#SundayTonic Rev. Tom "One of the greatest signs of a man being filled with the Spirit is that the word of God is not a second opinion for him' The Holy Spirit is not tongues. Speaking in tongues stirs up the power in you. Christian maturity is first found in your mouth. What do you say and how do you say it? The Holy Spirit will always direct your attention to the word of God. Acts 20:32 KJV And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. You have been commended to God and to the word of his grace not the word of his judgement! #NWRegion #NERegion
Happy 80th Birthday My Beautiful Mummy. My very first encounter with mummy, about 1986, when i visited the house then at iriajen. Though we all came to fellowship with our Pastor then, Mummy will ensure everybody ate. Though we came in droves, the supply of food never ceased. Then, i got married. Mummy made soups in large containers that would last for a while and sent to my house. I still remember her seating by me in the labour ward about to deliver my first baby, her singing was soothing and calming. Mummy always checks on the children. Mummy always wants to be sure you are in touch with your parents and siblings, by constantly finding out when last you communicated with them Mummy always prays for me, prayers i never forget, because they came from her heart. 21 DAYS PRAYER AND FASTING FOR NIGERIA PRAYER POINTS FOR SATURDAY 17TH FEBRUARY 2018 1. Thank God for the opportunity to pray and effect changes these 21 days. Thank Him for hearing our prayers and making the power available for the desired changes. Thank Him for the changes and adjustments that are already taking place in every aspect of this country: in the civil service, in the executive, judiciary and legislative arms of Government, in the security forces, in education, everywhere. We are making impact, and we see the changes. JEREMIAH 32:26-27 – Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, 27Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? JAMES 5:16b [AMPC] – The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. 2. Pray and declare an outpouring of grace and greater boldness in the hearts of God’s children all over this nation, to lead men to Christ like never before. Declare that the saints are emboldened and granted strategies, access and utterance to bring the message of Christ’s love to everyone in their world with signs, wonders and miracles, transforming lives and leading many in the way of righteousness. ACTS 4:31 - And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. 3. We declare concerning Nigeria that evil men are being rooted out of office, all who hate peace and love violence, men of corruption, greed and selfishness are being brought down from positions of influence and authority to make way for men of peace and righteousness, men with a patriotic spirit. All who are against the gospel of Jesus Christ and against the church melt like wax before the Lord; their place is taken up speedily by godly men who favour God’s cause in our nation. The political structure of our nation is changing; the saints arise in glory, bringing righteousness into governance. PROVERBS 4:18-19 – But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mour 4. Pray for righteousness to prevail in our legislature, that Legislators at all levels in Nigeria would work conscious of their role as representatives of the people and not lords over them. We pray that all Legislators who mortgage the future of their constituents for selfish gain by supporting bills and taking positions that are detrimental to the people, are losing favour, influence and authority; their ill-gotten wealth will suddenly fail and their political ambitions will be truncated. JUDE 1:11 – Woe upon them! For they follow the example of Cain who killed his brother, and like Balaam, they will do anything for money; and like Korah, they have disobeyed God... 5. Pray for Christians in government in this nation; declare that they are bold and courageous to remain uncompromisingly righteous in spite of pressure to conform, and that their integrity will bring them honour. Pray that they would use their positions and authority to favour God’s righteous cause, help the church and foster the spread of the gospel in our Nation. ESTHER 4:13–14 MSG: “Don’t think that just because you live in the king’s house you’re the one Jew who will get out of this alive. If you persist in staying silent at a time like this, help and deliverance will arrive for the Jews from someplace else; but you and your family will be wiped out. Who knows? Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this.” 6. Pray for the will, desire and boldness in the hearts of our leaders to do what is right, and refuse to yield to corruption and negative influences; that peace may prevail in this nation and the gospel may have free course. Declare that all leaders who exalt and pursue their personal or sectorial agendas to the detriment of the nation would suddenly be unseated and have no part in the glorious future of our great nation. ISAIAH 32:1 – Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. JOB 18:5, 8, 17 - Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine…For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare…His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street
