"The first three months, January, February, March, it's going to be like the year is already over. You will be amazed by what God will do in your life that you'll say, "but it's just the first three months." THE POWER OF WORDS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth (Proverbs 6:2). Positive change is something we all want, should have, and continually crave; change from glory to glory. In your job, business, finances, family, etc., you should always desire unending progress, because the "path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18). Change, whether positive or negative, results from the words you pay attention to, and the thoughts they stir up in your heart. The Lord Jesus always taught His disciples to hear and think right. In Mark 4:24, He said, "...Take heed what ye hear…." Then in Luke 8:18, He said, "Take heed therefore how ye hear…." How you hear is as important as what you hear, because how you hear often determines your response and attitude, as well as ability to appropriate the power of the words that come to you. Words make or mar. Our lives are influenced by words; the atmosphere in your home depends on the words that are spoken in it. Your relationships are built on words. Our lives are so dependent on words that, not only do they affect our attitudes, they also affect our health and living conditions. Whether or not you’re living in faith or in fear is a function of what you hear, for faith comes by hearing (God’s Word: positive information); while fears comes through negative information. Many today have become faint-hearted from listening to media reports on the dwindling state of the world’s economy. However, there’s one who never changes, and that’s the Almighty God; His Word is the same—yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away" (Matthew 24:35). He’s given us His Word as the veritable agent to change and transform us from glory to glory: "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18). #perfection #glory #lights #blessings #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #thankyoupastorchris #supernatural #walkover #realities #fightoffaith.
2020 IS A WALKOVER... MAINTAINING YOUR VICTORY ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12). Many are yet to acknowledge and understand the kind of warfare we’re engaged in as Christians. They say, "O, Jesus has done it all for me; He fought all my battles for me." Yes, He already accomplished all things for you, but the Word says you should "fight the good fight of faith." The fight of faith isn’t a fight with the devil who has already been defeated; rather, it means maintaining your victory in Christ by standing your ground on God’s Word. It means living in the reality of what the Word says about you: laying hold of your rights, privileges and inheritance in Christ, and refusing to let go, irrespective of fierce opposition. The Apostle Paul emphasized this when he said in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; ) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." Notice it says "the weapons of our warfare"; acknowledging that there’s indeed a warfare, and we’re involved in it! Secondly, it describes these weapons, stating that they are mighty through the Word and the Holy Spirit, in the pulling down of "strongholds." Strongholds are ideas, thoughts, principles and theories of this world that contradict the Word. Such ideas and theories create negative mind-sets in people, and hold them in bondage. However, with the Word of God, and through the Holy Spirit, we’re able to pull down or dismantle such strongholds. Next, it says "casting down imaginations." Sometimes people have imaginations that are against the Word of God; they’re haunted by terrible imaginations of fear, defeat, and failure. With the Word of God, we’re able to tear down and demolish such evil imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God! Stand your ground on the Word always. #perfection #glory #lights #blessings #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #thankyoupastorchris #supernatural #walkover #realities #fightoffaith

Isaiah 58:6-9 says, 'Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the 'naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward. THE ANOINTING BRINGS PRODUCTIVITY ~ REV. DR. CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27). 1 Samuel 22:2 tells us of the different people that gathered themselves unto David: "...every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men." This was a rendezvous of broken people with difficulties in various areas of their lives. They were behind in their finances, dissatisfied, unhappy, uncomfortable and discontented. These were the men that came to David, to be trained and mentored by him. But before then, David had been anointed by the prophet of God, Samuel (1 Samuel 16:12-13). So these men gathered unto David, because they understood that the anointing David had received was what they needed to come out of their difficult situation. When you read further into the twenty-third chapter, several years later, their hitherto disgruntled state had changed. They were now called David's mighty men (2 Samuel 23:8). When it was time to give for the building of the temple, these men who were once in debt had become so prosperous that they gave so much for the construction of the Temple (1 Chronicles 29:6-7). It reminds me of when we first started out in the ministry. Those who came to us--those we ministered to and won to Christ--were those who some other Christians thought were too carnal, broken, dejected or too lost to be transformed. But we had the anointing that made the difference. Today, their stories have changed, and the same people are the ones doing great and mighty things for the Lord all around the world. In Isaiah 32:15, the Bible says "Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest." The Holy Spirit brings the anointing into your life and makes you productive. He turns your wilderness into a fruitful field; He causes water to spring up from your desert. With the Holy Spirit your experience will be that of productivity, growth, increase, expansion and progress in every area of your life, and a bursting forth on every side. Also, the anointing imparts authority to your words and brings grace into your life, causing you to walk in divine favour. Things just fall into place for you; failure, poverty and defeat became separated from your life. #thanksgiving #blessings #testimony #newyearservice #affirmationtrain #talkingsession #thankyoupastorchris
⚡️RECHARGE⚡️ with Pastor Taba was so amazing as she shared on “Maintaining Your Testimony!” Here is a synopsis of the word we received: Whenever you receive a miracle and testify, be sure to be ready for a FIGHT! The Devil won’t step back and congratulate you! He will counter attack. The counter attack is his attempt to counter the word of God. Pastor admonished us to be steadfast & unmovable by maintaining our testimony! How? 1. Tell the Devil “OFF”! - Remind him of who he is and who you are. Use the Word against him! 2. Keep Talking your Faith! - We believe, and therefore we speak! 3. Refuse to Fear! Be Strong in Faith! - Don’t stagger in unbelief! Strong faith doesn’t give up; it maintains the confession. 3) Meditate on the Right Things! - Every message has an author and every author has an agenda! Look unto Jesus who is the author of your faith. 4) Give HIM ALL the Glory - Remember the Lord and give him Glory for your miracle! Make sure to join us LIVE for our Sunday Service with Pastor Richard! #CENorthYorkGroup #CENorthYork #CECityChurch #CERichmondHill #CEMalton #CEMossPark #Vision2020 #V2020
