IT'S OUR MONTH OF INSTRUCTION. BE A PROBLEM-SOLVER NOT A CRITIC — REV. (DR.) CHRIS OYAKHILOME. The world is full of two kinds of people – critics and problem-solvers. The critics are quick to condemn, without offering any solution regarding the object of their grievance. Even when they have to commend something (which they reluctantly do), they say, “Well, I like so-and-so, but I didn’t like that other thing.” They always find something to complain about! On the other hand, the problem solvers always ask themselves the question, “How can I make things better?” Jesus was a problem-solver. When He was told that the wine had finished at the marriage in Cana (John 2), He didn’t say, “How could the wine finish before the end of the party? What kind of poor party organisation is this? Not my Jesus! He solved the problem. When the multitude that came to hear Him was hungry and all they had were five loaves and two fishes (Matthew 14), He didn’t complain, “How could these people not have made proper feeding arrangements?” He solved the problem! You too must realise that the power to make positive changes in the world around you lies within you; if you don’t like the way something is, don’t complain and murmur – change it! Critics and complainers never make any lasting impact in the world. Rather, it’s the problem-solvers that the world is looking for and God’s people have been called to be just that! T.L Osborn said that success begins when you look out for a human need and reach out to meet that need, and it’s so true. Instead of criticising and complaining, ask yourself, “What can I do to solve this problem?” Don’t ever find yourself on the bandwagon of the critics and complainers. Learn to appreciate instead of criticize; learn to solve problems instead of complain. Remember that you are a change – agent; you should leave things better than the way you met them. . #INSTRUCTION #AUTOEDIFICATION #REFLECTION #INFLUENCE #SUPERNATURAL #AFFIRMATIONTRAIN

IT'S OUR MONTH OF CELEBRATING OUR RICHES. EMPOWERED TO HELP OTHERS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2). If you haven't made up your mind to enjoy your life, you can make that decision today, because that's God's will for you (John 10:10). He wants you to have good health, to be strong, vibrant, prosperous, and influential enough to help others. You have to be in a position of advantage to be able to lift others, and be a blessing. One has to be financially influential to make meaningful impact in spreading the Gospel around the world. In our ministry, for example, the tremendous impact we make all around the world, in hosting large crusades and conferences, airing TV programmes etc., cost lots of money. We're grateful to the Lord for empowering us to be able to do all that! Preaching the Gospel is akin to fishing in a river; it can be done in different ways. You could jump into the water, swim, and try to catch some fish with your hands; you won't get a lot of them that way though! You could also place a hook in a strategic spot in the water, and bait the fish to swallow the bait. You still may not get very many. Another option is to cast a net into the water. With the net, you'll more likely get a haul; a better result. However, it'll certainly cost you more to use the net. God wants us to be prosperous. Those who got acquainted with Jesus in the course of His earthly ministry became empowered to bless others; they had greater influence, reach and impact in their time. That's what He's done with your life; you're blessed to be a blessing. #celebrating #riches #instruction #supernatural #autoedification #reflection #influence #talkingsession #affirmationtrain #loveworld

YOUR TESTIMONY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony... (Revelation 12:11). A testimony is a statement or affirmation of a fact. In a court of law, for instance, a testimony is the aggregate of proof offered in a case; it’s the statement of a witness. Our opening scripture says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” The question is, “What’s your testimony?” Your testimony is your witness of Christ. It’s your declaration of the activity of His Word and grace in your life. What’s your testimony of Him? For me, I testify that I’m walking in His grace and in His victory! I testify that I’m winning in everything that I do! I testify that I’m excellent all the way! I testify that His grace is working in, for, and through me! I testify that the Lord is my Rock and my Strength! I testify that I’m more than a conqueror; greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world! Testify of your victories; testify of what He’s done in your life. Sometimes, the problem is that some people want to feel or see it first before they testify. But it’s not so. Testify! Don’t wait to feel or see anything; His Word is real; that should be the basis of your testimony; and that’s what overcomes the enemy, Satan. When people are crying, “Life is very hard these days,” you should declare, “I’m highly favoured and abundantly blessed of God!” That becomes your testimony, and with it, you overcome limitations. When you speak God’s Word and testify of Him, you bring His presence into the situation. Let His testimony be on your lips always—the testimony of His Word and efficacy of the Spirit to put you over and above every situation. Maintain God’s testimony of you; His testimony is that you’re a new creation in Christ Jesus! His testimony is that you’re more than a conqueror! Affirm the same things in consent with Him. Every day, say what God has said about you: “...He hath said…so that we may boldly say...” (Hebrews 13:5-6). The glorious things He has spoken about you in His Word (Psalm 87:3) are your testimonies! Proclaim them boldly. #happy #new #month #celebrating #riches #autoedification #reflection #influence #supernatural #talkingsession #affirmationtrain

IT'S OUR MONTH OF GATHERING SHEAVES. A MENTALITY OF PROSPERITY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.  And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger… (Leviticus 19:9-10). In the above scripture, God was giving some instructions to the children of Israel on what they should do when they harvest their grains. He said to them, “..Thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.” In other words, “Don’t harvest everything; don’t gather the gleanings.” He didn’t want them scratching for the leftovers; and it was a law. They were to leave some in the field, for the poor, the fatherless, and the widows.  There’re people who don’t know why they haven’t made much progress in their lives. Some of them have prayed and prayed, yet no change. But you see, God doesn’t fellowship with a man who has a mentality of poverty. There’s a mentality of prosperity and there’s a mentality of poverty. For instance, some people would use their clothes until those clothes are torn to tatters. How sad! It could be any personal belonging; they use it until it’s not good enough to be given to someone else. Such a mentality attracts poverty, and it has kept many in a despicable state for a long time.  Whatever God blesses you with, no matter how small or big it is, when you use it, let it be good enough for someone else. When you give such things to others, be sure they’re in an excellent state to be used with dignity. That’s the way to live. There should never be anything that you own that you can’t give out.  God wants you to always be a blessing to others who aren’t as blessed as you are. There’re things you haven’t used in a long while, yet you’re keeping them. That’s not a prosperity attitude. Do the Word; get into your closet and search out belongings you’ve piled up and probably wouldn’t even use for another one or two years. Give them out, and watch your life take an upward dive. #offer7 #Dec7 #gathering #sheaves #celebrating #riches #instruction #autoedification #reflection #influence #supernatural #affirmationtrain

FASTING INFLUENCES YOU—NOT GOD  -Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc. D.D "Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words." (Daniel 10:12). The important thing about fasting is the “purpose” of the fast. There’re those who emphasize fasting for long periods, like forty days, the way Jesus did. Well, the quality of a fast isn’t so much the longevity as it is the purpose. Some people erroneously think that the longer the fast, the more God is moved to answer them; no! God isn’t altered or influenced by your fasting. Your fasting only influences and affects you. Fasting helps you to become more conscious of the divine nature in you. I’m not talking about the kind of fast that’s done amidst all the distractions imaginable, but the kind where the flesh is completely subdued. I’m referring to the kind where you separate yourself from the rest of the world and spend time to pray, study, and meditate on God’s Word. At such times, it becomes easy for the Lord to get your attention, minister to you, and transform your life, because your affection is fully set on Him. Through this kind of purposeful fasting, your spirit stands up like a giant; your humanity or the influence of the flesh wanes and your divinity rises. At such a time, when you utter a word, it transcends the arena of the human mind; it proceeds from your spirit with the potency and energy of the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah! @ror #21DaysPrayerandFasting #CEPHZONE3

#Highlights from Morning Session of the Global Prayer Week Day 5 The Esteemed Pastor Biodun Lawal Exhorts..  No man, institution, organisation or government shall be able to stand against the words we have declared in prayer this week. Men are hearing my voice, men are hearing my word says the Holy Ghost. The Word is penetrating cities. Men are rising up everywhere to hear the Word. The Lord is doing a quick work in your life, there is no more delay. HEBREWS 13:15 God didn't leave us in doubt as to the kind of praise He wants us to offer. MATTHEW 16:13-16 Jesus was requiring the disciples to make their personal confession of who He was to them. Who is Jesus to you? What is your confession of Jesus' person to you? In verse 17, Jesus' response to Peter's declaration resulted in an invocation of blessings. When we make confessions unto His name, there is an invocation of power for supernatural results. When you make declarations unto His name, the Lord begins to unveil things to your understanding, for in Christ Jesus are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Just declaring who Jesus Christ is to you will cause a ripple effect in your life. David was always making confessions to God, exalting and praising Him always. No wonder he was so blessed. As we make confessions to His name, our influence and voice extends beyond this world. The place of prayer is the place of confession. Christianity is the great confession. Pastor has taught us to practise the following confessions of our faith: ◼ Confess who God is to you; God is love. ◼ Confess who Jesus Christ is to you; Christ is my righteousness, Christ is my wisdom, Christ is my riddance... ◼ Confess who the Holy Spirit is to you; He is my advocate, my strengthener, my comforter, my counselor... ◼ Confess who you are; I am the righteousness of God in Christ... ◼ Confess what you have; All things are mine. I am blessed with all heavenly blessings... ◼ Confess what you can do; I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me... ◼ Confess where you are; I am in Christ... Get the message by our man of God, Pastor Chris titled OUR SEVEN GREAT CONFESSIONS from PCDL at http://pcdl.co Be reminded to send your prayer requests to prayerweek@yourloveworld.org for a Special Grand Finale with our man of God, Pastor Chris. #prayingnow #GlobalPrayerWeek #Nigeria #cephzone3
