk in Grace means to walk in and with divine influence. It makes you have the mentality of “if I want anything, I will get it!” You are God’s trophy, and He wants everyone in the world to know how much he loves you. He is the ‘I am’ and you are the ‘in Him’. There is no need for the struggles and the worry wrinkles. Grace is available to deliver favour to you. Favour that comes by Grace comes by divine influence. Hallelujah! All He says is “yield to my Word” . 4. JOY. Grace brings about Joy; joy indescribable and unspeakable. As a Christian walking in grace, let Joy work out through your life. When you take advantage of grace, the world will not be able to explain how you are always up there. Where they let worries and the cares of this life control them, they do not understand how you have become a distributor of joy. With grace in your life, you become dauntless even in seemingly difficult situations. When challenges come to you look inwards for the solution, because you know that: THE BIGGER THE PROBLEM, THE BIGGER THE TESTIMONY. 5. LIBERALITY. Grace brings LIBERALITY into your life. You have got to recognize that Grace opens a two-way channel; it is called giving and a receiving channel. Recognize that giving is a Grace. When Grace opens up that passion to give; it also opens up your CAPACITY to receive. 6. PLEASURE. Grace brings about PLEASURE. Do you know that Pleasure comes spiritually and that you can take pleasure in all that God has created? Your life is for Him; recognizing this makes everything in your life pleasurable and yet pleasing to God. Now, Grace brings about a kind and happy pleasure that should make you appreciate the people and the things in your life. 7. GIFT. Grace brings GIFTs into your life. Grace brings about an uncanny ability to do what others cannot do. This can manifest itself by form of a skill, quality and understanding of certain areas. It’s important that you recognize the gift of God upon you and put it to use, it makes God’s power to come upon it. #uplifting #liftchallenge #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #wehavemoved

IT'S OUR MONTH OF UPLIFTING! PROCLAIM THE WORD TO EVERYTHING AROUND YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Jesus didn’t send us to preach the Gospel to human beings only; He said, “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” That’s quite instructive. It means you can proclaim the Word to anything and everything around you, because everything in life has intelligence. Everything God made can hear and recognise His voice. Jesus proved this true. Once, He spoke to a tree and it withered from its roots (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21).  Perhaps your car has been grounded; if you’d talk to it; if you’d release words of power to that car, before long, it’ll be back on the road. Maybe your house and everything in it is getting old, you can call forth a renewal. Declare, “House, in the Name of Jesus, you’re renewed.” Walk through the rooms and prophesy that new furniture, decorative items, electronics, etc., are coming in the Name of Jesus!  Many haven’t come to that point of prophesying and speaking the Word to everything around them; so they complain. Don’t complain; proclaim the Word. Maybe you only have one pair of shoes; instead of complaining to God about it, declare, “I invoke the blessing of God on this shoe, to bring forth a harvest.” Then, give it to God as an offering. Before long, you’ll have more than enough shoes for yourself and to give as gifts to others.  You might ask, “Is it really that simple?” Sure it is! The principle is clear; Jesus said, “…Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” (John 12:24). Proclaim the Word to your seed; your money and the things you own. Speak to your offerings to the Lord and say, “You’re coming back in a multiplied harvest, in the Name of Jesus; I release you with the blessings of God.”  Don’t cry for the lack of money; don’t cry about something you don’t have; put the principles in God’s Word to practice and you’ll surely have a testimony. Glory to God! #uplifting #liftchallenge #talkingsession #proclaimtheword #affirmationtrain

TURN YOUR FACE AWAY FROM MEN – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember, now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore (2 Kings 20:2-3). Our opening scripture shows us what King Hezekiah did when he was in a fix; he had just received a death sentence from God through the Prophet Isaiah. But rather than giving up, he turned his face to the wall in prayer unto the Lord. In other words, he turned away from men and turned to God, and God heard him. There’re times you may find yourself confronted with a difficult situation. For example, you were served eviction notice, and now you need a new accommodation urgently. Or maybe you’ve been out of a job and have been in desperate search for one to no avail. You’ve wailed, lamented, complained, and solicited help from everyone you knew; particularly those you thought could help, and yet nothing changed. It’s time you turned your face away from men! Stop talking to men about the situation. You already told “everybody” and they couldn’t do anything about it. So stop talking to them. Instead turn to the Lord in prayer. God alone has the ability to supply all that you need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) says “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately {and} cares about you watchfully.” In Psalm 50:15, He said, “…call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” The Lord is your “very present” help in times of need (Psalm 46:1); so if you find yourself in a dire situation, all you need do is call on Him. He’s ever willing and delighted to hear your voice and answer your prayers: “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers…” (1 Peter 3:12). The result of Hezekiah’s intense prayer was that not only did God reverse his death sentence; He added fifteen more years to his life (2 Kings 20:6). God is no respecter of persons. If He did it for Hezekiah, He’ll do it for you too, if only you’ll quit seeing men as your source of help and turn to Him in full assurance of faith. Say like the Psalmist “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth…” (Psalm 121:1-2). #uplifting #liftchallenge #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #wehavemoved #lights
