RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 11TH JUNE 2021 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 3:2). Matthew, in the verse above, used the term, “the kingdom of heaven” as he talked about the message that John the Baptist came preaching. But when you read Mark’s account, he (Mark) used the term, “the kingdom of God”: “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). Whenever the writers of the Synoptic gospels—Matthew, Mark and Luke report the same event, with some disparity, Matthew’s account is likely to be the most verbatim in quoting Jesus, because among the three writers, he was the only one of the twelve apostles, hearing directly from Jesus. A good example is when He used the expression “kingdom of heaven” and when He used “kingdom of God.” You might ask, “Is there a difference between the two?” Though synonymously used, both expressions are clearly different. The Kingdom of Heaven is that part of the Kingdom of God established in the earth, and headed by Jesus. In fact, the Greek rendering is “Kingdom of the heavens,” which means a kingdom from heaven. “Kingdom of God” refers to the rulership of God, the dominion of God, the realm of God. The Kingdom of God is universal; it goes beyond mere territories. It goes as far as to your heart—which is why the Kingdom of God can be established in your heart. Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21). Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of Heaven in the earth, to project the Kingdom of God, as the ambassador of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Heaven is the Embassy of the Kingdom of God. So, Jesus sets up His headquarters in the earth and His job is to bring people into God’s Kingdom. In essence, the Kingdom of Heaven is about the work of Jesus Christ in the earth; it’s the extension of the Kingdom of God in the earth, headed by Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of Heaven is here now, of which we’re a part. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, what a life you’ve brought to us, and brought us into! I thank you for the Kingdom of God has been set up in my heart: the peace, the beauty, the glory, grace, and the life of God are fully functional in my spirit; expressed in and through me. I’m determined, more than ever, to tell the whole world this glorious news. The Kingdom of God is here in Christ and functional now in my heart. Blessed be God! FURTHER STUDY: John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Matthew 10:7 Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Acts 2:22-47 & 2 Chronicles 8-11 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 1:1-10 & Deuteronomy 9

Global Fasting & Prayer beginning today, Saturday 1st - Monday 3rd May. Sometimes, prayer has to be coupled with fasting when times get tough and rough. The prophets, Jesus, and the apostles showed us the importance of fasting. Thus, on certain occasions and seasons as this, we're led to fast and pray more often than usual. Fasting for each day of 1st to 3rd of May, will be from 6am to 6pm. You may break it at 4pm if you need to. As much as possible, apart from your personal times of prayer, pray together with a group or your church as the Pastor directs. You can also join online at http://pastorchrislive.org During prayer, give time and attention to worshipping the Lord with thanksgiving. Pray specially for the nations of the world, that they be brought into alignment with the prophetic timing, plan and purpose of God as delivered to us in the scriptures. With the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, forbid and overturn Satan's plan and agenda to control the governments and nations of the world before the time, for they're not hitherto given into his hands, which shall be hereafter. By the authority of the living Lord Jesus Christ, break the dominion and influence of Satan and demons over the leaders of government and their peoples, which has been exercised through fear mongering and coercion. Pray for ministers, saints of God and the churches of Christ to be protected and delivered from the Satanic deception of these last days. The Lord hear our prayer and have compassion on His people, the churches of Christ, and the nations of the world. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 28TH MARCH 2021 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SERVE THE LORD HEARTILY And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines (1 Samuel 7:3). We’re in the final moments of the last days, and it’s important that you’re focused on the Lord, serving Him heartily. The Bible says, “You may as well know this too…that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian” (2 Timothy 3:1 TLB). Notice it doesn’t say, “It shall be impossible to be a Christian,” but “difficult.” So, it’s telling you to serve the Lord, regardless and independent of circumstances or persecution. This isn’t the time to hide your Christian identity. Nothing whatsoever should be viable enough to take your attention away from the Lord and His Kingdom. Some are only fervent in serving the Lord when everything seems rosy, when their business is thriving and their finances are booming. But the true test comes when trouble strikes, and they get discouraged, and suddenly lose their fervour. Some others only serve the Lord during times of challenges. But as soon as they have a miracle and are out of the dilemma, their commitment to the Lord immediately wanes. Something is wrong. Don’t let that happen to you. Be on fire for the Lord all the time. Be instant in season, and out of season. Let nothing compete with, or inhibit your love for and commitment to Christ. The Bible says, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord…” (1 Corinthians 15:58). When everything is going smoothly, be steadfast. And when it’s a period of adversity, serve the Lord heartily still. The Bible says, “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small” (Proverbs 24:10). Colossians 3:23 tells us, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord….” Praise God! PRAYER Dear Lord, I’m always active in my service to you, in truth, with all my heart. I refuse to be slothful in the dealings of the Spirit; I’m fervent, serving you wholeheartedly, rejoicing in hope, and patient in times of trouble. I remain steadfast and unmovable, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Romans 12:11-12 AMPC Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer. 1 Corinthians 15:58 AMPC Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 7:36-50 & Joshua 1-2 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 26:26-35 & Exodus 37

Prayer Time - 15mins 1. THANK THE LORD FOR THE PROPHETIC WORDS RELEASED, THE MINISTRATION OF HIS WORD AND THE CHANGES WE HAVE MADE BY HIS SPIRIT  Psalm 118:19,23-24 |TPT The Lord himself is the one who has done this, and it’s so amazing, so marvelous to see! This is the very day of the Lord that brings gladness and joy, filling our hearts with glee. Pray earnestly in tongues, thanking the Lord for every prophetic word uttered, the ministration of His Word and the impact we have made through our prayers during the just concluded Global Day of Prayer. Sing melodies unto Him, praise Him, for He is an able God, merciful and His mercy endures forever. Declare that it's a new day for the church and we will rejoice and be glad in it. 2. PRAY FOR YOUR LOVED ONES Acts 16:31-34|TPT They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved—you and all your family.” Then they prophesied the word of the Lord over him and all his family. Even though the hour was late, he washed their wounds. Then he and all his family were baptized. He took Paul and Silas into his home and set them at his table and fed them. Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the visions of the great future that You have for me. My heart is flooded with light to see, comprehend, and apprehend my glorious destiny in Christ. I follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as He unveils His plans and strategies to me in executing the ideas You give me for success in life and ministry. Thank You for leading me in the path of Your righteousness, wisdom, and glory. I declare that I have the life of Christ and His calling on my life, therefore, I lead a life worthy of the calling with which I’ve been called. I have a holy and high calling; I am separated from the world unto Christ. I live in a way that is befitting of someone God has chosen to be His. I am one in whom Christ dwells; thus, I refuse to permit sin, sickness, failure or the works of the evil one in my life. My life is for the glory of God. The participation in and sharing of my faith produces and promotes full recognition, appreciation, understanding, and precise knowledge of every good thing that is in me in Christ Jesus. I acknowledge the life of Christ in me and His call on my life. I am fit for what God has called me to be, and by His power, He fulfils every good purpose of mine and every act prompted by faith. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I fulfil my calling and walk in God’s prearranged path for my life. I am guided in wisdom to walk in God’s perfect will, to walk in health, strength, victory, and prosperity, living the transcendent life in Christ, and fulfilling God’s good pleasure, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah! • Keep saying it, publish it everywhere; noise it abroad! In Christ, we’ve got something to shout about. Let’s flood the airwaves, internet and print media with the reality of Christ. Speak in other tongues now. ~ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. 6. Closing prayer - 2mins
