Love Like Jesus Walking in love isn’t an option for the Christian, and one major characteristic of love is that it forgives. You must always forgive others, irrespective of what they might have done against you. It doesn’t matter the extent of hatred and acrimony you may experience from certain people, you have the obligation to love and forgive those who hurt or persecute you, like Jesus did. Imagine His reaction to those who crucified Him; He looked up to heaven and said, “...Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do...” (Luke 23:34). He overlooked their ignorance and forgave their wrongs. Always be quick to forgive. Don’t say, “But what he did was so terrible”; there’s no wrong that doesn’t deserve forgiveness. Jesus proved it. Stephen did too; read his story: the Jews stirred up false charges against him for preaching the Gospel and ordered his execution. The Bible says, “…as the murderous stones came hurtling at him, Stephen…fell to his knees, shouting, ‘Lord, don’t charge them with this sin!’ and with that, he died” (Acts 7:59-60 TLB). He cried out to God to forgive those who murdered him. As you take stock and round off the year, one thing you must ensure is to look into your life and confidently say that you hold nothing against anyone. Even the most difficult people, under the most difficult circumstances, still deserve to be loved. God wants you to know that all people are valuable to Him, irrespective of how you may feel about them. Train yourself to relate with everyone around you in this manner. Never judge or condemn others. Follow the example of the Master. He said in Matthew 5:44-45, “…Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven….”

Today's Rhapsody of Realities We Bear Fruits Of Righteousness Not only has God given us the gift of righteousness, He’s also made us His righteousness. Part of what this means is that we bear fruits of righteousness. Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches...” (John 15:5). The beauty of a tree is in its branches. You’re the “branch” of Jesus Christ, which means you carry the beauty of the Son of God. Isaiah 61:3 calls us trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord of hosts, that He might be glorified. Trees bear fruits after their kind. Therefore, you bear fruits of righteousness (Philippians 1:11). You give vent to God’s best. His glory and excellence are expressed through you. The people of the world should see you and recognise the excellence and elegance of the Spirit that you exude. The Word says so:... Learn more from today's Rhapsody.

MONDAY 21 AUGUST 2017 FAITH IN ACTION WITH PASTOR RUTH MUSARURWA Hebrews 11:6 KJV But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. If you see faith as a leap into the unknown, you'll always have many reasons for not doing the things you ought to do. You'll always find yourself considering, reconsidering and hesitating. Faith depends on the Word of God as the basis & assurance for action. For example, 2 people may hear the same message about giving & then 1 is wondering: "So after giving, how will I be able to meet up with my expenses?" To such a fellow, giving at such a time will be a leap in the dark, & that's wrong. Whereas the other fellow is thinking: "Wow, what a blessed opportunity to receive! I know that as I give, I'll never lack, because God's Word has promised me a harvest!" Thus, he releases that money, not in fear but in faith! Faith hears & jumps, but fear hears the same thing & considers other factors. Remember, to the natural man, the Word of God is "unreasonable"; it makes no sense. That is because God's Word isn't meant for the head but for the human spirit. Learn to respond to God's Word from your spirit, & your faith will always prevail. Hallelujah! #vision400 #cesazone5 #flourishing
