Pray-A-Thon 2020 - Mon March 30 As Christians, our offensive weapon of war is the spoken Word, referred to in Scripture as the Sword of the Spirit. Learn more in this Monday's Rhapsody. Ephesians 6:10-18 says, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints". At our prayer times today, we'll pray fervidly in tongues of the Spirit, for most of the 15min sessions. Pray for the leaders of your nation, and pray for the churches of Christ around the world, that the Lord's will and purpose prevails. Declare prophetic words as the Spirit inspires you. You can watch our rebroadcasts and live shows again today, showing on all Loveworld Networks, ministry websites and social media platforms. Times are 9am and 7pm GMT+1. God bless you.
#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN 18TH MARCH. I affirm that I am an offspring of the Word; I am born into wealth! Down in my heart is the nature of the Father; therefore, I am known for excellence. I am a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar creation, called out of darkness into God's marvelous light, to display the excellence and perfections of divinity! As the Father is, so am I in this world. I have all the attributes of God. From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, I am inundated with the life of God. I am indestructible! The life of God in me causes me to prosper in all that I do. I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water and I bring forth fruit always. I do not know when the heat comes because my trust is in the Lord. The grace of God is superabundance in my life; thus, when men experience a casting down, I am continuously lifted up. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly heritage. Goodness and mercy are my constant companions. Everywhere I go, I am a success! The Word of God dwells in me richly in all wisdom, propelling me in perfection and excellence. I have a sound mind, and an excellent life because I am yielded to, and led by the Holy Spirit, who guides me through the Word. I am perfect, proficient, and thoroughly fitted for every good work. Blessed be God. Hallelujah! SPEAK IN OTHER TONGUES NOW • Be bold to say the same things that God has said concerning you in His Word. DAY 3 - GLOBAL PRAYER AND FASTING WITH OUR DEAR MAN OF GOD. IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT FASTING YOU NEED TO KNOW. As a Christian, there's a level you'll never attain in spiritual things except you discipline yourself by praying and FASTING from time to time such as this Fasting is an exercise designed to bring the flesh under subjection of your spirit. Fasting has to do with abstinence from food and other forms of distractions so you can be better attuned to the Spirit of God. ➡️ Fasting oftentimes goes with prayer and deep meditation. ➡️Fasting trains your spirit to be sensitive and responsive to God. ➡️Fasting gets you attuned to the Spirit so you can hear what God is saying and be guided by His Spirit to do His Will and follow His purpose for your life. Prayer at 12noon, 6pm and 10pm (GMT+1) - Tues Dec 11 "The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]..." James 5:16 AMP At all prayer sessions today, we'll pray fervently in the spirit, and intercede for young children, teens and youths around the world; for their deliverance, protection from the enemy, and from wicked and unreasonable men; pray for the salvation of those yet to know the Lord; and that the perfect will of God be established in their lives to the glory of His Name. Pray specially for your country. God bless you.
Prayer at 12noon, 6pm and 10pm (Local/GMT) - Mon Dec 10 Our fasting and prayer program begins today, and we will pray at 12noon, 6pm and 10pm (Local/GMT). "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself..." 1 Corinthians 14:2-4 In today's sessions, we'll pray fervidly in tongues, edifying our spirits, and attending to the ministry of the Holy Spirit, as He intercedes through us, to bring about God's will and purpose for the Church. God bless you.
EXCERPTS ON PRAYER AND FASTING - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29) Sometimes as Christians, we miss God’s order of things. God is a God of order, and order gives meaning to things. For example, all around the world, people tend to confuse the order and say, “fasting and prayer,” instead of “prayer and fasting.” Prayer comes before fasting in the Scriptures. Not understanding the right order may account for the reason many people fast without praying, which is largely a waste of time and effort. The emphasis should be on praying. It’s a call to prayer, and because you’re praying, you’re consciously staying away from eating. The fast is on, because you’re praying, not because you’re not eating. Acts 13:2 says, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said….” Notice the order: they ministered to the Lord and fasted. How do you minister to the Lord? It’s in worship, prayer, praise and thanksgiving. The focus was on ministering to the Lord, and because of this, they fasted. Then the Lord spoke to them after they had prayed. The New Year is just around the corner, and in preparing for it, you must spend time to pray and fast. Make sure you participate fully, bearing in mind the purpose of the fast: praying; ministering to the Lord. Some people occupy themselves with various irrelevant activities during prayer and fasting, so they don’t feel the hunger until it’s time to break the fast, no; it’s not that way. Aside from praying, the only activities you should indulge in and encourage are such that would further inspire you to pray, such as studying and meditating on the Word. Take your Bible and some Christian books to read, and messages to listen to or watch on your devices. Put the TV off, and cast the newspapers and magazines aside. Possibly, put off your phone or turn off the network; you don’t need any distraction. If you desire specific outstanding results in the coming year that only the anointing can produce, you need to do this: Spend quality time to speak in tongues and position yourself for achievements and significant exploits, not just in the coming year, but in the years ahead. PRAYER FOR YOU Blessed Lord, I thank you for all that you’ve prepared for me in the coming year. My spiritual antenna is raised to hear and receive your instructions, guidance, and wisdom that’ll propel me in the path of greatness that you’ve ordained for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
IT'S OUR MONTH OF GATHERING SHEAVES. BE DILIGENT - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Proverbs 22:29). Diligence is the ability to exercise carefulness, persistence, and determination in ensuring excellence in any endeavour. It is giving the degree of care that’s required in a given situation. You’re diligent when you employ commitment and perseverance in transforming vision into reality. Those are two key elements of diligence: commitment and perseverance. The Lord expects this of us in carrying out all that He instructs us to do. A diligent person puts his very best into what he or she does, and pays attention to details to achieve perfection. When you’re diligent, God promotes you and brings you to the place of influence and authority. That’s what we read in our opening verse: you’ll stand before kings and not ordinary men. Consider David: his diligence and faith in tending his father’s "few sheep" (1 Samuel 17:28) eventually gave him the required training and experience, paving the way for him to defeat Goliath of Gath, and be the champion for Israel. Read about him in 1 Samuel 17, and you’d realize how diligent he was in taking care of his father’s sheep. When his father sent him to the battlefront to enquire how his brothers were faring, the Bible tells us specifically that David left the sheep with a keeper (1 Samuel 17:20). He didn’t say, "Well, it’s only a short distance; I’ll be back in no time" and ran off; no. He got someone to tend the sheep while he was away; that’s being diligent. No wonder he was chosen of God to be king over Israel. If you study the lives of successful men and women all around the world, no matter in which field, you’ll discover one common factor in their lives—diligence. It’s one vital ingredient for success that you must practise, both in your personal life, and in spiritual things also. Be diligent in prayer, study of the Word, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. These will enrich you spiritually; you’ll become successful in your spirit, where true success really resides. #happy #birthday #pastorchris #offer7 #Dec7 #celebritychef #month #gathering #sheaves #celebrating #riches #instruction #autoedification #reflection #influence #supernatural #affirmationtrain
