The Legality of Asking the Father in Jesus' Name — Excerpt from Sunday Service Pastor explains that it’s a beggarly condition to ask the father for Jesus’ sake. Ministering in an atmosphere super-charged with God’s presence, Pastor delved extensively on the difference between ‘asking in Jesus name', and 'asking for Jesus’ sake’ as he equipped the congregants at the LoveWorld Conference Center for a more productive prayer life. “God doesn’t answer your prayers for Jesus’ sake, there’s a huge difference between asking for Jesus’ sake and asking in the name of Jesus", Pastor declared as he expounded on the legality of asking in the name of Jesus. Watch in the featured video, as Pastor explains the use of the name of Jesus.

Monday 25th July 2016 THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK “Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Col 3:1-3) Those who have their affections on things mundane are often attacked. Your heart should be set on things above; reaching the nations with the gospel of His saving grace. #IncreasedWealth #YearOfSpreading #2016 Follow the BLW International Office UK SuperUser account on KingsChat.

FOUNDATION SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY The graduands in these pictures look like your typical brethren, excited at graduating from a CHRIST EMBASSY Church Foundation School. If you say graduands from a CHRIST EMBASSY Church Foundation School graduation ceremony, you would be absolutely spot on. However, they're not your typical CHRIST EMBASSY brethren. But they're your brethren. They are members of CHRIST EMBASSY Ogwashi-Uku Medium Security Prisons. They are ALL inmates of the penitentiary. They are serving various lengths of prison time but just look at how happy and excited they are!!! Despite being behind bars, incarcerated, limited, yet they've been set free and made free by the glorious gospel according to Pastor Chris. The graduation ceremony held on Saturday, July 9th, 2016. The church, started as an outreach fellowship, now holds full fledged church services complete with functioning cell (no pun intended) groups and a co-ordinator. There was an explosive increase in growth within the past 12 months, helped in no small measure, by the miraculous release of at least 25 members of the church. Indeed this is the Year of Spreading. #YearOfSpreading #ceAsaba #MVZ4

WHICH ONE? Mark 6:6 And (Jesus) marvelled because of their unbelief... Luke 7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith... Which "marvel" do I (you) evoke in the Master? I have spent today meditating on these 2 Scriptures. It is very easy to know which: In Nazareth, He couldn't do any mighty work because of their "marvellous" unbelief. Are there evidence of God's mighty works in my (your) life or is it only much of the same mundane "muchness" that exists? Selah...

FAITH & PRAYER Today, I came across a quote that I wrote, by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, way back in 1992. It is a quote on the importance of Prayer. "Prayer is the laboratory where the Word of God is converted from inspiration to Faith" ~ Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome I know many people who know the Scriptures and quote them copiously but their lives never corresponded to the Word. They are broke, sickly, sinning and unhappy. They are "Wordites", who rarely or never prayed. I was one of such...until I met Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and everything changed. Since then, I've wondered why many that pray don't study the Word and many that study the Word don't pray. The Scriptures instruct "...let the Word dwell in you richly..." AND "...pray without ceasing...for this is the will of God..." #YearOfSpreading

FULFILLING YOUR DESTINY IN GOD by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome (a 7 part Teaching series preached in 1997 - from my archives) "If you will fulfill your destiny in God, you MUST believe that He has chosen you for Victory, for Success and for Greatness. Until you believe that He chose you for these things, you will never accomplish the destiny that He has for you". "Never accept that whatever will be will be or that, that, which God has destined for me will be mine. For you have an adversary who is the god of this world system that is determined to stop that which God has destined for you from coming to you". Luke 22: 28 - 32 The Master prophesied to the disciples that they have been appointed to sit on thrones with Him to judge the 12 tribes of Israel. Yet, Jesus informs Peter that Satan will seek to sift him as wheat BUT, He (Christ) has prayed for him (Peter) that his faith doesn’t fail. If it was a fait accompli, that Peter's destiny was to sit on the throne to judge Israel with Christ, then Jesus would not need have prayed for him, as whatever will be, will be. But it is not so. You have a role to play in fulfilling your destiny in God. (paraphrase of a part of the message by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome) #YearOfSpreading

SPECIAL WEDNESDAY SERVICE WITH PASTOR CHRIS. (LCC 3) 20th July 2016 How did the apostles reason? What were they like? What kind of mentality did they have? 1Cor 3:20- vs 21- Don't be proud of your association with men. That is not going to help you. If you are connected to God, that is it. Whether life or death, things present or things to come.......all are yours. How can you read these words and be broke? It doesn't make sense. It means you are not walking in the wisdom of God's word. The world belongs to me as much as I belong to Christ! Don't get frustrated because you don't have a job. If they don't give you a job, create one and then start giving people jobs. No government can create jobs like they promise. You can't create jobs, you can only create opportunities. 1st principle for success is 'look out for a human need and look out for ways to meet that need'. Don't go into a business because a particular product is selling in an area. You already are planning to fail because you are going into heavy competition. Make up your mind to be diligent. A lot of great things start small but so many people don't have the patience to wait. A lot of things have timing, when it comes to maturity it becomes great. Lots of job, businesses and careers are like this. When God brought the Isrealities out of Egypt He didn't lead them through the way of the philistines although that was a shorter route to the Promise land. God's thinking was that 'because they had been slaves for so long if they go through the way of the Philistines they will be attacked and flee back into Egypt. Instead he took them through the wilderness harnessed. As He did, He showed them his mighty hand and strengthened them. When they eventually faced war, they fought and defeated their enemies. A lot of times most people don't know why the journey to their dream is not going the way they want. God knows that there is a 'short cut' but there is danger there. God knows where the trouble is and guides you away from it. There are some people in prison today because they opted for a 'short cut'. For some others, the business worked out and they were enjoying the proceeds but years down the line, an investigation started and that's where their trouble started.

MIDWEEK SERVICE AT CE CENTRAL CHURCH 1: The Esteemed Zonal Director,  Pastor Joy Amenkhienan inspires the brethren to maintain their spiritual relationship with God. Excerpts of the service: ⚫ Your relationship with God is spiritual. Be conscious of that spiritual relationship. ⚫ Romans 1:9 says " For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son..." Paul didn't need man to bear him witness. ⚫ God cannot trust some people because of their character. What is your character like? Would you be called an unstable person, whose words cannot be trusted? Remember, your stability is your promotion. ⚫ Look into the mirror of the Word and delete from your life those things that are inconsistent with your Word.  ⚫ Be someone that can be trusted with anything you are told to do. Be dependable. #cephzone3

MIDWEEK SERVICE AT CE CENTRAL CHURCH 1 - HIGHLIGHTS The Esteemed Zonal Director awakens the urgency for the work of the Kingdom, teaching the brethren to make every moment count with the Lord: ⚫ Are there things God has told you to do that you have overlooked? If the roll is called up yonder, would your name be called? ⚫ What will you account for in the year of Spreading? What has your contribution been? Give attention to the temple. Remember, you are adding to the building blocks of the temple when you win a soul. ⚫ Be more conscious now than ever that Jesus is coming soon. Become detached from everything. We are pilgrims here and we are on a journey. ⚫ Take every second, minute, hour as an opportunity to add another building block to the temple. PLAN YOUR TIME; YOUR DAY AND YOUR WEEK, BECAUSE YOU WILL ACCOUNT FOR EVERY TIME YOU USED. #cephzone3

WEDNESDAY SPECIAL SERVICE WITH PASTOR CHRIS. (LCC 3) 20th July 2016 SATAN, SIN,  DARKNESS 1 Pet 5:7- Jms 4:7- Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you' If God says the devil will flee, he will. I have power over the devil. Jesus said so. Satan is defeated and has no authority over me. Satan has no dominion over me. What about Sin? Do you really want to stop it? Rm 6:14- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What should my response be? 'I am under grace and under grace I can live to please God. I am free from the bondage of sin. I declare that I am dead to sin but alive to God. I am dead to that habit but alive to God in the name of Jesus'. I am in charge that is why God says I should dis- allow that habit, that sin. When I say 'no' to it, my whole system complies. I yield my body to God in the name of the Lord Jesus. Sin has no dominion over me. Darkness refers to anything negative. Col 1:12-  I don't belong to the domain of darkness. Darkness and all of its influences has no dominion over me. I have no fear of darkness. I have been translated/ transferred into the kingdom of God's dear son . That is where I live. In the kingdom of light.

#ICLC2016 MOMENTS: "Makarios- Being Supremely Blessed!" Teaching from John 20:24- 29, Our Man of God, Pastor Chris unveiled a greater truth in the light of blessings being a product of faith. ...Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed .... " Makarios" means you are supremely blessed. It's a word of transportation. It means you have been lifted beyond this realm... Independent of circumstances... Its not just a bestowal but a lifting. Makarios is a blessing of separation. Others start seeing you as being supremely blessed. What a blessing! Christianity is much more than being a worshipper of God! Blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed, these are those that have been freed from their senses, freed from the flesh... Paul prayed in Ephesians 3:16-17 , That God would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith... That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith and not by feeling... What is the anointing? The anointing is the effect of the workings of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes it is also the impact or the impartation of the Holy Spirit's power. For example when the anointing comes on a cloth ( like the handkerchiefs and aprons as the Bible tells us), that's an impartation of His power on that material." #CEWARRIZONE
