ℹ INSIGHT with Pastor Uyi IT IS BIBLE TRADITION Recently, someone asked me an interesting question. She said, “Pastor, I have noticed that in this past ministry calendar year, you have travelled to different places to go hear the Word. It must mean that you have so much money, for I know that these trips cost a lot." Though I could relate to her question, it dawned on me that I never saw it from that perspective. You see, I attended the program with Dr. Morris Cerullo in Lagos just about a week after we returned from IPPC 2018. Then I was in Lagos for both the MBTC (Minister Bible Training Course) in February 2019 and the ICLC (International Cell Leaders Conference) in June 2019. Again, I attended the WEC (World Evangelism Conference) in London, UK and interestingly, I happened to be in Dallas, Texas barely a week after the WEC, when Pastor paid that beautiful surprise visit to C.E Arlington. (There he further explained the WEC message ... that was glorious, I tell you.) Then, I was privileged to attend the ANOB (A Night of Blessings) and the subsequent meetings in Accra Ghana. Finally, by divine arrangement, I attended the glorious just concluded IPPC 2019. So yes, I could relate to her question. Answering her I said, "it is bible tradition to go where the anointing is." Jesus pitched his headquarters in Capernaum and the people journeyed there. The Apostles made Jerusalem their headquarters and all roads led to Jerusalem. Even, Naaman had enough sense to make the journey to Samaria to see the Man of God, Elisha, (instead of insisting that the Man of God come to him, since he was a man of wealth and status) 2 Kings chapter 5. So, I said to her; Jesus 👉Capernaum The Apostles 👉Jerusalem Pastor Chris 👉(Hmmmm) Everywhere he goes. No journey is too great when one finds what he seeks - Friedrich Nietzsche Beloved, remember Pastor defined success as “impacting the world with the IN.VESTMENT of your personality.” Wisdom demands you make that investment, for that is the foundation. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV It is Bible Tradition to go where the anointing is. #KINGINGwithPastorUyi FOLLOW THIS SUPERUSER ACCOUNT
And God gave the word, great was the company that published it. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. 10,000 copies of Rhapsody of Realities a done deal. #ron2019lunch #cemasaka1 #amc #revtom #graceisavailable

'INSIGHT' with Pastor Uyi No Country for Old Men Part I The term, 'Old' is synonymous with 'ancient,' 'venerable', 'antique,' 'archaic', and 'obsolete', which generally means existing in the past. 'Old' may apply either to actual or relative length of existence. Old does not refer to age or length of days only, but can also refer to attitudes and traditions. In other words, someone may be young in age yet archaic in thoughts. People with old mindsets stick to ancient ways and are hostile to new and improved ways of doing things. Someone may be asking “why this kind of title for 'INSIGHT' with Pastor Uyi on this KingsChat SuperUser account?” What has old men and country got to do with us? In writing this article, I considered many titles but still came back to the title above for it perfectly suits and describes the essence of this draft. We are in the days of technology, virtual reality and artificial intelligence. Today, there is arguably no field of human endeavour that technology does not affect or dominate. To ignore technology is to make yourself irrelevant. To stick with former ways of doing things is to limit your growth and impact. Therefore, we say there is “No Country for Old Men." No place for old mindsets, outdated concepts, and slow manual processing. We no longer score points for being computer literate; it is as essential as reading and writing. And, keeping up with technology is easy if you chose to learn. Take communication, for example: It has become addictive with far too many options via social media channels and online apps. There was a time post-office, telegram, telex, and fax were cutting-edge technology. The world has since moved on. When was the last time you took a pen to write a letter by hand to your 'penpal?' When did you last see the insides of a post office? Anyone who chooses to remain with once-upon-a-time attitudes and traditions will find themselves in a strange place, without a country; Alone. Archaic. Old.... Watch Out for more 'INSIGHT' with Pastor Uyi: NEXT MONDAY: No Country for Old Men Part II continues.. LIKE. COMMENT. RESHARE. #KINGINGwithPastorUyi FOLLOW THIS SUPERUSER ACCOUNT
