YOUR RHAPSODY TODAY A Life Of Dominion The Word doesn’t say, “You’ll overcome if you pray hard enough”; the only criterion is to be born of God and you automatically have power over every crisis, and dominion over circumstances. Distressing situations may come from the enemy—the devil, but be unruffled; in Christ you’ve already been made victorious. He overcame the world and gave us the victory, the power to subdue this world. That’s what John affirms in our opening verse. The word, “overcometh”means to have victory over, to subdue, conquer, and to prevail over. You’ve subdued, tamed and conquered the elements of this world; the circumstances of life; therefore, walk in dominion over them. Read the full article on bit.ly/ReadMyRhapsody

ALL PARTNERS ONLINE CONFERENCE WITH PASTOR CHRIS DAY 1 RECAP: Not every Christian is talking to people but if you want to operate beyond the ordinary as a Christian, you must be involved in partnership. Luke7:1-6. If God says you should do something, do it immediately and don't seek for explanations. When you want to do things for God, don't always expect that everything will go smoothly. No, there will be challenges to try and work against you cos you dared to do something big for God. Always identify the source or cause of a delay or problem or frustration. Information about the world we live and how to deal with it. Ephesians 6:10-13. There is a dark realm over this world and we are set against them. There is an evil day, that day is the day of pressure, attack, challenges, when its seems like the whole world is caving in on you, and it could seem like it's coming from all directions, don't bow under the pressure, don't choke, put on the whole armour of God. Whenever you face any adversity in your life, always look at the end you desire, the miracle; for you're the one that'll remain standing and you'll testify of God. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4. Satan is the god of this world's system, he can run the world but he can't run our lives. There are things we must do so that we don't find ourselves under the influence of Satan cos there are some Christians under the influence of Satan and they don't even know it. Luke 4:2-7. Note that Jesus was tempted of the devil. How did the devil take Jesus to the high mountain? Did he carry Him there? No. Prior to this, Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist, then He was led/driven of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. The Spirit spoke/influenced Jesus to go to the wilderness, so He would have been influenced by the Spirit without necessarily knowing why but discovering He was lead of the Spirit. Similar examples are Peter and Caiaphas the High Priest. Remember that Jesus put aside His Glory and functioned as a man, that's why He was hungry, tired and He slept. Thus, Satan moved Jesus to climb that mountain and showed Him a vision, therefore its important to be discerning of the revelation you receive. This was a bonafide temptation. The world in which you function is under the dominion of darkness; that's why you must learn to subdue it with the Word of God and by the Spirit of God. Malachi 3:10-11 there is a devourer, and sometimes Christians fall prey to this. We are victors not victims. Q: Why did God have to visit Sodom and Gomorrah to see the evil they had been doing, if it was as much as He had heard it? A: There are principles that God has established on the earth, He knows all things and normally He should have waited for Judgement Day to deal with Sodom and Gomorrah. But cos their evil was so much He had to interrupt the process and bring Judgement according to the principles on earth, which says where two or three witnesses are established and that's why He sent two angels in the form of men to come and be witnesses. Q: How does a Christian change a negative habit that he knows that if continued, can lead him to hell? A: In changing bad habits, you must voice your faith, your decisions cos the power to change everything about your spirit, soul and body is with your Words. Thus 1. Establish they are wrong habits 2. Make up your mind to stop doing them 3. Repeatedly check yourself anytime you do them, and you must speak out your check 4. Replace the bad habits with good ones. Repeatedly check yourself and do the good ones six consecutive times or for six weeks continuously to form a good habit. There are some things God wants us to have and one of them is the right consciousness/mentality. John 20:29 Jesus is talking about transcendental blessing, a different, special kind of blessing. The blessing of the faith-life. Pastor further expantiates on the blessings associated with seeing the unseen, Seeing that goes beyond the sense realm; for we walk by faith and not by sensory perceptions. Pastor admonishes us: Don't wait till you see or feel it first; see with the eyes of the Spirit for we are of our Heavenly Father and not of this world.
