DON'T BREAK THE HEDGE! ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him (Ecclesiastes 10:8). Every child of God has a spiritual force-field around him; it’s a hedge of protection that repels the enemy. Did you ever read about Job in the Bible? Satan had tried unsuccessfully to attack the man, and so he asked God, “Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?” (Job 1:10). Even satan acknowledged that there was a hedge of protection round about Job and everything he had, until Job unfortunately breached it through his wrong confessions as revealed in Job 3:23-26: “Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in? For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.” Here was a man who even satan acknowledged was hedged and divinely protected by God, yet he said “I was not in safety.” Little wonder he suffered terribly and lost everything he had to satan; He broke the hedge of protection placed around him by God through his negative confession. How important it is for us to keep speaking forth faith-filled words and not fear! Negative confessions breach the hedge of protection God has placed around you. No child of God ought to experience sudden calamities or be overtaken by dire misfortunes; because there’s a hedge of protection around everyone one of us. No matter how the enemy tries to come at you, the Spirit of God will erect a repellent barrier against him: “…When the enemy shall come in, like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him {and} put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives]” (Isaiah 59:19 AMP). But guess what? He does it through you, for He functions and carries out His ministry in the earth through His kids. So it’s your responsibility to fortify the hedge of protection placed around you by God and extend its perimeter. How? By talking right, and then also by praying in tongues! When you feel the pressures of life coming at you; maybe at your job, business, academics or in any area of your life, that’s not the time to cry, cower or talk fear! Instead, pray fervently in other tongues and talk your faith up until the power of God inundates your whole being and saturates the environment. As you do this often, the spiritual force-field around you gets wider and wider, repelling the enemy farther and farther. #perfecting #wehavemoved #blessings #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #gospel #fruitful #thankyoupastorchris #loveworld #heavenly #alignment #completeness #perfection

HE CHOSE ME AND I'VE NEVER STOPPED LOVING HIM REVEREND RAY OKOCHA. I grew up in a religious home like most homes are in Nigeria. My parents made sure we all went to church - the Roman Catholic Church. I was very devoted and committed to the church and her activities I even joined the Saint Jude's Society at an early age. I went through the motions of religion not really knowing God or the reality of His word. I believe my parents tried to raise us the best way they knew. They had plans for me as the first child. I was to follow the path of the medical profession as they wanted me to study to become a medical doctor. This may have stemmed from the fact that my mum was a nurse. As a young boy at this time, I did not know anything about God's plan for me. I even thought that born again Christians or 'SU' (Scripture Union) as we called them, were weird people. My Dad had told us of stories of some of his classmates in the University who were born again and that these ones always failed in their academic works. We were all ignorant of the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. My parents relocated to the oil-rich city of Warri in Delta State, Nigeria. Thus I had to change schools and began to attend Urhobo College, Effurun, a school notorious for having tough and rascally students. In my second year in the school (I was in my fourth form at this time), I noticed a classmate who fitted the description of these weird people - the SUs. He didn't talk much with the rest of us but seemed a little put off with the way we did things. We respected Brother Charles (that was his name) but we didn't relate much to him. One day, Brother Charles invited me to a fellowship during the long break hour. I accepted his invitation and went to the meeting just to be courteous. In the meeting, he told us of his vision he had about the end time - specifically, the coming of the Lord. I wept throughout the message as it dawned on me that I was neither born again nor ready for the Lord's return. At the end of the message, he gave an altar call for those who were not ready for the Lord's return. I went out and said the prayers as directed. Suddenly, I felt a heavy load lift off my heart! Things were never going to be the same again. I was born again; I had received eternal life and God had become my Father. This new relationship with God was far removed from religion. I knew I was a different person. I became very hungry for God's word and wanted to spend time with Him. My parents began to notice a change in me. Although I was a 'good boy' at home before this time (good enough not to go to the drunkard's hell on a banana peel😀), there was something different about me. I began to tell all my friends about my salvation story and invited them all to join me in this new-found life. As I continued in my Christian walk, I discovered that there was something more. My new friends in the fellowship were always talking about the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. Oh, how I wanted this spiritual experience! I bought books on the Holy Spirit and receiving the Holy Spirit. On a fateful day, while still in secondary school, having been instructed to spend time fasting, I went with two friends to pray (they are both ministers of the Gospel presently). They laid hands on me and I received the infilling of the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues. Wow! It had finally happened! As I grew in the word, I was no longer satisfied with the spiritual nourishment I was receiving in my church. I stopped attending that church and this action started a 'war' at home. I graduated from secondary school and immediately got admission into the University in November 1984. As I got into school, a classmate of mine who was a brother introduced me to the man of God, Pastor Chris. The moment I shook hands with him, I knew I was connected to him. He looked like Jesus and everything about him fascinated me. I followed him to his room on campus. And I have been following him ever since... • Friends, we invite you to join us as we celebrate this great general in the Army of the Lord. Reverend sir, we all love you dearly. We join the host of Heaven and the beloved Saints of the Loveworld nation to celebrate you. Happy birthday sir🎁🎉

STIR UP YOURSELF – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20 AMP).   You may have wondered how come there’re some Christians who are often intimidated or overwhelmed by the circumstances of life. They easily become afraid when challenged by unpleasant situations, thereby making themselves vulnerable to the fierce attacks of the enemy. The reason for this is not that such believers don’t have faith, for every Christian has been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). But the real problem is that many who find themselves in such situations have allowed the power of the Holy Spirit lie dormant in them.   2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” So there’s no question as to whether or not the power of God is in you, for it is! But you must stir up that power within you continually, otherwise it will be inactive. You’re to make that inherent ability and divine energy in your spirit available for use anytime you want. That power is stirred as you meditate and talk the Word, and, as you pray fervidly in tongues.   God expects us to function in the earth with His power. He wants you to learn and know how to activate His power in you as much as He wants you to learn about faith and how faith works. When you study 2 Timothy 1:5-6, you’ll discover something striking. Right after the Apostle Paul commended Timothy, his grandmother Lois, and his mother Eunice for their unfeigned faith, he charged Timothy to stir up the power of God in him. There, Paul was talking about the power of the Holy Sprit that Timothy received when he (Paul) laid hands on him (Read 2 Timothy 1:5-6).   This means it’s possible for someone to have faith yet have the Holy Spirit’s power remain latent in his spirit. Most of the attacks the devil launches against people are either against the body or the soul. So that power shouldn’t only remain in your spirit. You have to stir it up until it inundates your soul and permeates your physical body. That way, you’re able to ward off whatever attack satan launches against you.   When you’re stirred, the anointing will surge through every fibre of your being; from your spirit, to your soul, and your body. There’ll be an influx of the power of the Holy Spirit into your mind, will, emotions, and it will move through your whole body, causing you to be immune to the vices of the enemy. #stir #wehavemoved #talkingsession #perfection #rhapathon2020 #loveworld #affirmationtrain #flourish #glorious #completement #alignment #heavenly #strengthened #thankyoupastorchris

HE PERFECTS YOUR PATH ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me… (Psalms 138:8). Oh, what peace flooded my soul when I discovered this scripture many years ago. I realized I should never worry about anything. You don’t need to fret about the future because He that owns tomorrow is perfecting your path. The Lord will perfect that which concerns you. Make this your daily confession, and the Holy Spirit will perfect everything about your life. The Lord gives you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons; He satisfies your heart with nourishment and happiness (Acts 14:17 AMP). How wonderful He is! Trust the Lord with your life and you’ll be full of peace, joy and happiness. He says in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” You can’t lead a fruitful and productive life when you’re only conscious of problems and challenges. This will rob you of joy, weigh you down and ultimately cripple your faith. The Word says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (1 Peter 5:7). That means leave them all to the Lord; He’s powerful enough to handle them. God knows about and perfects those things that concern you. Therefore, as you trust Him with your life, you’ll experience His peace. Peace is a consequence of trust, and trust is a product of knowledge. This is why your knowledge of God’s Word is very important. As you study and meditate on the Word, you’ll realize that God is indeed big enough to take care of you. Trust Him today and you’ll experience overwhelming peace in your spirit and increased productivity in your life. #prayingnow #wehavemoved #blessings #loveworld #talkingsession #perfection #ministry #completeness #alignment #affirmationtrain #flourish #fruitful #thankyoupastorchris #rhapathon

BE A TALKING CHRISTIAN BY REV. (DR.) CHRIS OYAKHILOME. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8). The Word didn’t say, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy heart”; but thy mouth. The Lord is dealing here with success, and says, “For you to be successful, the Word must be in your mouth.” Therefore, “Keep saying it; don’t stop talking it.” You’re required to keep talking the Word. The Word of God on your lips is God talking; it produces results. Someone might say, “What does it matter? As long as the Word is in my heart, that’s what count,” no. The principle is clear: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night.” If you’re going to be successful; if you’re going to be victorious in life; you have to be a talking Christian. The truth is, if the Word is in your heart, you can’t but speak it forth, because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). Only talking Christians win in life. Don’t mistake this for being loquacious; I’m referring to being a Word talker. When you’re alone, don’t be quiet; keep speaking the Word. Keep saying, “I’m a victor everywhere! I walk in the light of God. Success is in my spirit.” You can’t talk like this and be defeated in life. It doesn’t matter that you were born sick or poor; you can talk yourself into health, wealth and abundance. The power is in your mouth: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:21). There’s a divine ability in you to create the kind of life or environment you desire. You can alter the circumstances of life to conform to the image you conceive in your spirit by speaking in faith, in line with God’s Word. This is the key to living in victory continually. Start speaking and calling forth today what you want to see in your life and the Holy Spirit will incubate on your words and make them a reality. • To Get More Pastor Chris's Teachings, kindly DOWNLOAD the cLoveWorld App from the Android or Apple store, and Register With The Reference Code: Affirm01 #rhapathon #rhapsodyofrealities #perfection #alignment #completeness #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain

SATURATE YOUR CLOUD WITH THE RIGHT WORDS BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be (Ecclesiastes 11:3). As a Christian, you’re a king-priest; the Bible says where the word of a king is, there’s power (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Therefore, keep talking; I don’t mean be loquacious; I mean keep affirming the Word. Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23). Therefore, have what I call, “Talking sessions,” where all you do is get into your closet, affirming God’s Word about your life, your future and destiny. Learn to talk your money up; talk your family up; talk your business up; talk your health up If you don’t know what to say, write out a portion of Scripture on who you are or what belongs to you in Christ, and begin to affirm them. You can also visit Pastor Chris Digital Library to watch and listen to faith building messages; before long, the right words will form in your spirit and proceed from your mouth. Take this seriously, and you’d be amazed at the changes that’ll happen in your life within a short time. That’s because words are things; they have divine potency; they possess spiritual energy. When you talk, you release energy in the realm of the spirit, in the direction of the substance of the message, because words are vector quantities. I said, “Have talking sessions”; at such times, you’re not merely talking into the air; you’re addressing circumstances and situations, effecting positive changes in your life and future. From this beginning days of the New Year, and all through, practise this. Shape and frame the future you want with your words. Store words in the spirit that would produce for you the right harvest at the appointed time. Recall what we read in our theme verse. So, now is the time to saturate your cloud with the right words and rule your world. Amen. • Watch Pastor Chris's Messages 24/7 On The Go, For FREE! MAKE GOOD THINGS HAPPEN FOR OTHERS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall be also reap (Galatians 6:7). True prosperity is about being a blessing to others and helping them live a meaningful life. It's about contributing positively to the advancement of the lives of those around you. Being a blessing to others, you'll always be lifted, for there's promotion in helping others. God will make happen for you the good things you make happen for others.  Help those around you stand strong; help them discover their God-given potentials. As an employer, for example, help those in your employ realize their dreams for success. In the same vein, as an employee in organization, be diligent; commit yourself to improving the organization where you work. Make the progress of that organization a priority, for in it's prosperity you will also prosper.  Proverbs 11:25 says, "The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself." You never lose for being the giver and the blesser. There're orphans, windows, and indigent children who could benefit from your prosperity. The Bible says in Proverbs 19:17 "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again." Always look out for opportunities to be a blessing to others, and the Lord, will multiply your seeds sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.  #perfection #glory #lights #blessings #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #thankyoupastorchris #supernatural #walkover #realities #fightoffaith.

"The first three months, January, February, March, it's going to be like the year is already over. You will be amazed by what God will do in your life that you'll say, "but it's just the first three months." THE POWER OF WORDS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth (Proverbs 6:2). Positive change is something we all want, should have, and continually crave; change from glory to glory. In your job, business, finances, family, etc., you should always desire unending progress, because the "path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18). Change, whether positive or negative, results from the words you pay attention to, and the thoughts they stir up in your heart. The Lord Jesus always taught His disciples to hear and think right. In Mark 4:24, He said, "...Take heed what ye hear…." Then in Luke 8:18, He said, "Take heed therefore how ye hear…." How you hear is as important as what you hear, because how you hear often determines your response and attitude, as well as ability to appropriate the power of the words that come to you. Words make or mar. Our lives are influenced by words; the atmosphere in your home depends on the words that are spoken in it. Your relationships are built on words. Our lives are so dependent on words that, not only do they affect our attitudes, they also affect our health and living conditions. Whether or not you’re living in faith or in fear is a function of what you hear, for faith comes by hearing (God’s Word: positive information); while fears comes through negative information. Many today have become faint-hearted from listening to media reports on the dwindling state of the world’s economy. However, there’s one who never changes, and that’s the Almighty God; His Word is the same—yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away" (Matthew 24:35). He’s given us His Word as the veritable agent to change and transform us from glory to glory: "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18). #perfection #glory #lights #blessings #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #thankyoupastorchris #supernatural #walkover #realities #fightoffaith.

WISDOM AND SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9). Imagine walking in fulfilment of this prayer! Your life will be an endless manifestation of the excellence of the Spirit. When you have wisdom and spiritual understanding, beyond knowing the whys and wherefores of anything, you know the power behind it. Every time, in every place, and in every situation, you know exactly what to do. The Prophet Elisha manifested this kind of supernatural understanding and wisdom. Once, he and some other prophets were at Jordan, and one of them, while hewing down a tree, his axe-head pulled off and sank in the river. It was a borrowed axe, so he cried out to Elisha for help (2 Kings 6:5). Elisha cut off a tree branch and tossed it at the spot where the axe-head fell, and instantly, the axe-head floated up. How did Elisha know what to do to bring the axe-head from under the water to the surface? He was filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. The wisdom of God showed him what to do. Something similar happened with Isaac. There was famine in Canaan and he was about to leave for another city when God instructed him to remain in Canaan. The Bible records that in spite of the drought, Isaac dug wells and found water. Meanwhile, everyone else in Canaan dug wells and found no water. In that same year, the Bible says that Isaac "…waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him" (Genesis 26:12-14). How did Isaac know where to dig to find water? Why did he prosper exceedingly in a land where everyone else experienced severe hunger, poverty, and deprivation? It was because God gave him insight as to what to do. If you study about him in the scriptures, you’ll discover he’s one of those in the Old Testament who, we’re told, often took time to meditate: "And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide …" (Genesis 24:63). Meditating on God’s Word causes you to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. #perfection #wehavemoved #prayer #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #loveworld #alignment #excellence #communionservice #completeness #thankyoupastorchris #ministry

It doesn’t matter if you’ve found yourself in some kind of "wilderness experience" right now; shift your focus to the Word. Look away from that distressing situation unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." In other words, that pain, that unpleasant situation, that challenging circumstance, may have been for five or ten years, but it’s for a moment; it came to pass! It’ll work for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. I WANT TO PRAY FOR YOU NOW. EXPECT A MIRACLE 🙏 I pray today for all who are suffering; especially little children, who are sick, displaced, hurting or experiencing any form of pain, that by your Spirit, and through the ministry of angels, help, succour and comfort will come to them. I declare divine intervention for those who have found themselves in some terrible situations. I pray that the faith, courage, and strength they need to come out victorious be ministered to them in Jesus’ Name. CONFESSIONS BASED ON REVELATION ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus (Hebrews 3:1 NKJV). When we talk about "confessing" or speaking in conformity with the Word of God, it’s not mere "positive talking" or a formula for getting God to do something. That’s not what the Word teaches. "Confession" is from the Greek word, "Homologia," and it means ‘speaking the same thing in consent or agreement.’ It means to declare openly, by way of speaking out freely, your deep convictions based on what God has said. Hebrews 13:5-6 says, "…for he hath said…So that we may boldly say…." Therefore, confession is the proclamation of that which God has said: declaring words that are consistent with His provisions, plans, and purposes. Your confessions must be based on the revelation of the Word of God. This isn’t the same as the person who for example, feels pain in the stomach, and says, "I don’t have stomach pain…"; that’s not confession. The idea of confession isn’t that you deny facts, or that you say, "I’m healed," so that you’d be healed; no. Rather, when you say, "I’m healed," it’s founded on the truth that you know from the Word of God that you have the life of God in you! You have the present-hour consciousness that the same Spirit that raised up Christ from the dead, dwells in you, and vitalizes your mortal body; therefore you’re speaking on the basis of that revelation. This explains why some people don’t get the right results even though they’ve been making "positive confessions" as it seems. We don’t "confess" the Word so that something will happen; we speak the truth. We tell it as the Word says; you declare that which already belongs to you in Christ, and not what you’re trying to get. Right now, declare God’s Word concerning your life, family, finances and ministry. #theyearofperfection #completeness #favoured #excellence #alignment #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #higerlife #gospel

LIVING IN THE NAME OF JESUS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring (Acts 17:28). The Bible says, "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him" (Colossians 3:17). That’s the way to live a supernatural life. True Christianity is functioning in the Name of Jesus. That means you’re living for Him in His authority. How could you be defeated if you live for Him? That’ll be impossible; and so will failure and poverty. Some people believe rightly the Name of Jesus is powerful and has all authority, but they don’t know how to function in that Name on a day-to-day basis. The Lord Jesus taught us how in John 14:12-13, where He said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Here, the Lord was teaching us to make demands in His Name. Peter understood this, and he commanded a man who had never walked from birth to rise up and walk in the Name of Jesus (Acts 3:1-6). The Bible says, "And he (the lame man) leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God" (Acts 3:8). We’re called to live in the Name of Jesus, the creator of the universe. That’s big, and nothing can compare with it. If you function in His Name, and discover there’s a tumour in your body, say, "Tumour, in the Name of Jesus, you can’t stay in this body, I command you to go!" and it’ll go. If there’s a problem with your heart, say, "Heart, I command you to function normally in the Name of Jesus!" If your child isn’t growing right, lay your hands on him or her, and say, "Child, grow right in the Name of Jesus, and be excellent!" If you had trouble at work, lift your hands in the presence of the Lord and say, "I command the storms in my office to calm down in the Name of Jesus!" And it will be so. Make your life beautiful, and live triumphantly every day, by living in the Name of Jesus. #theyearofperfection #wehavemoved #alignment #strengthened #blessings #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #excellence #glorified #loveworld #ministry #flourish #fruitful #season #thankyoupastorchris #knowledge

EXCELLENCE REFERS TO THE QUALITY OF YOUR PERSONALITY. ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:15-16 TLB) Excellence isn’t just about being very good at something; it’s much more than that. Excellence refers to the quality of your personality; it’s something that comes from your spirit and reflects in everything you do. As a child of God, you’ve got the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of excellence, living in you. He brings excellence into your life, which means you can manifest this excellence to your world. God is eager to show His excellence through you, in your school work, relationships, behaviour, communication, and in everything else. As a student, He wants you to function with an excellent spirit and display His perfection in your academics. Through His excellence working in you, He wants to manifest His glory to the world. So let Him do so; don’t hide your excellence. Be the best in all that you do. Refuse to accept half measures or put up with mediocrity; pay attention to details in everything you do, even if you don’t feel like it. Add value to yourself and to anything you’re involved in. And just like Daniel, as you manifest this excellence in every area of your life, you’ll stand out from the crowd (Daniel 6:3)! #perfection #excellence #alignment #happynewyear #thankyoupastorchris #affirmationtrain #talkingsession

YOUR MOUTH IS A WEAPON ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff (Isaiah 41:15) In Joshua 1:2-3, The LORD said to Joshua: “….now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you.” Thus, by this instruction the children of Israel knew that all they had to do to take possession of the land God gave to them was to step on it. Once they stepped on it, it became theirs. But in the New Testament, there’s a difference. The power isn’t in your feet, but in your mouth. Many Christians haven’t understood this truth, so they walk in ignorance. When trying to acquire something, like a piece of property for example, you’ll find them marching around it because the LORD said, “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you.” Oh, that they would realize that the victory is now in their mouth! Today, it’s no longer “Where the soles of your feet shall tread upon” rather, it’s “you shall have what you say!” Possession is with your mouth. The Old Testament folks were taught to battle that way because they functioned in the sense (physical) realm. But now in the New Testament, we battle differently, from the realm of The Spirit. In that realm, there’s no recognition of distance; you don’t need to march around a building to get it. All you need do is use your mouth, for it has been given to you to chart your course and to do battle which is your fight of faith. How important the mouth is! Every time you release words with your mouth, you’re wielding a dangerous weapon. The Greek word for mouth is “stoma”, which means “the front or edge of a weapon.” With this weapon, you can cut down such enemies as poverty, failure, cancer, diabetes, HIV and so on. When you declare: “This growth will not stay in my body,” you’re cutting it down with your weapon. No wonder the Bible says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4) #perfection #wehavemoved #Truth #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #loveworld #alignment #excellence #communionservice #completeness #thankyoupastorchris #ministry

EXCELLENCE REQUIRES DISCIPLINE BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Proverbs 22:29). When it comes to the quality of your work, it’s either what you do is excellent or it’s lackluster. As a child of God, whatever you do, wherever you work, make up your mind to be excellent, because you’re of an excellent spirit. Tell yourself, “If it’s not excellent, I’m not done.” Everything you do and are involved with must be the best, because you’re a child of the best. Don’t settle for average. To be excellent, you’ve got to practise it. If you’re a structural engineer, for example, don’t construct mediocre structures; structures that can’t, and wouldn’t stand the test. Go all out to apply the right engineering principles and technology to build quality design and construction. Refuse to cut corners; use only the best materials. “I’m only a janitor!” someone might say, but it makes no difference. Be excellent. Discipline yourself well enough to carry out your responsibilities with due diligence. Follow the standard operating procedures and use your checklists. Carry out detailed research on your work, on the right tools and materials you need to make you the best and the preferred amongst many other great options. Distinguish yourself as someone with an excellent spirit. The Bible says concerning Daniel, “…an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm” (Daniel 6:3). Yes. Excellence makes you a leader, but it requires discipline. The Bible says, “And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things…” (1 Corinthians 9:25). The word, “temperate” means discipline, to have self-control. 1 Corinthians 9:27, “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection….” Again, this refers to discipline; subjecting yourself to the right and necessary trainings, and sometimes rigours, in order to be the best at what you do. There’s excellence in your spirit, and it’ll manifest in all you do as you carry out your assignments with a lot more diligence. #perfection #wehavemoved #Truth #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #loveworld #alignment #excellence #communionservice #completeness #thankyoupastorchris #ministry

BELIEVE IN PERFECTION ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). There’re many who don’t believe that perfection is possible. When you try to talk to them about perfection, they don’t want to hear it. With a sneer, they accuse you of being a "perfectionist," because in their erroneous belief, "nobody can be perfect." Yet, when you study the Word, there’s no place that suggests to us the impossibility of perfection. God doesn’t give us a chance not to be perfect. Everything about Him calls for perfection; He requires us to be perfect, not when we get to heaven, but here and now—in the earth! The reason most people don’t think perfection is possible, which is why they’re not perfect, is that they don’t know what perfection is. Perfection is like success, which can be measured at different stages of your life, according to the set-out objectives, purpose, and goal. Perfection is measured according to the light, instruction, or information that you have with respect to the underlying objectives. Our opening verse says, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." The word "perfect" here is the Greek "teleios," which describes perfection in your heart; a completeness; measuring your heart with the heart of God. The way to do this is through the Word. Think, love and forgive as God wants you to—let your heart be like the Father’s heart. The word "perfect" is also used in 2 Corinthians 13:11; it says, "Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect…." This time, another Greek word, "katartizo" is used for "perfect." It means to do things perfectly. This is not the perfection in the heart (teleios) but of your actions: the things you do and how you do them. The emphasis here is on doing things impeccably right the first time. And the first step in achieving this is learning to pay attention to details! Believe in perfection and don’t be intimidated by it. Your perfection will be judged according to the training and information that you’ve received, not the one you didn’t get. So, practise being perfect; think and talk perfection, because the Lord requires it of you. #theyearofperfection #excellence #alignment #wehavemoved #blessings #strengthened #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #glorified #loveworld #ministry #flourish #fruitful #season #thankyoupastorchris #knowledge
