ℹ INSIGHT with Pastor Uyi July 13, 2021 𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗟𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 A long time ago, when I just started pastoring, a Deacon who was not a member of my congregation called me one morning, and asked if I would be interested in a car he recently purchased, (a Mercedes Benz 230) but was no longer interested in owning it. "If you want it Pastor Uyi, just come and carry it. It's yours" he said. Of course you rightly guessed my response: A massive and jubilant YES. That turned out to be my very first car, and it came by the Holy Ghost. Few months later, Pastor Chris was having a Mega Program in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. I planned and got set to attend. And this time, I would be travelling in my own car, instead of public transport. In the morning that I was to set out on my journey to Benin City, a thought crossed my mind: "Why travel to Benin with an empty boot. Why not buy baskets of tomatoes as gifts to give out, when you get to Benin?" Without pondering over the thought longer, I concluded that it was wise. So I set out to the Vegetable Market in Abuja, bought three baskets full of luscious tomatoes and began my journey. It was quite late when I arrived Benin, so I decided to give out the baskets of tomatoes before I head home. The closest recipient to me was the Deacon who gifted me with the car few months earlier. They appreciated the basket of tomatoes. Next, I headed to the Church Office in Benin to hand a basket to Pastor Joy Amenkhienan (for the Most Rev. Tom and Pastor Joy were in Benin at the time). On reaching the church office, a staff told me that Pastor Joy was not available; that I should hold on to the basket of tomatoes. After taking my details, she promised to reach Pastor Joy and get back to me. Thus I went home and gave the third basket of tomatoes to my mum, as I earlier planned. The next morning, very early, I was jolted out of my sleep by several phone calls. I recognized the voice of this staff that was calling. It was someone I knew quite well. She said "Pastor Uyi, please where are you?" "I'm at home" I answered. Then she said "Please how fast can you come to the office with the basket of tomatoes? "Immediately" I said, then headed to the office to deliver it! On arrival, this staff got into my car quickly and said "let me take you to where you will drop the basket." Ofcourse I obliged, but on our way, she began to quiz me intensely. "Why did you decide to give Pastor Joy a basket of tomatoes? Why tomatoes?" I responded with a smile. Again, she said "Seriously why tomatoes, did Pastor Joy call you?" "Definitely not" I replied. "Okay, did anybody call you?" she asked. Now I was concerned, but at that moment, we had just arrived at the front of the house where I was to drop the basket. We horned at the gate to announce our presence and immediately the gates were opened. I saw a crowd of women waiting to receive us with Pastor Joy, herself, leading them. They were all beaming with smiles as Pastor Joy welcomed me, then turned to the women and said, "Did I not tell you?" They all responded in jubilation and tongues. On our way back to drop the staff, I parked on the way. Now it was my turn to quiz her. And I said, "what's going on?" Then, she began to tell me the reason she had been quizzing me before: "Tomatoes had been ridiculously scarce in Benin," she said "for just five pieces of it, you'd have to dole out so much money to buy it and now no one is willing to sell." The women, needing tomatoes to prepare meals for all Ministry's guests coming for the program, had been mounting pressure on Pastor Joy. And Pastor Joy had been talking in tongues and dispatching angels on this matter. There and then, I realized that I had being a part of the miraculous ... without knowing it. It was just a good idea for me, but unknown to me, the Woman of God's faith was living and active and her angels located me with a 'good idea' and hastened my steps to the Vegetable Market in Abuja. "But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" Hebrews 1:13-14 KJV Your angels are with you even now, awaiting instructions. Be mindful of their presence and dispatch them on assignments. God bless you. #KINGINGᴡɪᴛʜPᴀsᴛᴏʀUʏɪ 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧
ℹ INSIGHT WITH PASTOR UYI July 5, 2021 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 Once upon a time, in the then Abuja Zone with the amiable Rev Ray Okocha in charge, our President, Rev (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, was coming to town for a Program. As expected, the entire zone was excited and mobilized for the program. Committees of different kinds were set up and series of meetings began holding almost on a daily basis. Preparations were in top gear. During one of those early intense meetings, Rev. Ray began to assign the Group Pastors to head the key committees. I was assigned to head the Transportation for the program, which was to hold at the Eagle Square in Abuja. Every committee had so much to do in preparation. I began to pen down my thoughts and ideas for the Transportation unit; we were responsible for liaising with various transport outfits, securing their Mass Transit buses, and organizing to move people to and from all the Satellite towns in Abuja, from Suleja – Niger state, and as far as from Keffi in Nasarawa State. This was no child’s play. Yet, towards the end of that meeting while still penning my thoughts, Rev. said, “Pastor Uyi will head the Security Committee.” Instantly, I thought that he misspoke. If he had added 'also’ to the statement above, I would have been reassured that he knew he had earlier asked me to handle transportation. I convinced myself that when the minutes of the meeting would be sent, he would have realized the error and rectified it. But, when the minutes of the meeting arrived, it was exactly as he had said it the day before. My concern was simple: Transportation (securing and dispersing the buses could not be done by proxy). I would have to be at the offices of the transport companies to receive, account for, and dispatch the buses to various Marshals from each Group. This was non-negotiable. Security also, was crucial and sensitive. How was I to handle Transportation outside the venue and coordinate security with the tens of thousands of people expected for the Program at the venue? And to complicate matters, the Man of God had spoken with no apologies. That day I understood clearly 1Samuel 30:6b ...”but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” Two things came to my spirit as I pondered over the matter: (1). I would require divine grace for this. I required increased capacity. (2). I said to myself, there was grace present when these pronouncements were made in that meeting. I would therefore key into that grace also for the solution. Not long after I accepted both reasoning, the solution dropped in my spirit: When the event began, I had organized Security in such a way that with a phone call, I could get anything done in and around the venue. Then I relocated to the office of the transport company to carry out my task. I felt very cool with myself as events played out smoothly on the D-day. I had received increased capacity I never had before. Interestingly, about an hour to the commencement of the Program, Rev. Ray called me. "Pastor Uyi, where are you?” I replied,” Sir I am with the Transport Company at their bus terminal.” And I went ahead to brief him on how many buses had been released to the various Groups and that we were on course. “That's good,” he said, "Now I want to leave the venue through the back gate, so open it." I said yes Sir and with a call, the gates were opened for him to go through, in less than 2 minutes. Then I realized he knew what he was doing in the first place because I just told him that I was at the Motor Park, yet he asked me to open the gates for him, still. He definitely saw and yanked out the increased capacity in me that I hadn’t known was there. Beloved, we just got back from the International Cell Leaders Conference (ICLC 2021) and there was so much inspiration to go around. For many, the Holy Ghost spoke clearly; others had pictures dropped by the Spirit in their hearts; yet some saw visions, glimpses of what could be. Those were signs of the Spirit whispering "Increased Capacity.” What are you going to do about it? #KINGINGᴡɪᴛʜPᴀsᴛᴏʀUʏɪ 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧

ℹ INSIGHT with Pastor Uyi NO TEMPORAL PLANS WITH GOD Many years ago, I relocated to Abuja, Nigeria and after a couple of months, I had an accommodation challenge. Consequently, I had to move to Madalla (a suburb of Suleja) Niger state. This movement was to be a temporal one that was to last for a maximum period of three (3) weeks. After which I would return to an accommodation in Abuja. It was a simple plan. On my second day of arrival in Madalla, I noticed that the place was densely populated. Souls everywhere. So, I came up with another plan: Win souls, start a cell and after three weeks, hand the cell over to the most committed person in the cell while I return back to Abuja. I went into action immediately. By the end of that first week, I had a brand new cell with nine (9) souls as members. I was elated. And, in my excitement, I related my good news to a church staff PRIVATELY. She smiled and congratulated me. The next Sunday, before the end of the service, the then Head Pastor of Christ Embassy Abuja, Pastor Siji Dara, made an announcement with much excitement: ‘’Glory to God, we will now have a Christ Embassy Church in Suleja and Brother Uyi will be starting it.” There was resounding applause all around the church hall and those seated around me whispered congratulations to me. I managed to smile back at them but all the while, my eyes scanned the hall for that particular church staff I had talked with. And soon enough I located her; if looks could maim, she would have left that service a different person. Nonetheless, after the announcement, I went to work and God’s grace was mighty upon us. We grew and soon enough became a Group with fourteen (14) churches within and around Suleja. I ended up remaining in Suleja and pastoring that Group for eleven (11) years instead of my simple three (3) weeks plan. Today, Suleja remains a thriving Group under the vibrant, newly created, Abuja Zone and I hear that Zone is about to have a major mega crusade in Suleja. Glory to God! Beloved, there’s really no time to waste. Start now: Win souls, start a new cell, outreach, fellowship, etc. Don’t delay. Don’t procrastinate. You may never know how far or how much God intends to do with your soul winning efforts until you start. So, start and keep going. God bless you. #KINGINGwithPastorUyi FOLLOW THIS SUPERUSER ACCOUNT
ℹ INSIGHT with Pastor Uyi IT IS BIBLE TRADITION Recently, someone asked me an interesting question. She said, “Pastor, I have noticed that in this past ministry calendar year, you have travelled to different places to go hear the Word. It must mean that you have so much money, for I know that these trips cost a lot." Though I could relate to her question, it dawned on me that I never saw it from that perspective. You see, I attended the program with Dr. Morris Cerullo in Lagos just about a week after we returned from IPPC 2018. Then I was in Lagos for both the MBTC (Minister Bible Training Course) in February 2019 and the ICLC (International Cell Leaders Conference) in June 2019. Again, I attended the WEC (World Evangelism Conference) in London, UK and interestingly, I happened to be in Dallas, Texas barely a week after the WEC, when Pastor paid that beautiful surprise visit to C.E Arlington. (There he further explained the WEC message ... that was glorious, I tell you.) Then, I was privileged to attend the ANOB (A Night of Blessings) and the subsequent meetings in Accra Ghana. Finally, by divine arrangement, I attended the glorious just concluded IPPC 2019. So yes, I could relate to her question. Answering her I said, "it is bible tradition to go where the anointing is." Jesus pitched his headquarters in Capernaum and the people journeyed there. The Apostles made Jerusalem their headquarters and all roads led to Jerusalem. Even, Naaman had enough sense to make the journey to Samaria to see the Man of God, Elisha, (instead of insisting that the Man of God come to him, since he was a man of wealth and status) 2 Kings chapter 5. So, I said to her; Jesus 👉Capernaum The Apostles 👉Jerusalem Pastor Chris 👉(Hmmmm) Everywhere he goes. No journey is too great when one finds what he seeks - Friedrich Nietzsche Beloved, remember Pastor defined success as “impacting the world with the IN.VESTMENT of your personality.” Wisdom demands you make that investment, for that is the foundation. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV It is Bible Tradition to go where the anointing is. #KINGINGwithPastorUyi FOLLOW THIS SUPERUSER ACCOUNT
