And the moment came; THE CLIMATIC POINT we all were awaiting! The highly esteemed CMD came on and ministered in a very stirring ‘Exhortation for Leaders’. What a word! Phew!
“God has given us leadership of the world. Our Campus Ministry is the largest vehicle/opportunity to reach a vast world; the largest community of educated young, old and everything that operates within that community. This meeting is a call to responsibility. Pastor told us many years ago that, ‘the campus is one of the most difficult places to practice your believing. If you win there, you’ll win in life’. This is your time now.
Reading from Hebrews 11:1-2, he exhorted that, Faith isn’t for getting things from God. It’s for doing BIG things for God. “BY IT, the elders obtained a good report- a good testimonial”. Good testimonials are not just given/awarded; they’re ‘obtained’! Impossible is nothing. Impossible only means nobody has done it, you can do it!
In the annals of Faith, what will be said about you in 2020? What will be said about your cell, chapter, group,? You must obtain! DARE!! Faith is working when you set your eyes on the largest facility on Campus and pack it out. Faith is working when you say you’ll do 200,000 copies of ROR and you do it!
This is war! We’re not playing games! Raise your faith! Raise your vision! If the devil could play the game he played on this world earlier this year, then we will be so vicious in our assault! We mean business here!
1 Chronicles 12:8 God wants you a man of might, Fit for the battle, able to do big things. Not like the children of Ephraim who though armed, fled. Our faces are like the faces of lions! We mean business. As the chapter Pastor or coordinator, if you’re not outdoing you’re past, if you’re not aiming higher, you’ll be raising lambs instead of lions.
We are an army and there’s 3 types of men in our army:
- Men of might
- Men of war
- Mighty men wealth (Ruth 2:1)
Choose the life of IMPACT. Christ is revealed in you so you can reveal Him to your world (Galatians 1:15-16). So shine Him forth! You shine through soulwinning- Soulwinning is the greatest expression of the life in you. When we meet Jesus, our report is all about the gospel.
1. We are sent
2. We must work His works
3. The time is now
4. The night would come
When you’re done, you should be able to say, I CAME, SAW, & CONQUERED!
Throw yourself into this work for Christ. You’re not wasting your time. You’re ahead of your peers who aren’t serving the Lord. Time is the proof of wisdom. In time you’ll see.
