๐—ž๐—œ๐—ก๐—š๐—œ๐—ก๐—š FAITH IN THE WORD bit.ly/WithRhapsody "The Word of God is the answer to every trouble." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of Sept 30th, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, reiterates that you should act your faith in the Word. WE READ: On a certain occasion, after His resurrection, the Lord Jesus appeared to His disciples as they rounded off a fruitless fishing mission. The disciples had toiled all night and caught nothing. Then Jesus said to them, โ€œ...Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you shall find...โ€ (John 21:6). The Bible says, โ€œโ€ฆthey threw the net out and could not pull it back in, because they had caught so many fishโ€ (John 21:6 TEV). Imagine if they had argued with Jesus! They had faith in His Word and thatโ€™s where the fish came fromโ€”the Word of God. The Bible says, โ€œThrough faith, we understand that THE WORLDS WERE FRAMED BY THE WORD OF GOD...โ€ (Hebrews 11:3). The fishes were framed by the Word of the Master. Jesus set a precedence for us on how to live triumphantly every day, how to experience the miraculous through faith in the Word. Consider this: A certain Centurionโ€™s servant was sick and dying. Then the Centurion sent the elders of the Jews to beseech Jesus to come heal his servant. The Master agreed, but almost immediately, the Centurion sent words back to Jesus saying, โ€œYou donโ€™t have to come under my roof; just say the word, and my servant shall be healedโ€ (Luke 7:2-7). When Jesus heard the words of the Centurion, the Bible says He marvelled at his faith and said, โ€œI have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.โ€ When the messengers got back to the Centurionโ€™s house, they found the sick servant perfectly whole at the word of Jesus (Luke 7:9-10). Whatโ€™s your desire? In which area do you require a change or a miracle? Act your faith in Godโ€™s Word. The Word of God is the answer to every trouble. You donโ€™t have to become suicidal because you lost your job or business. You can trust the Lord for something better. Heโ€™s the God who quickens (gives life to) the dead. He can give you back, and much more, all that you thought you lost. Even now, act on His Word. He said in John 14:14, โ€œIf ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do itโ€; ask whatever you will, knowing Heโ€™s bound by His Word and never fails. Glory to God forevermore. Today was the Monday everyone waited for. Bimisola has had seven days of the most challenging times since the Principal announced her trial for preaching and converting Muslims to Christians. But as Bim walked to her class with a glow like the shimmer of the rising sun, and pictures of a joyous calgary, million claps, gyrating troops and uncountable thumbs-ups filling her senses, she felt on top of the world. This week in GGC Mahuri was Assesment Week. No one ever wanted to be below 85%. Bimisola left her sleeping roommates so she could prepare for the coming tests before assembly time. After all, she had made certain the Principal's verdict. Hours passed. The assembly was coming to an end when the Principal said, "Deputy Head Girl, Bimisola Kudehinbu, should see me immediately at my office. Have a rewarding assessment week, everyone." "We'll hang around till you come out of Princi's office, okay?" Her friends gave her warm hugs. Bimisola entered the Principal's office. It was a large beautiful space with awards, pictures, and books arrayed as chic decor. All four DC members were seated to the left of the room. "How are you, young lady?" Mrs. Aishatu Ndanusa, the GGC Mahuri's Principal, was a towering figure that wore a stern look with her glasses edged away from the actual bridge of her nose. "Good morning, Ma. Fine, thank you, Ma." Bim clasped both hands in front. "I have reviewed your case and the verdict from the Disciplinary Committee. Here's what I'm going to do. I will let you off with a warning. Face your books, and take pride in what you are accomplishing for yourself, your parents, and your school. Have I made myself clear, young lady?" "Yes, ma." "Go! Go! You have tests to write." Bimisola skipped out of the office. All four DC members looked stunned, a mixed air of delight, relief, unbelief, and anger. Bim didn't see. Entering into the waiting arms of her friends, she screamed, "We have tests to write! Glory to God." As they all skipped and hopped jubilantly, Ruby asked, "How did this happen?" Bimisola giggled, "Pastor Melissa had shown me this sentence in a book where Pastor Chris said that a prayer of agreement has to do with establishing a decree authoritatively. Not begging that something be done. So, after service, we made a prayer of agreement and declared what Princi should say to me. And, that's exactly what she said." ""Pleeeease, which book is that?" They all asked. "How to Pray Effectively." #yookreadingparty

It was Sunday. The service was almost over. Bimisola listened as the teaching began coming to a crescendo. It was an exhortation from 1 John Chapter 4. The FCS chapel was always held at the dining hall. Christian students met together every Sunday for fellowship. GGC Mahuri maintained a quartely roster of ministers who would come to chapel to fellowship with christian students and teachers. Now, Bim was on the edge of her seat, swaying back and forth as light flooded her spirit with the rhema of God's Word. The Word, it seemed, was meant for her. Bim's heart vibrated with the words, "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" Suddenly, it felt like a water valve burst open. She was washed over with glory as she saw something remarkable in the most simple way possible. She saw that the one in her is greater. The one in her is greater than the DC. The one in her is greater than the Principal. In that instant, Bim understood that she was in a position of greater power. The decision, whether or not to be expelled, was neither with the DC nor the Principal. She was higher in the scale of hierarchy. It was that simple. The force of rhema jolted Bim off her seat. At first, she began pacing at the back of the hall. Then, she couldn't keep still. She was jogging in a frenzy. Jogging on the spot in fast forward mode. And shouting, "Glory, Glory, Glory I got it." Her gyrations were on cue with the minister's instruction for everyone to "stand up and make faith filled declarations!" Everyone prayed lifting up holy hands, but Bim was beside herself. She had desired a word from the Lord. She had dreamed of the word strengthening her. She had very high expectations for the service. Yet, this was gloriously overwhelming. So glorious that Bimisola started to cry. As the streams found their way from her eyes and poured unhindered over her face, she felt washed over with the love of God. Sunday services like these were the hallmark of the operations of God's Spirit whenever Pastor Melissa ministered. And there Pastor Melissa stood, before the students, in all the power of God's presence as she ended the prayers and called for the grace. As grace was said, Bimisola whispered into the air, "Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord for Pastor Melissa." Bimisola was thankful. She knew exactly what to do to keep herself in school. It was the simplest thing, ever. #yookreadingparty

Soon enough, I gained acceptance into one of the government Parastatals over there and was posted to the Head Quarters to commence my Youth Service. All went well in those days and I became the Coordinator of Corpers' LoveWorld Katsina (a thriving fellowship then, which eventually became the Christ Embassy Church in Katsina). About eight months into my service year, the new batch of Youth Corpers were admitted into the NYSC scheme and had arrived at the Orientation Camp Ground located in Dutsin Ma Local Government Area. In those days, it was tradition to go to the Camp, set up our Fellowship there, welcome the new intakes, and engage in evangelism day & night, so as to win and retain as much souls as possible to the Lord and into our Fellowship. Outside the fact that it was a tradition, I also heard the Holy Ghost asking me to go to the Camp. Thus, I was excited about it and mobilized the brethren with me for the breath-taking adventure. Days later, I went to the office in the government Parastatal where I was serving and applied in writing for a two-week leave. Before now, I was the darling of the staff there, especially the Comptroller, a Muslim, who had on several occasions commended my calm disposition and demeanour. In less than 30 minutes, the Comptroller had responded positively to my letter. My leave request was granted swiftly. Then I thought within myself that I was not very honest in my request letter. I reasoned that I had not indicated my purpose for requesting the leave. So, I decided to write a second letter, but this time to indicate my reason for the leave request. In hindsight, this action is very laughable and I am almost ashamed to pen it down, but then, like Joseph I had not learnt to not tell everything to everyone. Thus, I sent in my second request letter and this time it came out twice as fast as the first. The Comptroller's reply was "NO NO NO! Not Approved, Not Granted." It didn't stop there, the Comptroller himself came out personally to verbally tell me "No." But the Lord had said to go, so I went. In Camp, the expedition was super successful. Many got saved and came into our Fellowship, the miraculous was ever present with us, and other LoveWorld brethren of the new batch of Corpers were excited and relieved to find 'family' in Camp. It was glorious. Meanwhile, trouble was brewing back at my place of primary assignment. A week into my leave, a colleague of mine travelled to Camp and told me to return immediately, revealing that the Comptroller had written to the NYSC office and terminated my deployment to his parastatal. Well, my work was not yet done in the Camp. I thanked her for the concern but remained in Camp. By the end of the two weeks, I arrived the office and the entire staff seemed to be waiting for me. Quickly, I was ushered into the Comptroller's office and he ordered me to report back to the NYSC secretariat, which I did. Interestingly, the Secretariat deliberated on the matter and told the Comptroller that it was too late in the year to send a Youth Corper back, and that should the Comptroller insist, his Government Parastatal would be struck out of the Deployment list and blacklisted. Eventually, I was accepted back to the Parastatal, but with a Condition: No pay for my last remaining 3 months in the service year. Those three months turned out to be trying times but I was undeterred. And, I pulled through. In retrospect, that entire year shaped the person I became, for I learnt duty, loyalty, and activism in serving the Lord. And, that was when the Holy Spirit exposed me to Mark 10.29 - 30. โ€œAnd Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. -Mark 10:29โ€ญ-โ€ฌ30 In these last days, being a kingdom activist is the only option on the ballot. It may cost you something, even your neck but eventually, the distress, at best, falls under "light affliction." It is a matter of life and death.

๐—ž๐—œ๐—ก๐—š๐—œ๐—ก๐—š IN YOUR TRUST FOR THE LORD bit.ly/WithRhapsody "Trust that He alone knows and has the blueprint for your life." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of Sept 27th, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, reiterates that you should trust the lord with your life. WE READ: Being trusting isnโ€™t the same as being gullible, and recognising this distinction is essential because thereโ€™re gullible people who think theyโ€™re trusting. To be gullible means to be easily deceived. But children arenโ€™t easily deceived; theyโ€™re usually trusting. They trust your character. Adults, however, can be gullible. An adult will try to reason out whatever heโ€™s told before he trusts it, and he may not give much concern to the character of the one heโ€™s trusting. If you hold out a child from the balcony, for example, and ask someone else whom the child trusts to stay at the ground-floor and catch him, the child will be ready to let go because he trusts the one at the ground floor. The child may not know if the fellow downstairs has the power or ability to catch him, but he believes he wouldnโ€™t let him fall. Thatโ€™s the kind of childlike faith youโ€™re to have towards God. The Lord Jesus admonished in Matthew 18:3 (AMPC) that we be like little children, โ€œโ€ฆ[trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving]โ€ฆ.โ€ He wants you to trust the character of God. His character is made plain in the Word; He never fails. Boldly place your confidence in Him to fulfil His purpose in your life. Sometimes, many try to โ€œhelpโ€ God out in doing what He intends. Perhaps, Heโ€™s given you a vision or ministered some ideas to you relating to your purpose, and youโ€™re so excited and eager to see everything work out, which is good! But if youโ€™re not trusting and yielded to the Holy Spirit, you may try to play โ€œGod.โ€ You may be playing His role by trying to help Him in your own wisdom. But the end result wonโ€™t be pleasant. The best of all is to trust that He alone knows and has the blueprint for your life. Take a cue from Abraham who trusted and followed the Lord even though He didnโ€™t know where God was leading Him. The Bible says, โ€œBy faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he wentโ€ (Hebrews 11:8). Soulwinning continues till first flight #ylw #WritingThisGospel

Armed men attacked the block of flats where I lived. By the time they were done; windows were shattered, doors knocked down, residents harassed, some badly injured, and two persons killed. My flat was the first downstairs. We had moved in just that week. The gate of our house was wide open and unlocked. I was the last to sleep that night. It was December 2009, being barely two months old in Christ Embassy, I couldn't get enough of Pastor's Chris message. Late into that night, I listened to "Audacity of Faith." I went to bed speaking in tongues and full of the Spirit. The armed men came about 2pm. We heard them shattering windows, knocking down doors, and smacking people... We knew our flat was the very first facing the main gate. We knew the gate to our door was wide open. We knew by human calculation, we should have been first hit. Already we knew angels were on guard. So, we knelt down, I and my hubby, held hands, and spoke in tongues nonstop for what must have been an hour. The armed men visited every flat but ours. The armed men harassed every resident but us. The armed men traumatised everyone but us. It was a miracle no one could deny. We had just become members of Christ Embassy. We knew we had found home; where the supernatural is the natural. โ“„โ“ƒ โ’ปโ’พโ“‰โ“ƒโ’บโ“ˆโ“ˆ with Pastor Uyi Previously, we featured easy ways to walk up to 10,000 steps per day. Here are five (5) benefits to walking as a form of exercise. ๐Ÿ“ถ Improve Circulation Walking brings up the heart rate, lowers blood pressure and strengthens the heart.ย  ๐Ÿ“ถStrengthen Muscles & Support Joints Walking tones your leg and abdominal muscles โ€“ and even arm muscles if you pump them as you walk. This increases your range of motion, shifting the pressure and weight from your joints to your muscles. ๐Ÿ“ถ Lighten Mood Walking releases natural painยญkilling endorphins to the body โ€“ one of the emotional benefits of exercise. ๐Ÿ“ถ Improve Breathing When walking, your breathing rate increases, causing oxygen to travel faster through bloodstream, helping to eliminate waste products and improve your energy level and the ability to heal. ย  ๐Ÿ“ถ Lose Weight A brisk 30-minute walk burns 200 calories. Over time, calories burned can lead to pounds dropped. Keep Fit. Keep KINGING. #KINGINGwithPastorUyi FOLLOW THIS SUPERUSER ACCOUNT

๐—ž๐—œ๐—ก๐—š๐—œ๐—ก๐—š CONSCIOUS OF YOUR DIVINE ESSENCE bit.ly/WithRhapsody "If youโ€™d meditate on the God-life in you, youโ€™d never be sick another day of your life." -Pastor Chris IN TODAY'S RHAPSODY of Sept 26th, the Man of God, Pastor Chris, reiterates that you should live conscious of God's divine life in you. WE READ: Many donโ€™t understand the Spiritโ€™s language in the verse above when it says, โ€œYe are of Godโ€ฆโ€; it means you hail from God; youโ€™re born of Him. This is what makes the Christian a divine being, and not a mere human person. Hallelujah! This is where some have missed it; their lack of consciousness of who they really are in Christ. The Apostle John, addressing this, said in 1 John 5:13, โ€œThese things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal lifeโ€ฆ.โ€ God wants you to have the conscious, active knowledge that His life is in you. Youโ€™re a divine life-carrier; a God-conveyor. Referring to the Lord Jesus, the Bible says โ€œโ€ฆin him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in himโ€ฆโ€ (Colossians 2:9-10). Notice the expression, โ€œAnd ye are complete in Himโ€ฆ.โ€ This means all of divinity resides in you as it does Jesus. No wonder Peter calls us โ€œAssociates of the God-kindโ€; partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Youโ€™re filled or replete with God. Thatโ€™s what it means to be โ€œcomplete in Himโ€; nothing else needs to be in you to make you divine. This is why sickness, disease and infirmity canโ€™t be a part of your life. If youโ€™d meditate on the God-life in you, youโ€™d never be sick another day of your life. You were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:13). The same life that makes it impossible for God to get sick, be defeated or have anything โ€œhappenโ€ to Him is what you have in you. Your consciousness of this reality will make you eternally triumphant and walk in dominion every day of your life. Glory to God! Glory to God forevermore.
